The dude has always been so bad and the only actually good performance ive ever seen out of the guy was champions, so good to the point where they wont off the back of it. The dude is really not fit to be in a team that were claimed to be the top of the world

why Omen tho? Brimstone would be leagues better than Omen in any team that is focused on utility usage and combo plays which definitely seems to be the case with this comp

Honestly we have no confirmation yet but if it really is the case then its gonna kill val competitive really quickly. NA is the region with the most views in the world and them having this many teams cut out even if they might not be competitive is just detrimental to the streaming numbers, so no it definitely isnt for money but its just some more Riot negligence

I completely disagree with your take that eg is least likely.imo eg is most likely out of Sen and Faze. Both Sen and Faze are looking like they're by far the worst teams in the entire group stage, yes even worse than current form guard.
Faze and Sen both have faaaar too much inconsistency on their strats. They can't execute things with confidence and reliability unlike every other team in the tourney rn. I definitely think this match against eg was a worse showing from Sen compared to last week which is a shame since even with the performance from last week it would be super difficult to qualify.

Valorant has been around for a year (pro scene) and their peak is already half of CS's peak. CS has been around for so long, valorant will eventually surpass it, I'd say this year if Champions is stacked enough there's a possibility that it might reach near CS peak

That is very true though. People just don't wanna accept it cause it's sentinels. I don't know exactly what happened to him cause the thing is he used to be super consistent and his midrounding was insane. Sen used to be so successful solely off of the fact that shahz used to have the best counterstrating in the scene even tho they had no coach and he also had the best midrounding. Ppl often forego giving credit to sens strats but in all honesty their strats were so complimentary to shahzs mid rounding. They would poke holes throughout the opponent's defense so that they would be able to exploit certain areas and they would just explode onto wherever they were going. On the defense as well they tend to delay really hard which allowed the rotates and they never had to retake. The loss of zombs tho has clearly created a hole in their defense

C9 are looking more shaky than last time tho and Sen have a buffer in EG and Faze so I'd say they can at least make it in 4th. I think LG is probably gonna finish 2nd and C9 3rd.

A lot of NA teams especially recently have been coming up with a lot of strategy. Im surprised you came out with C9 cause I feel that C9 compared to optic and guard have really really weak strategic depth and theyre more just good at adapting to whatever happens like the old sentinels that used to dominate. It looked like they tried to pull out more strategy in their last match against optic and that was arguably their worst showing in the playoffs during stage 1.
Right now teams like EG, LG, XSET, NRG, and TSM are all showing a lot of strategy and planning and counterstrating. The one that really has caught my eye however is 100T. Their style of play is very similar to KR but they have a lot more adaptability which is amazing and they really are looking super hot rn and I honestly wouldnt be surprised if they make it out of groups 5-0 and make a run in playoffs potentially even qualify for masters.
yea nothing is wrong with optic using neon, im saying they used her on ascent which i find to be extremely weird and a waste of an agent cause Neon running around on a small map with a lot of corridors and corners feels like a stupid plan. Who knows they couldve been trolling or they could actually have been planning something

I keep hearing that statement so much and all the proof that people provide is like in the game against faze how yay wasnt the ONLY one fragging. Marved was also there with him and this becomes the reasoning as to why Optic dont need yay to frag. Thing is, to my memory everytime Yay doesnt absolutely go off or at the very least is having a good game (other than the match with DRX tho that was more yay getting avoided sooo...) Optic tend to lose.
Thing is with Yay is that theres almost never any games where he isnt at least second frag and that just means that its not that they dont need him to frag its more like they can always rely on him to frag.
So anyway i been wondering, what are all the games that Optic/Envy won even though Yay wasnt either fragging out or having a decent game?

The first 4 were already crazy pickups and alfajer was definitely not as unknown as all the others but Fearoth/Enzo definitely was a guy that was lurking in the shadows. Im surprised he isnt mentioned here cause the guy deserves better than to be stuck on a team like alliance
