he played 5 different roles in the bo5 against optic LOL ur smoking crack

posted about a year ago

here's a study that gives credence to what he says
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0960982215015146

now your turn, what's your "real science" as to why it's stupid

posted about a year ago

it would be the dream for them to find an org as 5, but not looking too realistic

pretty crazy that we might actually never see that optic roster vs loud ever again

posted about a year ago

i feel like a lot of ppl changed their perspectives after he said this lol, i noticed a lot of fans starting to give fns more credit recently despite clowning on his kda as always

posted about a year ago

the entire industry of esports is built on optics (lol) and goodwill funding. literally every single action you do as a person of significance is under a microscope at all times. whether you love or hate tate, broadcasting that shit with him on social media was one of the dumbest moves you could possibly do. literally cannot even fathom what he was thinking

posted about a year ago

actual dumbass lmao
imagine thinking its smart to hang with someone like tate when your entire industry is built on pr and venture capital
objectively stupid as hell

do we know what trainee means in an esports context? seems like he's gonna be coached by drx staff then kept for a 6th man type situation

posted about a year ago

this was a fun few weeks! one of the more entertaining events imo, getting to see drx make their run, the turret incident, and of course loud taking it home finally. very impressed by how they played, really well deserved. the future of valorant is bright!

interested to see the shitstorm commence in the next month or two from franchising and rostermania, but i mainly can't wait for february's kick off tournament in brazil. now that's hype, 30 team event with LOUD as defending champs on home turf, god damn it's gonna be good

either way I will go back to touching grass until the next event, it's been fun. adios!

posted about a year ago

holy shit FNS is a genius… he knew exactly which round aspas would clutch and prepared a windows update to go off ahead of time

posted about a year ago

i think come franchising meteor will be key in the formation of a second world-class korean team, lots of talents that can be built around him to create a roster at the level of drx

posted about a year ago

people are clowning you but i can understand what you mean, not the players you mentioned specifically but im sure there are players whose peaks can be comparable or even better than yay, but ultimately the comparisons seem ridiculous because he a) is absurdly consistent and b) does it against the best teams in the world, over and over again

that being said i think there are a lot of hidden talents in every region that we might see in the next few years

just like how players like get right, olof, kennys seemed like the untouchable goats eventually they were surpassed and it’s pretty cool to think about the future of this game imo

posted about a year ago

you can stop trying to force the choking narrative now, they've grown past it

believe it or not, every team has moments where they lose rounds they shouldn't. yes, even optic and loud

posted about a year ago

that’s my igl

posted about a year ago

big advantage in Loud’s hands. hope we have a good game, honestly would be happy with either team winning because both have such good narratives behind them

posted about a year ago

how is such an innocent comment still rent free in your head, every normal Brazilian knows what he meant by that

posted about a year ago

need to pipe down lil bro embarrassing yourself

posted about a year ago

zest guaranteed so many midround kills and reliably traded so many times he was basically the difference maker for a good percentage of rounds today

the biggest example was the round where buzz shorty’d shao, zest immediately had the intuition to hold the fast flank and killed suygetsu preventing an easy double kill

posted about a year ago

because they made up, bcj met up with stax irl and became friends lol

posted about a year ago

the entire point of sportsmanship is keeping it within the game, and then being a normal human outside of it

fpx failed to understand that part of it, stax hasn't

posted about a year ago

korean language just has a decent amount of english loanwords, also most callouts are in english

truly the greatest diplomat of our times

posted about a year ago

well deserved they played great damn

posted about a year ago

unreal how zeta got put in a group with these two man what were riot thinking

posted about a year ago

this is bait but the basic answer is that there is no objectivity when you judge how hard or easy these games are
some might be mechanically simpler but offset it with more depth in tactics / meta adaptation. or vice versa

once you realize this, you start to recognize that talking about which games have easier shooting mechanics is so pointless the only reason you would talk about it is to jerk yourself off about the esports you like vs the ones other people like

posted about a year ago

i think there are aim gods in every region tbh, some might be completely undiscovered still or on t2/3 teams and haven't gotten the opportunity to shine just yet. curious to see the scene in a few years

posted about a year ago

i feel like the average valorant fan is too young to even know about the fns kng incident LOL

posted about a year ago

their opponent isnt even going through their head bro, they do an interview right after they lose, he feels like he played like shit, that's what he says. people are so desperate for arguments when there's nothing there

posted about a year ago

they dropped that name a few years ago, don't use it anywhere i can see

posted about a year ago

it's just not that deep man. suygetsu calls them losers ok cool. now we have people that want to see them lose, that's fucking sick. it keeps you engaged with the game, it's just like wanting to see someone you like win.
in the end the xset players aren't crying in their sleep because they got called a bozo on twitter lol

posted about a year ago

i'm starting to think that people just want the entire pro scene to be friendly humble guys
it's nice to have people like that, players like tenz and yay are great to represent the scene

but you gotta have some big egos, some villains. i watched na league for years and that shit would have been stale without doublelift

edit: yknow nobody's gonna read this but i did some more digging and suygetsu might actually just be an asshole LOL either way at least it gives you a reason to root against them

posted about a year ago

xset ekko ulted

posted about a year ago

as a spectator i think its awkward and uncomfortable

if i was an xset player i would say fuck that give me the replay, this is the biggest event of the year and i wouldn't want to lose because of some shit bug

posted about a year ago

it's almost comedic if you think about it
drx are literally the only team that get haters because they're consistently a top 5 team in the world

i don't know anything about gc but festival from fennel is crrrraacked i watch her streams sometimes

more than expected LMAO god damn im old

posted about a year ago

is it me or is yay a bit of a boring player

like u see it at the end of the game
"oh wow yay has 32 kills"
but u can never remember them.

can u remember a single yay kill ?

but try cryo...u can see the flick
i remember a cryo flick.

posted about a year ago

there are two major factors in the map/veto
1) pearl
2) whether drx chooses to ban ascent or not
these two things will completely change how the game plays out, could favor either team based on it

posted about a year ago

so did seangares 👀

posted about a year ago

if they lose to loud and then get eliminated in lowers they're gonna get keep getting memed on which is sad
but i think their win against FPX in playoffs is a statement enough that they've evolved and made attempts to fix their mental holes

posted about a year ago

the lower bracket run is the most hype storyline in any tournament, single elim just leaves a bitter feeling behind for most people stuck thinking about what ifs

posted about a year ago

all relative to your starting point
you don't judge your own improvement based on what other people think of ur rank

posted about a year ago

i was impressed by both of them today, hope we get a 3 map banger

what he said

posted about a year ago

someone asked me for my riot buddy and i told them 200 dollars paypal as a joke
rito thought i was actually trying to extort someone

posted about a year ago

interesting match up we have coming soon, it's one i've wanted to see for a long time but brackets never let it happen

i think both teams are coming off of statement games -- loud stringing together a comeback from 12-6 and drx winning an attrition battle of 6 overtimes against the defending champs

both seem deadly at the moment and i think it would be very shortsighted if fans of either are underestimating the other team

posted about a year ago

if their mental was as shit as before this game would have ended after the ardis clutch

posted about a year ago

brazil doing the comeback for once instead of being comeback on, you love to see it

posted about a year ago

just awkward delivery there was no bad intent there
