I mean, he was their best player on Haven by a long shot just now. He ain't that old.

And the Japanese teams are?
Anyone ever actually look at Jingg? I do not wish the military on that lil man.
Davai has always been underrated and I'd love to see him compete in another team
Agreed, I just don't think the team would be willing to do it, unless it was a decision for the next iteration of the team after Champs or something
So -Benjy? I feel like their team is so young that they would rather keep the team together for the rest of the season, unless they got rocked by some internal drama/personal issues
Imo it'll be Vitality, FUT, and TL. We'll have to see how the latter play with Serial, but if they can't reach the same level they were at w/ Kamyk, then it'll be Gentle M8s
Vitality for sure, but fnc is a toss up due to a lot of role issues compared to last year, plus continued roster uncertainty.
Kermit is probably keznit, no?
Momentum player, really rides off confidence. Idrt his raze is all that good, definitely got caught out td on fracture due to bad movement.
Imo he should be on a team like EG, but icy is a better space maker. Overall, not bad, but he was made for the chamber meta, not the aggro duelist era imo
Mazino was frying last year too though, not just this year. Best answer besides him is Jonahp and/or artzin rn
Good util, but his aim was not allat tbh
Probably the best answer here. He's been almost as good as keznit on mostly initiator roles.
At least kingg is giving an international team a shot. I don't think lev will be winning with this roster, but he's cracked, especially for an IGL. He'll go on to win something imo.
Although I think there could also be a good shuffle between kru and lev at some point that could make them a title contender
Yeah, i could deal with a bit of bias, like Achillios towards DRX, but not recognizing it as cope makes for a far worse cast.
Like, no way he thinks this is good casting, right???
Honestly made zero sense to me why they dropped Kamyk. They showed tons of improvement through kick off.
Maybe it was an internal issue, but he doesn't seem like the type to be toxic.
Definitely doesn't 'dominate'. It's 55/45 towards the vandal as far as post-champs stats I've seen from 1-2 years ago. There's definitely a good incentive to use the phantom over the vandal in plenty of scenarios and while playing plenty of roles. Most controllers, Cypher, and even duelists have lots of reasons to use the phantom.
And honestly, I see way more phantoms in pro player than I do ranked, to your point.
The easy spam kills are too valuable with tracers not being visible
He was banned atp
It was just for like, 1-2 tournaments, cuz he was streaming lots. Definitely could have won trophies if he hadn't been a part of the iBP scandal
Meh, this roster should have had chiwawa on it anyways. They're just trying to figure out what can work with magnum. Weird spot to be in for the team.
And as an attacker on A You can basically just win by ulting screens while the defense is about to retake.
Ig that's why ranked games give significantly more xp. They should probably make the weekly rewards comp only.
I think buzz has higher highs, but hyunmin seems so much more consistent.
As much as I wanna support a fellow ontario lad, koalanoob definitely hasn't been impactful enough on the duelist. Comeback would be better, but at that point, they should just go for a full Turkish roster imo
C9 definitely LFT OXY
If Xeppaa were more consistent, then perhaps that wouldn't be the case.
E: 2025 performance so far yadayada
Imo boostio is overrated as an IGL
That EG roster that won Champs was amazing looking back at every player since then, but boostio has done nothing since, and he's still the worst mechanically. FNS levels of a poor shooter some maps.
Zander has also just been around longer and knows players on the team better. He was playing in NA tier 1 before franchising.
Been to a private uni and a public trades college in Ontario. The average definitely drops in college, but low effort happens everywhere, doesn't matter how prestigious the school.
On the bright side, most people not smart enough to put the work in are weeded out of uni programs by at least halfway through, probably sooner. Being a leader in the group and delegating tasks is the best thing to do if you're roped in with people you think are lazy.
Good luck OP! Take what lessons you can from it. 9-5 jobs don't suck, but they're definitely boring.
Considering how long he was on OXG, he had more than enough experience, professionally or otherwise, to know how to communicate.
100% agree, the org was just trying to save face with their vlogs after dropping their highest rated player from their off season tourney win.
C9 type beat.
I think he's happy on EG rn though. Besides, potter could do the same thing with him there now.
Practice makes perfect, for any game. You can honestly get diamond or ascendant with a basic understanding of how the game works and how your abilities work. Just stick to one class of agents (i.e. senti/controller/initiator, duelist mains are abundant), play a few rounds of death match before queuing ranked, and you'll be fine.
A good PC, peripherals, and working ethernet are also important.
I've never liked s0m as a personality, but he is a great player in terms of both mechanics and comms. He's been playing pro between val and cs for better part of a decade.
FNS I agree is incredibly overrated, but s0m is definitely capable of being on a VCT roster.
She's definitely an actual comp (pro) agent, rather than a ranked one. Gotta at least have a duo initiator/controller.
Unless they're popping off and you're not having any impact, buy light/regen shields at least, then worry about buying someone else.
If it's eco and someone wants a sheriff, don't do it at your own expense to not have armor the next round
T1 didn't look that great before Bangkok, but they improved through the tournament. Not a mickey mouse win, just a team with talent peaking at the right time.
First event of the year is always a little random, between new rosters, new metas, and essentially unknown title contenders.
Like, EG '23? No chance anyone thought they would make deep runs
I believe nobody plays for EDG, and im afraid they did not win this tournament.
Smart guy, figuring out the meta so fast.
Probably peaks around 3pm-5pm across the americas. Not that many apac users, and there's a large amount of users from EMEA, but neither can amount to the shitposting of North American highschool students
Ppl don't know, but I sip overpriced orange pekoe while I shitpost
Rez is on a different team now, and while they aren't going to win titles, he's been a good performer for them.
Pretty fair comparison for his NiP stint. Both have had high highs, and low lows, and have been a significant source of their respective orgs stardom.
That being said, like rez, might be time for asuna to change teams.
Look at the date this was posted people
KRU always has up and down performances, but he definitely hasn't been playing as well as he was with heat on the team.
If you want underdogs, I'd prolly say, by league (imo):
Furia/EG
Gentle M8s/KC
Talon/Nongshim/RRQ
Would be nice, but the main reason we don't see rosters stay together longer is the ridiculously long off season combined with a busy (and relatively short) active season for competitive.
You don't get that many shots to make it very far, let alone in actually making it to international events.
Looking at CS for comparison, they have 1 month off seasons 2-3 times per year, wayyy more tournaments (actually LANs with teams from multiple countries), and we're not even talking about what the actual majors look like.
Tl;dr Riot's structuring of the competitive scene is what necessitates cut-throat roster decisions. If they added a policy to deter orgs from making roster decisions, the irony would be pretty apparent.
100% chemistry issues.
C0M has great comms (hahAA), is a decent fragger, and has been with the core longer.
I think natank was the most talented player on the roster, but retaining the identity of the team is more important than keeping your import.
No point in starting from basically square one before split 1 starts.
If this guy mostly plays duelist/flash initiator then it'll be -something or -jinggg more than likely.
Famsii is a good player, hope he makes a more permanent jump to Tier 1.
How tf does Enzo top frag on literally ANY team????
That's like having FNS top frag on a Challengers team
