With all respect to Frod what has he done? He did great at Lock in and added cauanzin and Tuyz really well, but the truth is that loud was an already working team before him. Also Loud was specially known because Sacy and Saadhack did basically all the work so I imagine Saadhack does still a great part of the strategic work.
Previous to that he didn't really do anything too special. I know he helped at Champions and stuff but does that and what he did with LOUD at Lock in make him the best coach in the world? I think the work of all the other guys in your list looks far more impressive
It's UCAM vs Rebels this week. First of all why tf did they choose this game, so many better games. Second of all, kinda sucks that the league whose game is chosen for the week has to rewatch an already broadcasted game
Tragedy incoming
What playoffs my friend. Points do not take you to playoffs. After playoffs whoever has more points is who go to ascension, but that's it, points and playoffs are not related
Chelsea quarterfinals MCI semifinals where have I seen this before
What a game
Again exactly my point Ardiis is a great Jett but hasn't mastered any other agents, his plays are out of pure firepower
Well Twisten beat Alfajer that tournament. That's literally what happened. I'm not bringing down Alfajer, I'm putting into context how good the tier 2 scene is that a player as good and successful as Alfajer had equally good matchups
Well judging a coach it's pretty hard since we don't have the insight of a team. Kind of like judging an IGL but harder because you don't even get to see the team move. You can't know who made a call, a strat or designed a comp without being inside the team, roles are often flexible and everyone brings up ideas.
So my point to say what Onur does seems more impressive is the fact that he has managed to bring more than 1 team to the top of NA starting from the absolute 0, so seeing that common factor actually gives you the guarantee of his importance. Meanwhile of the other hand Chet has more achievements but they are both by the hand of FNS and the OPTC core which doesn't take away the credit but we can't exactly know who does what exactly and which part of the success is entirely thanks to Chet.
Same for other coaches like Frod. Loud was already a top team just by Saadhack and Sacy's work. Onur brought KRU to Champions semifinals, and then turned LEV who never attended an event before into a world class team
Nip Female seems decent, got the bypass for the GC qualifiers
Probably not, it's a different game that requires different capabilities. But just assuming they have failed it's not really fair either because they didn't really get an actual chance
Alright, did some research too. Out of the 40 players you mentioned, 12 were MORE than the 22 years old the you set as the mark to be too late to go pro when Valorant was launched.
Ange1, fns, boaster, victor, crws, stellar, scream, dubstep, borkum, benkai, laz, reita
Out of this 12, Ange1, FNS and scream were actually tier 1, so that's 9 players who didn't succeed left.
Out of those 9, 6, crws, dubstep, borkum, benkai, laz and reita are asian. What does being a tier 1 Asian CS player really mean. Game and scene it's just not the same. Also many of the are IGL which is a role you usually shine later on your career
So that leaves Food, boaster and stellar. Victor was tier 2, boaster and stellar weren't really a thing but again, both shine in valorant because of their IGL skills which is a role acquired at a later age.
Which is when many of the valorant tier 1 players now left. Conclusion, we do not know what would have happened. Could have been ass because it's a different game, or maybe they would have been good
Literally what I'm saying. But are you trying to defend that if you don't win trophies at the age of 17 you won't have a successful career?
And how many come to mind who got good after 17? More than they did before being 17 or less?
14 is when monesy started to get known
I literally say 17 in my post
So if you're not a pro since you're 14 you're not good enough? How many players were successful before 17
You do realize most of those players are around 20 now so they were teenagers when they left cs right?
I'd say it's basically FNC +Suygetsu as sentinel at the moment. Many players who is unfair to leave out like Shao but idk how to fit them
Controller - Boaster
Initiator - Leo
Flex - Chronicle
Duelist - Derke
Sentinel - Suygetsu
So? Kingg was literally the best player of that same tournament statistic wise while Igling. Plus that play was on chamber which is no longer a thing
Ardis is not a S tier player on any agent other than Jett, his fragging ability is significantly worse and his utility is not good at all either.
I do not like Victor but he is a much better flex than Ardis. But if we're talking about Americas it's gotta be kingg imo
Fut are cracked af and have a great chance of making Tokyo actually. Much better than what they did at lock in, first lan event for all of them
Or you could also look at last years tier 2 champions https://www.vlr.gg/167372/fut-esports-vs-100-thieves-champions-tour-2023-lock-in-s-o-paulo-omega-qf
The winner of the first split tier 2 is also at tier 1, I'm sure you do know Twisten who actually beat Alfajer on that tournament. But that is not good talent is it?
Are any of those 3 "upcoming"?
Also now that you mention Mistic at Apeks, Keiko is a great young promise
That is literally like saying NA's upcoming talent are Shazham and Dapr
It's okay if you do not know the scene
This question gets asked every week xD
Ik it looks weird but it's simply that the system can't properly rank the newly formed cores until they play more games, so basically teams who are older and have played more are higher until it stabilizes.
You can't make a system who ranks the teams based on 2 games and then expect it to be consistent over time
Someone’s still salty about that loss
He needs to get comfortable and they should def play him every map specially since forsaken also seems better on killjoy
biggest? maybe
only? hell nah

Well, there are 4 other subs ready to go in at any moment. So if they didn't think he was good the replacement wouldn't be too hard
I just meant don't celebrate too early because the season is long
Maniek dropped 50
Cloud actual team carry
They were 1 1vs 2 away from getting 2-0d. Isn't that a bit too close for your taste?
What about the giants game
Sen does not make money based on winning
sick back from prison or from where? xD
They literally didn’t wanna be in franchise
