How can you think that a player like mixwell doesn't bring any value????? Ofc G2 wouldn't hesitate to kick him if he is not good enough, but kick him off the TEAM not the org dude, he has a contract and not using it is straight away giving money for free.
And yes that is exactly what I mean when I say a business doesn't care about the players. If no one wants to pay for him G2 is not gonna care if Mixwell really wants to compete, he's still gonna have to fulfill his time there
Exactly this dude, a contract it's your word, and until that contract expires you have to do what that contract says which is exactly why if no one buys mixwell out he will remain as content creator and behave like a professional
That's just not true, and again I'm just gonna put a real example, many teams wanted Keloqz right after he was benched but non of them were willing to pay the ridiculous buy-out he had, and it wasn't until when at the end of the market G2 reportedly lowered the buyout to a tenth of what it was before when Heretics paid it, and even after the lowering it was too much for teams like MRS.
So yes, buyouts are a thing, and yes, G2 makes money out of them

Because they have 20 days to prepare pearl meanwhile rest of the teams have had months. Which means if they had another perma ban before they are basically starting series 1-0
Yup, they have like 2 weeks to prepare cause probably most of them haven’t even played it yet plus a the couple days break they are almost gonna have to perma ban it and force them to leave their other weak maps open
