Yeah, I agree that the EMEA slots aren’t reasonable at all, they should’ve given the extra SA LCQ slot to the winner of Copenhagen in my opinion or just made it a permanent EMEA slot

Grouping APAC and EA is like putting SA and NA together, they’re different regions with a different playstyle. With 7 slots in Chanpions (nearly half), an American team better win by your logic.

People have said that for the past two events, I don’t think they’ll do much since Champions has even tougher competition

Simple Answer: the teams just get better the further in the bracket they go, it’s a lot easier to farm a NiP or a NTH then an OpTic or FPX. When they face a team that they don’t know how to immediately counter, they can’t adapt and their mental collapses since they are so use to farming in KR.

I think it would be like Rock Paper Scissors. EDG beats DRX since they struggle with individual skill, DRX beat PRX cause they’ve got their playstyle down from scrims, and PRX beat EDG since they can actually match them in aim duels

I know that this isn’t the best comparison, but EDG haven’t achieved enough to warrant being called stronger. Definitely would be a great match though!
