Funnily enough Zywoo is on the same agency and yet he has made 0 retarded moves in his career so far. He could have easily got a way bigger bag from Falcons however he advocated against it and signed for vita until 2026. I really doubt it's just the agency's fault

you will get better when you play against people who are just slightly better than you, but when the gap is too big that's not a learning experience, that's just being a punching bag

I would say sentinels have done a great job in solving their issue of finding two people instead of two retired ones. Also jawgemo to g2 is a smart move for both

tbf riot do so much to boost viewership (rewards, co-streams, less games) yet the peak viewership numbers on twitch are roughly the same

but that's a slow death, I assume OP wants a faster move

-Region based invites for champs and masters (the less teams you have in the playoffs of champs/masters, the less invites your region has at the next year's edition) -> higher level of competition
-cut off all the advertisment online -> no need to spend the money, everyone knows what valorant is
-Remove any struggling teams in franchising and hire new found clubs backed by huge sports owners like Kroenke or the Glazers
-remove viewership awards
CS 60 mil player base and Major Viewership of 10 mil, ez

yeah cuz it depends on the character of the player. wanted to watch some dota just to unwind, some tier 2 player was sweating his ass off for +25 and meanwhile dyrachyo, 2-time finalist of the international was trolling his games and talking to his chat every second

posted about a year ago

I have learned to ignore ranked stats for pro players after hallzerk went on a 132 game win streak at faceit cs and he is now just a mid awper who is mostly known for slamming his desks. Goes for any game. being a ranked demon is just that, being a ranked demon. Player's real worth is proven at LANs and, preferrably, big LANs

I mean they rent the facility for a month when they could realistically take care of all the games in 2

posted about a year ago

I mean no wonder the players are fatigued, They can be away for months without breaks

posted about a year ago

but that's just insane, the players are at a bootcamp for 4 weeks straight only to play 5 games, wtf

posted about a year ago

I am new to the scene and I started watching only during Champs yet I am looking back now and there are week long breaks in between the games in vct leagues??? No wonder they are fatigued, the gap between the games is huge yet you are still at a bootcamp playing the game. Wouldn't it make sense to condense the games a little bit and allow players to visit their families more?

posted about a year ago

The problem I see that the games aren't as common yet the break in between them is huge. There is no need for week long fucking breaks in between the games for regions.

basically in game souvenier which is sold at every major. In Paris 2023 it reached 110 million for all teams together but the number was inflated (50-60 is probably the norm, which roughly makes it around 2.5 mil for every team)

posted about a year ago

cuz valo is franchised and CS is not.
CS has ESL (7 events next year)
PGL (5)
BLAST (6)
YaLLA(2)
Starladder(2)
FISSURE(2)
EWC(1)
2 majors as well. And these are the tier 1 events, there are also tier 1.5 events or other unannounced tier 1 events. And this is purely open circuit, top 8 are the only ones given direct invites to the 100% of the events, and that top 8 can change quite fast.

posted about a year ago

And now CS will have this number 2x cuz the number of events literally went up from 10 to 30+

I mean cs teams pretty much make that money back thanks to stickers. Navi are rumoured to have gotten jL+iM+Aleksi+wonderful for around 800k and they have now won more prize money than they cost. Now add to that the stickers, which navi will get with a 99.9% chance, and navi has made around 8mil form stickers only and 2mil in prize money (if they are the major and blast world final) and can now advertise themselves as 3x Time Major Winners

posted about a year ago

Why is he down voted, navi kick their coach mid season, EG force their entire team to sign lower salaries, c9 pulls -vanity +vanity -vanity, orgs like Mibr and bbl are just hanging around and liquid are afk on the market

posted about a year ago

Well CS teams are now kinda forced to play the long game cuz major cycles practically lock the scene in place. Like cadian was only signed by Astralis cuz he wasn't a part of any major attending roster

posted about a year ago

G2 IS NOT consistent

posted about a year ago

And also a 2 year stay is enough to see if the org is serious about their intentions or just a passenger

posted about a year ago

I think classics for the guest teams are enough cuz people will buy them "in case the org leaves"

posted about a year ago

Then most teams leave cuz riot finances their stay in the league, and then you have a huge drop in org numbers

Semi franchising will split the shares of the teams more, soo I guess not

posted about a year ago

Why not the fully fledged all stars game? 10 players from 4 eliminated teams, home region, champ host, gets 4 players in, other regions get 2 each.

Also there is the "you will never understand" which was born after brazilian fans were crowd cheating and some animal also spat on navi players. Some users from Brazil said that europeans will never understand such passion for the game

posted about a year ago

Hltv will just reply bra71l trash lmao

posted about a year ago

Old legendary Brazilian five disbanded due to internal issues. Now Brazil is looking on the up however the problem they face rn are the buyouts. Some average Brazilian player can cost 600k. E.g. pain have done well at the Copenhagen major, yet one of their players was loaned, yet suddenly, after the major run, his buyout tripled in price.
And while cs doesn't have metas, you have anti stratting. Sometimes you just lose the strength to solve the issues in your site holds for example, or you fell off morally after some tough loss

posted about a year ago

I guess what could work, possibly, is having a semi-open circuit. The franchised teams still hold onto their slots and they cannot be relegated, however they are now 2 years long and not 4. 10 franchised orgs + 6 guest orgs = 16 team league. Guest orgs qualify to any sort of regional event (kickoff or stage 1/2) based on results in tier 2. There are enough slots to have all the possibly ascending candidates and they can now qualify to international events. So next year, for example, a team like All Knights could clinch a slot for the kick off and then win the kick off while attending the first Masters. It is harder for them due to an extra event, however teams get more exposure, they can still win events and they advertise themselves to riot for the next 2 years

posted about a year ago
  1. Emea will slowly die down as a region (kinda like lol)
  2. china and korea will get stronger and stronger because their talent is way more condensed than america's or europe's talent
  3. navi shouldn't have been chosen for franchising (amongst many other teams, but I am a fan of navi in other games and I do not think riot inviting them was a smart move)

In case you follow cs, the goat iM just won his first mvp after navi won IEM Rio
