Gambit is the team of the year.

posted about 2 years ago

Do not take this the wrong way. But sentinels was not the best team for the first half of the year. Definitely the best team in NA but since there were no international competition till Iceland. Hard to say they were the best team of the first half of the year with the only competition they were playing were within their region. Just my opinion.

I think Gambit was the best team all year. Would be even more impressive if they made Iceland but they made Berlin and champions and were 1st or 2nd in both events.

It’s easier for europe just due to ping situations as europe being a smaller continent. Someone from NA who is west coast queuing or playing against a central team will get 60 or higher ping as the others will get 20.

posted about 2 years ago

There is simply not enough players for it be based on state province. West coast immortal/radiant queues are dead. Everyone plays central. As a Canadian myself I don’t think there is even enough Canadians for a league to be created for just Canada. More people live in California than our entire country lol.

NA is just too big to have leagues. You have 3-4 regions and a few teams qualify for each region for
Playoffs but then how do they play each other on fair terms? A central team will get like 20 ping to a server where west coast people will get 60.

Unfortunately I have to be more conservative with my money and got to watch how much I spend. If I could sell the skins I would probably change my mind.

I’m talking about people who buy like every bundle or every other bundle that comes out. I’ve bought a few skins myself but I know people who spent like 600-700 dollars on this game.

posted about 2 years ago

I feel bad for people who genuinely waste money on Valorant skins but hey maybe it’s just me.

I did say I saw it on the Reddit comments

People who think what codey has done is funny are the same people who think tiktoks about stupid kids spilling shit on the floor at the grocery store are funny, if you're causing inconvenience to other people for no fucking reason you're nothing more than an immature asshole.

Saw this comment on the Reddit post. Pretty accurate if you ask me. Tbh I don’t even really know who codey is or why he gained a following. Guess he seeks relevancy and attention.

Look at sports, no issues there, look at cs, no issues there. Guess riot is just a little slow.

posted about 2 years ago

I don’t see him playing pro Valorant

posted about 2 years ago

Majority of NA players tbh
Just flashy plays

Yeah In group stages

posted about 2 years ago

Probably would have been higher if Sentinels played

posted about 2 years ago

Harmful will never get on a team haha. Most known stream sniper in the game.

posted about 2 years ago

Lol baseball, hockey, football, and basketball are all having full crowds and fans with no issues. Hockey requires you to have a negative Covid test or vacciné card to go into the arena. Assume basketball is the same. Riot could do the same if they wanted. They’re just a progressive company who hears Covid and hides in a corner.

Yeah I know I’m just saying I feel like 2 of them will either be in NA or EU and 1 will be in Korea or in the Asia region. Or will be all 3 in a different region.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah who knows. I know there was talks of blast worlds for cs being held in Bueno Aires but they said they aren’t having a crowd for this event which sucks. But there was also talks of Argentina being added to the tour for Blast next year so who knows.

Knowing riot it is most likely they will have 1-2 events in either NA or EU and 1 in Korea possibly.

posted about 2 years ago

Reminds me of the Atlanta braves and Washington nationals crowds from the World Series (ik you probably don’t follow) but when they clinched the World Series and won on the road. Their home stadium was packed to the brim with fans watching at the stadium and it went nuts when they won.

posted about 2 years ago

Riot could have easily had a crowd too. They just choose not to.

posted about 2 years ago

Well literally only Denmark has shitty and very biased crowds. Cologne and Katowice have great ones. Boston has the best crowd. Literally ever kill in the c9 Major you heard a roar from the crowd. Reminds me of watching a playoff game for baseball, hockey, pretty much every sport.

Blast was in talks to adding Argentina to the blast tour for cs btw

posted about 2 years ago

Unfortunately riot has a bias towards NA and will base things off where their highest amount of viewers are from

I think NA focuses and dedicates more to streaming than being a pro. At least that’s what it feels like sometimes.

posted about 2 years ago

I lose brain cells when I see some of the posts on here.

To be fair none of them really hit their peaks yet. Brehze was great 2018-2020 but definitely not his peak. I think the better words are to see what his peak could be if not better. Still has so much potential. Same goes for Ethan but Ethan quit before any of it could really take off. I do agree though 2021 wasn’t the best for Brehze and EG as a whole.

posted about 2 years ago

Those were the rumours. I mean most of the time when I go to DM. He’s on the server I’m on.

posted about 2 years ago

To be fair I feel like half of sentinels fanbase or at least a quarter of it are just strictly tenz fans. His fans treat him like he’s s1mple lol.

posted about 2 years ago

You can prepare all you want but if the players individually don’t show up on game day you won’t win. Can be said in all sports and games.

posted about 2 years ago

The rumours were
Brehze
Naf
Stewie
Cerq
fill in the void here

With Naf resigning with Liquid. I think the roster was now looking like Brehze, Stewie, Cerq, Autimatic, Rush/oBo. Tarik said he is dedicated to streaming right now so I don't see him joining but who knows.
I hope this roster still works out. Would hate to see Brehze leave.

