Whats even funnier is that "bicho" in Puerto Rico is also penis

Yes. Soulcas was IGL until Jamppi took on the role during the last Challenger Playoffs I believe

posted about 2 years ago

The Jamppi we saw through the entire LCQ was totally different to the Jamppi that choked against Gambit. His improvement is clear

posted about 2 years ago

Agreed. Nothing but love for Kryptix but he definitely was underperforming

posted about 2 years ago

Most people were divided between Liquid and G2. U can't call yourself best analyst when literally half of the people here had Liquid winning LCQ, clown

ngl their promo, memes and banter at Masters 3 made the event much more interesting to follow

I kinda wanna see Nuturn at Champions just for the possibility of watching Lakia vs Nuturn on the international stage. That being said, it would be cool to see a different team make it so I wouldn't mind any of the other teams winning. And I do think NTH has a good chance of winning.

Indeed, what a game!

Not a bad list, but I would put both G2 and Liquid higher than XSET

Yeah but she has no proof so far tho. From what Ive read, shes complaining for not getting a scrim and randomly throwing sexism as the coachs excuse with no screenshots or any other proof of the alleged sexism. "We know other things" is not really evidence, just another claim. If shes gonna make such claims, she should have some proof to back it up, otherwise, shes making herself look bad

posted about 2 years ago

Rooting for Liquid, but I also like G2 so it should be a good match regardless of the winner

Damn I totally missed that xD

Didnt see this coming tbh

People really are quick to forget the reason he was banned for. Nothing against him but signing him is not a decision any org will take lightly regardless of how good he is.

posted about 2 years ago

So far he isn't bad. Played his role well and got some good frags on Icebox, he definitely has the potential to grow better with the team. I think the bigger impact on the short run comes from the change in leadership rather than the change in player.

ikr, as if this hasn't happened in other games like CSGO. Orgs come and go, its just part of the business.

Nadeshot is still CEO though

posted about 2 years ago

To be fair he's been benched for over 6 months, anyone would be tired in that position. I doubt he would be tired if he was in an active roster like he will be now

posted about 2 years ago

Nitro being igl is not really the problem, the problem is the timing. New IGL and b0i joining the active roster so close to LCQ leaves little time for the team to adjust while keeping the same level of play. Hopefully they actually can figure their stuff out in a few weeks

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly. I'll be rooting for them but this move really puts their chances of winning LCQ in question

posted about 2 years ago

I mean Nivera was already scrimming with TL, I doubt they would've signed him if he was underperforming. Only time will tell how good or bad he truly is, no point in hating without even watching 1 match.

posted about 2 years ago

I dont know how I feel about this tbh. Yes he isnt the best player individually but hes a solid IGL. Considering how close LCQ is, I doubt this move is just performance related, something else happened.

Personally I think it would've been better to put her ult on a timer instead of what they did. Or change it so she can't change between her knives and weapons. But that's just me, I don't play her so can't say for sure if the current nerf is good or not.

I know Brazil is Latin America. But Latin America is more of a denomination to those countries where its language is derived from Latin, not really a geographical representation since Latin America also includes the Caribbean countries which are way across the sea.

What I meant for South America is, for example, the LCQ. LATAM/Brazil LCQ is officially named South America LCQ even though, technically, the LATAM and Brazil regions (as in Valorant servers and shit) includes more than just South America. The way I see it, Riot don't really know their shit

Based purely on Berlin results:

S - Gambit, Envy (finalists, no other teams should be here)
A - 100T, G2, Vision Strikers (semifinalists plus VS)
B - Sentinels, Acend, Kru (Quarter finalists)
C - CR, SMB, VK (each team won 1 game)
D - HL, Zeta, F4Q, PRX (0 wins)

Only reason VS is A is because they were matched against Gambit, the Masters winner. They can´t be S since they weren´t finalists but they definitely aren´t B either.

posted about 2 years ago

VS only lost a game and it was to the Berlin winners, in a match between favorites to win it all where each team had 50% chance of winning. And they took a map. So while I understand your point, there really is no ground to call them overrated either.

As for 100T it takes a different kind of mental ability to manage back-to-back comebacks like that against 2 of the better teams in Berlin. That´s what most people respect over them just being good players. So its not really overrating them, but rather acknowledging what that team has over other teams.

Crazy Raccoon is definitely NOT overrated. People just respect them for managing to improve quite a lot in a couple of days, especially when people and even the casters/commentators where counting them out much more easily. So again, its not really overrating them, they just earned a lot of respect in Berlin (which they deserved)

SMB is totally overrated, no arguments there xD

So, I would swap 100T with Acend (who were destroyed by VS and lost to 100T in quarters) and VS with Sentinels (who were destroyed by G2 and also lost in quarters). But that´s just my take.

Secondary fragger/flex - ScreaM
Main Smoker - AvovA
Main Sentinel - nAts
IGL - Boaster

Actually LATAM and BR don´t lie in the same geographical region either. Contrary to misconception, LATAM is NOT just South America, it actually includes Mexico (North America) & the Caribbean as well.

2500 DPI, 1.0 sens

posted about 2 years ago

2500 DPI and 1.0 sens in game (used to be 1.5 when started playing Val)

I´m ready for the comments........

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly. If you´re a good player, then finding your perfect sens could make you a bit better. But if you´re a shitty player no sens is gonna change that

posted about 2 years ago

G2 will play LCQ

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly. Doing the same things they did at Iceland didn't cut it in Berlin and definitely wont cut it at Champions. They HAVE to evolve if they don't wanna get eliminated in quarters again or even earlier at Champions.

posted about 2 years ago

Rooting for Liquid, though I do think G2 has the highest chance out of all teams IF they keep their Berlin momentum going (excluding that L against Gambit, of course). Liquid also has a good chance if they've managed to work out their notable issues and IF the Nivera move actually works out in such a short amount of time (IF he actually joins, of course).

Still, solving some problems is better than solving no problems at all. So, getting a coach is still the better move.....

NA: 100T
EMEA: Liquid or G2
APAC: Nuturn
SA: Australs

posted about 2 years ago

Wardell and Subroza are good enough to be built a team around, and Levi is probably staying unless they manage to grab an even better Sova player. Hazed should definitely be replaced, and probably the coach too.

posted about 2 years ago

NA: 100T if they play, XSET or C9 if not (or TSM depending on who they replace Bang with)
EMEA: Liquid, G2 or Fnatic if they play
SA: Australs
APAC: Nuturn

BO10 leaves a chance for the game to end on a tie 5 - 5. It should be BO11

posted about 2 years ago

I like Sentinels but there was never an era to begin with. Yes, they were the first team to dominate the NA region since Valorant came out a year ago and they won the first major at Iceland. But that's it, one major doesn't really makes for an entire era. Now teams have caught up to them and they lost Berlin. Winning the first major and losing the second one is definitely NOT an era.

Do they have what it takes to actually have an era? Absolutely. But now, they actually have to prove it at Champions.

posted about 2 years ago

For real. An eSports tournament without some banter would be boring. Reading/hearing the banter and choosing between the teams makes matches more worth the watch.
