DRX is crumbling under the pressure again. They shouldve been aware of their comps weakness but now they look super shattered. They usually have so many contingencies for every single possibility but now theyre crumbling hard against ZETA.
Players are whiffing shots, they arent taking enough map control (since they have no sentinel this is super detrimental), and they look like they dont have any plans left to deal with any of Zetas counters

Completely agreed. Half the rounds optic is running around for a straight 20 seconds not knowing what to do. The other half is them telling yay to do something and the only reason they won today was because this was the one time everyone BUT yay was doing something

I honestly have no idea how ppl can keep saying that. Drx are most definitely the best team in masters rn. Optic played their best game yet and probably will be their best game for the rest of the tourney; today.
If drx is overrated then I have no idea what optic are cause I've never seen a more inconsistent team get praised so much to be the number 1 team in the world

When Trent didn't perform "oh he has no experience, he's a kid cut him some slack"
When tenz doesn't perform "tenz is so overrated, he's so bad a inconsistent, can never do anything for his team, only plays Jett"

Man when you don't perform you don't perform, excuses don't matter. Trent couldn't take it on stage? Doesn't matter, the dude just isn't on the same level as the international teams. Also NA trash region so ofc he's gonna go crazy against them

"could" though I doubt they would. Prxs playstyle is too much of s counter against tg. If it was optic then there's a chance but I don't it with the guard

posted about 2 years ago

BR aren't touting themselves as the best region unlike NA who haven't done shit the past year
Victor getting COVID wasn't an excuse cause the guys lows are still the same as his performance in Berlin
Sen don't even practice, tho of they did I think they'd still be top in NA
C9 are just a mess, so many problems and honestly idk how Vs didn't roll them.

He said EU, those teams are all not EU other than acend, though I don't think acend were ever good.
Somehow every team they played just got hard nerfed as if they laced the opponents'drinks with smth. Tl just completely broke down after being favourites. acend were gonna lose their first match to br but because of a harmless camera they were able to come back after still almost losing with a 7 round lead. Half their players don't show up when they need to, and their strategies are mediocre at best. Even if zeek were in to form, their biggest ace in champions(starxo) want fragging anyway so I doubt they'd make it through playoffs against FPX, FNC, g2.
Sry I'm just still pissed that they won champs

PRXs style is far too scrappy and chaotic for the guard to properly be able to counter. They have a heavy counterstrat style and they just aren't able to counterstrat a style like this. Their Comms are also a strength but it gets destroyed by the constant chaos.
Unlucky matchups I'd say for tg

wait that is the dumbest take ive ever heard, I dont even think optic are a good team and i still dont agree with that statement

posted about 2 years ago

true

posted about 2 years ago

agreed except the last part, it definitely feels like everytime i dont watch the team im rooting for they just lose. I didnt watch SEN v TL and they lost, I didnt watch FNC v KRU they lost, I didnt watch V1 vs C9 they lost.
I watch Optic v C9 they win, I watched V1 v Optic, I watched XIA v Optic (the FIRST time, I didnt watch the second and i think you see the pattern)

posted about 2 years ago

theyre great but the problem is the time gives away the map count and it also gives away the winner near the end

posted about 2 years ago

no dont look at the results. Every morning i watch without knowing who wins the matches, i make sure i dont open twitter or vlr before ive watched the matches

posted about 2 years ago

but i mean do you need every single match to hit diff? You can watch some on VODs

posted about 2 years ago

xD damn thats true

posted about 2 years ago

nah i think maybe at worst it would be a hard fought one but i dont think there would be a world in which fpx or M3c didnt win

posted about 2 years ago

honestly i do think they were better than every other team except gambit and fnatic (when theyre doing).
M3C and FPX is just constant showings of almost perfect valorant and i love it. I dont know why it took as long as it did to finally get perfect gameplay and I really wanted to see what a game between 2 perfect teams would look like.

