Why do they get a free pass from criticism when they are ‘mid’.

They don’t lol, do you see the threads everyday criticizing them? All I’m saying is that they aren’t that bad and people are trying their hardest to hold onto the narrative that they get overhyped every event, even though most people placed them at 5-6th before Copenhagen. They haven’t been overhyped since losing to OpTic in Reykjavik. I don’t see other teams like XIA or KRU who place ‘mid’ consistently getting this much hate as well.

Here before everyone says DRX are overhyped even though most people ranked them at 5-6th for Copenhagen before the event. Teams like 100T are getting hyped up way more right now than DRX have this entire year.

Also is it a hot take to say Bleed don’t make franchising? They’ve dropped their Academy team recently and have never had anything to do with the GC scene. The org as well has failed to create any kind of fanbase or hype. Money matters a lot but it isn’t everything, the only way I could see them making it is if they buyout the whole Paper Rex roster.

It’s like Paper Rex, they have a top notch team and a decent size fan base, although it’s still smaller then CR or Zeta’s though, but will lose out to bigger orgs that have more sustainability. Seoldam also is pretty much the only reason the project even made it this far. They’re a good org but don’t have the funding for franchising.

For Japan, Crazy Raccoon and Zeta Division are locks. Sengoku, Reject, DetonatioN, and Fennel would be a possible third.

DRX with Meteor or Sayaplayer instead of Rb

I have high hopes for ZmjjKK, but let’s be real, he’s probably not even a top three Chamber right now

I love how people make these tier lists like they are on the team and know what the coaches are doing behind the scene. The only coach that I think is truly proven to be solid is Onur, since he has brought two teams to Masters level. Everyone else is just a shot in the dark whether they are actually good or not.

I have Zeta losing to BOOM as well, playing with a sub is just too tough

Group C and D remind me exactly of Champions last year:
Group C
FPX = Gambit - A strong CIS team coming off of a Masters win
KRU = Secret - A team that can catch others off guard if they don't take them seriously
XSET = Vikings - Underperformed expectations and has embarrassed their scene (BNJ = Gtn)
XIA = CR - Fodder Asian team that gets grouped every event

Group D
Furia = Full Sense - Underdog that probably won't do much
DRX = Vision Strikers - same team lol
Fnatic = Fnatic - same team lol
100T = Cloud9 - NA LCQ team that may end up being the best NA team

Weak comparatively. Optic is good and Loud should be good, but Zeta is playing with a sub and BOOM are one of the weakest teams at the event.

Group C is a joke, XIA and KRU haven’t made it out of groups once this year and XSET haven’t won an international match yet, anyone from Group A could be the lower seed in Group C

I think the Chamber Nerf will help DRX since they struggle against strong individual talent, which Chamber massively amplified.

Same script as last Champions, 100T lose a close match to Fnatic, DRX look great against Furia, DRX lose to Fnatic in a close match and then lose to 100T in another close fake comeback.

even though most people think this’ll happen, including myself, people will still say DRX are overrated when they lose. it’ll be just like last Champions, Furia are Full Sense, Fnatic are Fnatic, and 100T are C9, the other LCQ team

Group C ain't balanced, anyone from Group A could qualify through Group C as the lower seed

Group A = Super Stacked
Group B = Weak/Average
Group C = Super Weak
Group D = Stacked

It could happen, but people have been saying that literally every event and DRX never end up losing the opening match, they are the underdog slayers

Team Secret, Crazy Raccoon, Zeta Division, and DRX are pretty much all locks in Asia
