Right after they split, KOI in order to stay relevant and pretty much survived decided to take part into a merger that was already being planned. MAD lions was gonna merge with MRS, MAD desperately needed the Spanish fanbase MRS had, while it was a great opportunity for MRS to grow. KOI entered the conversations aswell and completed the 3 way merger. KOI has the biggest fanbase and VCT spot, MRS has an extremely old an well run sport structure and their CS roster, MAD Lions has the LEC slot and a lot of money. So it's extremely beneficial for all parts

All leagues have the same rules. To compete you need 3 LTR players from any of the countries that that league represents. Spain and Andorra in this case I believe

A player is considered LTR if he has the countries citizenship or if he has played 2 splits in that league

Dimaxx, Bisk and Insider have played 2 splits which means they’re LTR, they count as Spanish basically.

Actually I believe Insider and Bisk have citizenship also since they’ve been living here since they signed for KPI a long time ago, I could be mistaken tho. In any case, Bisk and Insider literally ascended from Spanish tier 3, so they earned their spot more than most of the others tbf

Everyone who has ever played with grubinho has only good things to say about him. He's a great upcoming player, we'll have to see him play but I'm very high on him. UCAM replaced him with Link now that KOI has signed him

Not a fan of Shadow or starxo IGL, grubinho and kamo have great potential tho I'm very high on them, and well sheydos is sheydos. I think they're probably between last and top 8. Good thing is nobody expect much from them unlike last year and they have a very decent amount of experience. I think they could do better than people expect but very far from making any event.

That being said transfer market caught them in the middle of an internal rebuild and merge so couldn't opperate as they wanted to, I would take it a little bit like a transition year, with MAD Lions financial support now they'll be much better.

Also there is not transfer window this year so now that they can operate as they want they could sign anyone during the year

No, idk why is everyone so confused about it, 4 of the 5 members have been signed since October, and Grubinho since December, been leaked everywhere. I understand there is no official announcement of grubinho due to the org recently merging but there is one of the other 4 players. Announcement will be out this week anyway tho