no it was just the fact that DRX were able to so easily counterstrat them. Zeta couldnt respond cause DRX is just so good at completely shutting down a teams strategy. They didnt come nearly as prepared as they thought they did and it cost them. We saw the same with NIP, they are quite a decent team but they got rolled by DRX because of DRXs potential to just not allow you to do the plays you want to. Theyre superior to every other team rn in the playoffs at taking space on the map and getting info, those two things combined is what makes them look like theyre smurfing.
The only thing DRX lack is a consistent showing of high skill gunplay. Their players are great but often times they just dont show up like they usually do or they need to do, and when all their players just arent feeling it, they easily fall apart as shown in the VS v GMB match

posted about 2 years ago

Im p sure rn KRU would make it for worst team alongside NIP. Also it isnt about them defeating the 2 worst teams, its about the way they played, the discipline they were able to play with, the cohesiveness in game plan and execution. Clearly if you dont think DRX right now have by far the highest chance to win the tourney out of the teams in playoffs then you just dont understand how to properly analyze the teamplay shown by the top teams.

posted about 2 years ago

I honestly think the guard isnt gonna win a match specifically because they got unlucky with the guaranteed opponents theyre facing. Theyll face Optic which im p sure are gonna roll them if they play like they did the other day against XIA, and then they have to go against most likely PRX or DRX, both of those teams being teams that could easily roll The Guard (more so PRX)
PRXs style is super aggressive and hard to counter with solid and cohesive teamplay which is what TG are so good at doing. Their prep and their good comms will be completely run over by PRX and the extreme speed and chaos that they cause in game.
So yea honestly if TG cant win against Optic, theres literally no hope of them getting to the finals, especially considering the fact that they dont have any LAN experience from any of their players.

you guys realize VODs are a thing right?
Turn off Twitter notifs, get off youtube, and watch the match first thing in the morning while having coffee or tea or sum shit

posted about 2 years ago

how is this in anyway hate? I think you ppl are just snowflakes. The guy is literally saying LOUD is getting overestimated cause NIP lost hard

posted about 2 years ago

Thing is i would agree with you but the problem is if the second place finish team "OnSlayers" from KR came to compete, i honestly dont know if they would really win anything spectacular. Though DRX themselves are most definitely cracked af

So Id say theres still a chance Loud are insane but i mean looking through their matches i definitely think that theyre getting overrated since theyre flashier than other regions and its just pure aggressiveness, which might be hard to deal with for a few rounds or a map, but after a bit will be adapted to by the best teams

DAMN sheeeee

posted about 2 years ago

not true, FPX and M3C and FNC at full force beats out literally the entire globe except maybe DRX

xD dude i legit burst out laughing reading this

typical western geographical knowledge

posted about 2 years ago

I think loud is overhyped specifically because theyre from brazil and they tend to really over do it with the predictions. I dont doubt theyre a good team but i mean zeta beat NIP and thats saying something. So honestly yea LOUD are probably really good but i think if TL play the way they played against XIA then theyll win no problem

...Xerxia literally was on par with TL? U gud?
For a region not nearly as supported as EMEA and NA, this was a great showing by the second seed.

posted about 2 years ago

True they looked really afraid of pushing and playing the way they usually do esp on Haven

posted about 2 years ago

Lowkey I really wanted Optic to lose so Chet would leave. Mans is a toxic influence for Val that no one wants to listen to. He doesnt have proper appreciation for the game and someone like that should not be at the helm of a team as powerful as Optic

posted about 2 years ago

...Im not gonna say anything cause you arent following my point

posted about 2 years ago

I guess the cringey comps are still too much for Chet to handle. The game just isnt complex enough so he cant create super complex strategies that will win them games. Oh well 2-0 for XIA again

posted about 2 years ago

man that was my first thought too but even this problem is too big for the indians, i think i might be doomed

posted about 2 years ago

did that already it didnt change anything

lemme try that actually

posted about 2 years ago

its been 3 days and thats what i thought at first but it doesnt seem like this problem is going away anytime soon

posted about 2 years ago

buddy i think youre looking at the beta timeline, switch over to alpha-01224 and the subsequent lines and youll see that Xerxia beat or stomp Optic out of the tournament in 4382 different timelines. If im not wrong were on track to that line since rn were on alpha-01221 which if everything goes according to plan in the next few hours should shift over to 1224

Yo someone pls dud im dyin over here im just trying to play some ranked but everytime i open valorant it goes to the RIOT GAMES screen with neon on it, the sound plays, and then the game just stays like that. The moment i click off or alt tab it will stop responding.
Ive tried reinstalling, updating drivers, changing fullscreen settings to windowed (though for some reason it stayed on fullscreen even when i booted), and ive also tried running it in compatibility mode + administrator

posted about 2 years ago

I honestly have no clue why you think that thats the case since clearly it isnt, its been shown time and time again that mechanically cracked players thrive in valorant
