We just need to find a way to ship SEN, TSM, 100T, KCorp, KOI, G2, BBL, and Zeta to every event
NTH couldn't even get 10 rounds against DRX, you call that a good team? Even Damwon did better than that. And Zeta lost to that...
NU got 3rd? Also I genuinely want to see what bullshit you are going to make up to tell me that JP are currently a better region
he was rated as one of the top three IGLs in NA when he joined T1
whz wouldn't get away with half the plays he does in any other region though
he did well in the group stage but was pretty mediocre in the playoffs
Alright, so I did only true international matches and the only two regions that changed were NA and EMEA:
North America: 64-45 ~58.72%
100 Thieves: 6-2 ~75% - Improved
Sentinels: 19-8 ~70% - Improved
Optic Gaming: 28-21 ~57% - Worsened
Version1: 5-5 ~50% - No Change
Cloud9: 5-5 ~50% - No Change
XSET: 1-2 ~33% - Improved
The Guard: 0-2 ~0% - Worsened
EMEA: 87-54 ~61.70%
Gambit Esports: 18-7 ~72% - Improved
FunPlus Phoenix: 13-6 ~68% - Improved
Team Liquid: 17-8 ~68% - Improved
SuperMassive Blaze: 2-1 ~67% - Improved
G2 Esports: 11-7 ~61% - Improved
Acend: 7-5 ~58% - Worsened
Guild Esports: 4-3 ~57% - Improved
Fnatic: 15-17 ~47% - Worsened
True, I’ll try one with only international matchups to see what changes
I didn’t think about that. For the teams that probably led to some inflated stats, say from Optic beating NA teams, but I don’t think it has much effect on the region stats, since it should just cancel out.
EMEA/NA debate is over for now
I saw a comment on Reddit that described them well, the person said they play aggressively but not in like a good way, say like PRX organized chaos gameplay, more like Brazilian teams in 2021
I’m excited to see China play too, especially since EDG have been doing well in scrims
Yep, NA and EMEA were pretty much tied before xset bombed out, maybe they'll do better in Champs
You guys are lucky 'Built By Gamers Academy' didn't come to play
Japan: 15-32 (Record) ~32% (Map Win Percentage)
Zeta Division: 11-15 ~42%
Northeption: 2-5 ~29%
Crazy Raccoon: 2-12 ~14%
Brazil: 22-41 ~35%
Loud: 8-9 ~47%
Ninjas in Pyjamas: 3-4 ~43%
Team Vikings: 5-8 ~38%
Furia: 2-4 ~33%
Keyd Stars: 3-8 ~27%
Sharks Esports: 1-4 ~20%
Liberty: 0-4 ~0%
Latin America: 20-30 ~40%
Leviatan: 4-5 ~44%
KRU Esports: 16-25 ~39%
Asia-Pacific: 32-35 ~48%
Paper Rex: 15-12 ~56%
Team Secret: 5-4 ~56%
Xerxia Esports: 12-15 ~44%
Full Sense: 0-4 ~0%
Korea: 31-31 ~50%
DRX: 24-17 ~59%
Nuturn: 5-6 ~45%
F4Q: 2-8 ~20%
North America: 73-54 ~57%
Sentinels: 19-10 ~66%
Optic Gaming: 36-22 ~62%
100 Thieves: 6-4 ~60%
Version1: 5-5 ~50%
Cloud9: 5-5 ~50%
The Guard: 1-4 ~20%
XSET: 1-4 ~20%
EMEA: 111-78 ~59%
Gambit Esports: 22-10 ~69%
Acend: 16-8 ~67%
FunPlus Phoenix: 17-10 ~63%
Team Liquid: 17-12 ~59%
G2 Esports: 11-9 ~55%
Fnatic: 20-19 ~51%
Guild Esports: 5-5 ~50%
SuperMassive Blaze: 3-5 ~38%
*This list is over the course of the entire game, so regions like APAC/BR are lower than you may expect, even though teams like Paper Rex are on the rise. Also someone tell me if I did any of the math wrong, cause the dude who made one of these before had a lot of mistakes.
I think Gen.G will go to APAC and T1 will stay in NA
Organizations like T1 and FPX have basically a 100% chance to get franchised, it’s just whether they can make it into the league of their choosing
I care more about the LCQs than Champions
Replace Astra with Viper and you have a good comp imo
I think it’ll be tough on ct without a viper
It doesn’t, he’s just biased to Leviatan because his favorite team nearly lost to them
Don’t tell Shownu that the only teams that Fnatic beat were the same ones that DRX beat 🤫
Optic at #6 is wild and both NTH and DRX beat XIA and LEV in head to head matches while placing equally/higher than them
The only team at the event worse than them was XSET and XIA have had a lot more LAN experience, I don’t think they’re underrated
Aside from cheering for DK, I'd like to see one of Sentinels, BBL, or EDG make Champions for the hype, so those are the teams I'm cheering for I guess
Acend and Guild don't really have big fanbases and Guild aren't very financially stable. Organizations like KOI and KCorp have a higher chance to make it in in my opinion.
Same, praying that DK don’t bench him lol
imagine a Sentinels vs 100 Thieves match, it'd do numbers
I’m more hyped for the LCQs than Champions lmao. I can’t wait to see Shroud play, Chinese teams, the South American drama, and the new Damwon
We have genuinely no clue since JP playerbase stats get clumped with APACs. I’d assume it’s pretty high though, but still smaller than NA/EMEA’s
NA Viewership: ~94k Avg, 217k Peak
BR Viewership: ~41k Avg, 142k Peak
EMEA Viewership: ~70k Avg, 160k Peak
JP Viewership: ~112k Avg, 292k Peak
Japan does have the highest viewership out of any region though

I didn’t even trust DRX lmao
Mindfreak is underrated, but I still don't think he's better than Marved or maybe even MaKo
Optic had to fight through groups, had a closer match against Paper Rex, and put up an equal fight against FPX. Fnatic beat literally only the same teams that DRX did, which is FPX with a sub and Leviatan. Optic are better than Fnatic.
regions don't matter in general lmfao, you can't scale hundreds of teams off of the performance of 12
Loud are probably higher but they didn't do anything notable this event, so I don't know where to put them
I can’t imagine this looks good for franchising…
It’s not really a dispute anymore. Even when DRX were the undisputed kings of Asia, most people thought SEA were the better region.
You should look at it as individual teams, like PRX being the best team in Asia instead of regions tho, since we don’t get enough international play yet to scale regions in my opinion
Yeah, you're right. On paper it should be just DRX and DK in the league, but I have a feeling that T1 and Gen.G are going to complicate things
