I just mean Tier two in regards to not being in franchise. I know they’ve always played at Tier 1 level.

I just want to point out that G2 don’t get enough props for their year so far. Even if they bomb out of champs (which I don’t they do) I would say that it shows a lot about NA Tier 2. The Guard core only made two changes coming into franchise and arguably Icy and leaf aren’t like 1 to 1 upgrades, but that just shows even more how good of a coach JoshRT is because he managed to scout 2 perfect pieces for their team.

Americas right now doesn’t seem to have abyss in the map pool and the others do for playoffs. I know it’s not much of a big advantage, but whatever teams show abyss in other regions is going to be disadvantaged by showing an extra map in their pool.

It’s just a cultural thing I think. Asia seems to stay divided by country and the people are more prideful of their respective countries. Europe obviously has some of that too, but I think it’s a lot more common in Western culture to not be so prideful in your own country.
