I don't know about Paper Rex, but there's no way they'll beat Vision Strikers

He wasn't referring to Sentinels specifically, he was talking about the NA Valorant scene saying that, in general, they (NA teams) are cocky. Is he wrong? I dont think so.

I feel you. As a bronze, its pretty easy to spot when pro players fuck up because we see the same shit constantly on our games lol

Soulcas is main Skye, with the ability to switch to Raze when needed, so thats two roles he can switch comfortably
Scream can flex (Jett, Reyna, Sage, Kayo and)
Jamppi mainly switches between Jett and Omen so thats two comfortable roles as well
As for Nivera, theres no telling what role he will fit in better. But even if he can play duelist, it wouldnt mean he will be a duelist main.

Just because 4 players can play duelist doesnt mean theyll play the same role at the same time. Thats what flexing is for, and is better to be a flexible team than be a one-role player.

Well, for starters, G2 had a 3 round lead on their 3rd map, Bind (12-9), and then lost 5 straight rounds to lose the match. In comparison, TL's 3rd map Icebox had Liquid losing 5-11, which is when their comeback started and the team managed to get up 12-11 and force overtime. You may think is the same situation, but in G2's case, they lost their chance to close out the match while leading, while TL managed to force overtime after a 7-round comeback. Then, after TL found themselves losing again, they forced a 3rd overtime, while G2 didn't win a single round after being up 12-9 and lost in the 1st overtime, losing 5 straight rounds when it mattered most. So when you ask how is the way they lost different, is different in the way that TL managed to force 2 overtimes with some key clutches (GMB forced 1) and had more chances to get the W than G2 did (2 times at match point vs 1 time).

But again, no point in "what if"s. G2 qualified, Liquid didnt so that pretty much answers the original question. And I like G2 too so this is just me over-analyzing things, not dissing or anything.

THIS. Alot of people cant understand this.

I dont know if they are more deserving, but the way TL lost to Gambit definitely makes me wonder if they could perform better than G2 on Berlin. I mean that 3rd map (Icebox) between TL and Gambit really could've gone either way after TL's comeback and probably would've gone to TL if Jamppi had found some of his missed shots.

There's really no point in "what if" at this point though. TL lost, G2 made it. I like G2 too so hopefully they''ll make a good performance.

TL beat Giants 3-1. You really think Giants beating TL was a given?

Sentinels. Nothing against the team or the chill fans (I follow them myself), but most fans (or at least the loudest ones) are either riding the bandwagon, TenZ dick riders or Sinatraa supporters.

Is people like you that make the NA region look bad

I dont mind 2 EMEA teams being in the same group, but going up against each other in the first round? Is stupid. Plus is not just Group A, Group B has 3 #1 teams: JP, Brazil and LATAM region winners. Where is the balance in that?

Group A is crazy stacked plus 2 teams from the same region, wth?

Anyways:
Group A: Vision Strikers & SMB
Group B: Envy & Kru/Zeta Division
Group C: 100 Thieves & Gambit
Group D: Sentinels & G2

Well, there are 4 teams in each group and there are 7 regions total (not to mention the only region with 4 teams is EMEA), so is pretty obvious all groups will feel a little unbalanced in terms of region pairing. I wouldn't call this possible group stacked though, I think is a good one.

I dont think there is a "best player in the world". I do think he is one of the best, but there are definitely others up there who are just as good, if not better on some aspects. There's also the player's role in the team to take into account.

Asuna for sure. Also Vision Strikers.

Bren, Paper Rex, Crazy Raccoon and maybe Zeta Division. I know some people say Kru, but I think they have a much better chance of an upset on the "higher tier teams" than both JP and SEA teams.

Would love to see Ethos on the roster, especially since he's itching to compete. Main problem is no IGL though

100 Thieves in NA and Team Liquid in EMEA

I agree soulcas is a better Skye player than a Raze player, but playing the same agent on every map would make the team predictable so even if he ain't that good of a Raze player compared to his Skye, playing Raze on a map like Bind is still the better option comp-wise

As much as I want Liquid to win, the winner is already set. FNC 3 - 1 TL. Hope I'm wrong though.