It probably won't be there. Who cares for female val, overtime they will realize people won't care lol. CS was the same situation. The difference with female val is there are a lot of men claiming to be female playing in the leagues.

posted about 2 years ago

Idk I didn't watch the video. The title of the sub headline says "Country-based." I don't think there are enough Canadians to make an all Canadian league especially those vs west coast and east coast. Same can be said with the states. NA is just too big.

posted about 2 years ago

Don’t want to sound like it’s all Ethan’s fault but Ethan cucked the team at the beginning of the year when he left for 100T. Imo it was a scummy move on how he did it but Ethan left and after that they still looked good but Ethan was apart of the OG core. They showed potential had some heartbreaking losses and then Tarik stepped down and everything just fell apart there. Seems like they didn’t want to be there. Had great players on the roster but no chemistry no hype. Tarik was like the glue and hypeman of the team. Rest of the year was just awful but they did qualify for the major.

posted about 2 years ago

Brehze is the boy but man I want him to stay in CS. If he leaves EG idk how the Stewie roster with EG will look.

posted about 2 years ago

Brehze is top NA 5 player of all time

I don’t want him to join though because I want Stewie to join EG with him but we will see.

Hopefully oSee for liquid works well too. I think oSee is the best awp talent out there right now throughout all of CS. Can say I’m biased towards NA but the man went to Europe and still just dominated everyone.

Only time will tell my friend

posted about 2 years ago

Assuming NA will just be a league of its own. Don’t see a reason to have a Canadian and American League considering most teams have a mix between them.

Interesting to see how this will go and how teams are supposed to qualify.

posted about 2 years ago

Tbh I don’t know. I don’t know anyone who genuinely Cares about female Valorant. I remember female cs had a bunch of hype around it but eventually they made their scene into a meme and everyone stopped caring.

The best female Val team like you said is a t3 team overall.

posted about 2 years ago

To be fair, the teams you mentioned could be in VCT. They just aren’t good enough to qualify for the event.

posted about 2 years ago

Just the sad reality of the scuffed NA mindset.

posted about 2 years ago

I am honestly against g2 signing him. Don’t want to sound like a hater but I feel bad for those who are grinding premier and advanced just to get skipped over or not given an opportunity even though they have twice the level of experience compared to him. They just don’t have the Navi brand in their name.

posted about 2 years ago

It depends on when the Valorant bubble in NA bursts. It’s good right now but nothing lasts forever. When it does burst I feel like that is when players will start to switch back. It would be nice to see newcomers instead of players who are signed just off their status in CS and just cycling between NA Valorant rosters. The exact situation NA cs had.

posted about 2 years ago

M0nsey skipped the tier 2 level of cs and went straight to t1. I wonder how good he will do lol.

posted about 2 years ago

That is a point but even before they weren’t playing officials they were still on this full time schedule. I’m just saying it’s hard to manage both. You can’t full time stream and also be a pro and expect to succeed. TSM hasn’t done Anything since the game came out.

posted about 2 years ago

I don’t know the exact number, but players on the Sentinels and TSM rosters like Shazham, Subroza, Wardell all pretty much stream full time. Just if you compare it to the other regions especially the regions doing well at champions. The amount of time NA puts into streaming vs them is a lot to a little and the results are showing.

If you want to compete at the highest level, being pro should be your first priority, not streaming. It isn’t a bad thing if you would rather be a streamer but you can’t do both.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah it seems like NA VAL has created a circle for itself just like NA CS where it’s the same players just cycling between rosters and no one new gets a chance or opportunity. I feel like in NA VAL it could be worse because there is no league system. As I’m sure you know, pro play/league play is a lot different from just playing pugs or ranked. So just signing some pug star on ranked can be a high risk low reward situation.

posted about 2 years ago

The problem with NA VAL is egos (especially within their own scene) and streaming. It seems to me that pros care more about streaming and their reputations more than winning. You can’t full time stream and be a pro. Really hard to balance both. I get there is a player break coming up but these things been happening since the start. The same problems happening with NA CS happening in NA VAL.
