Bro just invented the triple sentinel meta
Last years seed #1 faces the last seed, both teams are lucky or unlucky depending on what the other team did in the off season, not what they did the season before. The last seed probably has one of the easiest match ups in this case. That is pretty random
FNC sort of tried that a couple years ago with their triple smoker + breach, sova. Not the judge part but the smoking the shit out of everything part. It didn't work very well
As you said the seeding is kinda pointless because teams are different than last year. But what's even more pointless is to complain about it, what's the difference between a pointless seeding and a random draft? Both are random
Idk but someone change that fucking cross, it's the worst logo I've ever seen
What about all 55 players in CN
And most importantly, KPI !!!
Format is weird because an 11 team league is complicated. But it's not really a matter of dates because Lock in last year ended early March while Masters Madrid this year ends mid March. So the difference is not very big
Also important to notice that, next season will start at the end of 2024 instead of 2025 to be able to space things out more in the future
It’s not a split. Take it as if instead of the Lock in last year, this year we have masters Madrid, instead of all 30 teams, it’s only 8 teams, but teams have to qualify through kick off.
Basically Kickoff + Madrid = Last years Lock in
We’ll then have 2 splits, another masters and champs
That being said the format is indeed weird, but the with Riot making 11 team tournaments is not easy
Well all I'm saying is they need to be objective things to measure an organization's value to franchising, and that is quite hard to do because I'm also sure orgs demanded guarantees. Ig we do not know and we won't any time soon either
But how does a clause determine if a team is "trying to win" or not? There are minimum salaries, you can't kick someone out for paying them, it wouldn't be the minimum if it wasn't enough. Plus EG isn't the only org paying minimums
There is a minimum salary of something around 40/50k a year for players if I am not mistaken, a coach and someone to post stuff on social media. That's the minimum, other than that I believe teams get more money depending on other factors, but regardless, the minimum is easy to cover
It was just a stand in as sixth for the off season
Another really good team for Ascension
Jady, Unfake, bramz, lux9, babax
I haven't watched babax ngl but the other 4 are very very good
Why in the world would EG want out of a league that guarantees them about a million dollars when they can make roster that cost less than that. But yeah I mean if they wanna disband Riot can't force them
I suppose in that case Riot probably does have the right to replace them with someone else, but I don't think the information of how that would work is public. But I doubt the whole org dissolves, they'll cut expenses but I don't think completely disappear. Riot will probably have clauses to avoid it we just don't know which or how
I'm afraid that's not how it works. EG can't be kicked until the summer of 2026
Idk if it's true but I mean only 2 of the 3 are making it to Masters anyway. It sucks that is this early but is not like someone worse will qualify instead
Tbf Wolves and EG are very related so wouldn't even be that weird if they had the same strategy xD
A 19 year old player who's barely ever played on tier 2 before plays his first ever LAN event with a team that is forced to win and against a foreign crowd. What did you really expect
Keep it up bro, grande
There are gonna be many games like this, league is extremely close, we have 5/6 that could win it
Not the start you would have hoped for for CASE xD
But KPI has had full Russian rosters before is what I'm saying
Yes but it's not a new thing, they have been signing Russians for quite a while
KPI's strategy has been genius for quite a long time. They're a smaller org and it's the only reason they have stayed relevant.
It's normal to get banned for different languages most corporate streams are the same, but even if they don't ban you for language they ban you for other random shit xD
Lol, KPI has the whole gang backing them up. Do hope it goes well this year. I’ve always liked KPI since they made the first Russian roster
Mods do suck, nobody really uses that chat anyway
Most spanish orgs are owned by football players surprisingly, they have more or less implication depending tho
Case is Casemiro
AYM is from AYMeric Laporte
RBT is Parejo and Morata I believe
Last year we had Rebels from De Gea and Bruno Fernandes and Falcons from Azpilicueta
AYM is Laporte's team. Idk which of the 2 is more retired
Por cierto solo como consejo para decir resumen probablemente es mejor utilizar la palabra summary o verbo summarization. Resume se escribe igual pero significa otra cosa, algo así como continuar. Lo digo porque yo tambien he hecho ese error unas cuantas veces xD
He was the mvp for last split actually. Well not really cause MiniBoo kinda robbed it cause Case is more popular, but he was definitely the most impactful player in the league
apeks is there still right? I thought there were going to the east but apparently not
It was a last minute thing actually. KOI took grubinho last minute so UCAM went into the market like 2 weeks ago. Link was surprisingly FA
Well it's a better team than RBT owners and AYM owner xD
Great first game. This 2 should be the 2 main title contenders
I didn't know that ty
But he was there for a very short period of time right?
I agree. I do know why they kept him tho, apparently he’s like prime yay on every scrim, just not on officials. I also think there were better options
First OT of the league
Sure but that's not the point. When your goalkeeper is trash what do you do? You sign a less trash keeper or you get a really good striker to make saves? No matter how trash he is you need a goalie if you not what I mean
Come watch the CASE vs UCAM, two favorites to win the spanish league playing in their debut, gonna be a great match. Onur build Case's roster and UCAM has some very good talents
I don't like Neil much but I think they will be better than people expect. I see more potential in them than in KC but Engh is clearly the better coach. We'll have to see
Yeah it doesn't make any sense, if they wanted to maintain patitek the only logical choices would be 1 for 1 in place of Riens, or MiniBoo out Woot duelist. But I don't think it makes any sense
Crazy how Brazil has produced so many great players but not any good IGL's
