Almost lost is a massive overstatement when all three matches were 2-0’s, plus the 2nd map being a blowout for the most part in all series
I favor Loud’s Ascent over DRX’s but I think DRX have a stronger Breeze then Loud

DRX blew out Optic on Fracture and then somehow got destroyed on Breeze, I’m not confident that this series is over

I see a lot of people having DRX place 5-6th cause of the curse but I honestly think this event they'll either go 0-2 or finally go on a run, with no in between. If they beat FPX they'll continue with the momentum, but if they lose in the uppers, I could see them immediately losing in the first round of lowers as well.

Anyway, my point is that whoever gets that TR/CIS slot would just be replacing whatever team gets 13-16th with a TR/CIS team. I’m all for representation but you keep bringing up performance as the reason they deserve the slot even though they’d be just as bad as Zeta if not worse.

Furia vs Fnatic is genuinely proof that this gap that you guys keep bringing up barely exists. A team like Zeta wouldn’t have won the EMEA event by any means, but I think they would definitely qualify from groups unlike BBL

Bringing up KR/JP slots doesn't work to prove your point though since Zeta and DRX have actually proven they deserve to be there, you should be talking about APAC instead (XIA/BOOM). If it's about single country slots, BR also get their own slot every event and don't have to fight for it.
