NOBITA plays initiator Jinboong plays sentinels so the roles are different

posted 9 months ago

Depends on whether the zeta rumours are true or not( they are signing fennel trios)

posted 9 months ago

Can't be any better imo, gyen is a risky move but overall the best roster dfm ever come up yet

It probably mean they are ready, you need to look Zeta AC at premier without lefiedot and honeybunny, it's not great, meaning they are not ready to be released yet.

Expecting Honeybunny and lefiedot lft soon

Skrossi ever got an offer to japan?

posted 9 months ago

They're very underutilized indeed, to make matters worse the talents deserving tier 1 are scattered across teams ( NOBITA in SG , FL trios in FL, riddle kids, reject core) so it's actually not an easy task for zeta and dfm to assemble their rosters.

In a perfect world jp talent pool can fit 2 spots given to them and might reach 2 and a half or even 3 if we really want to stretch it, but we're in reality 😂.

  1. Management by both dfm and zeta are shit
  2. Talents are there it's just very dispersed across tier 2 teams
  3. Playerbase not that big but growing (idk lmao)
  4. Idk lol help me list more 😅
  5. Esports more like spectator sport so doesn't translate to playerbase getting bigger
posted 9 months ago

Tbf to build a solid foundation you need a solid playerbase that's what india lacked tbh

posted 9 months ago

Foundation as in for the future and the scene overall. Not just the players.

posted 9 months ago

It doesn't have to be abundant, it's just needs to be sufficient, that alone will lay the foundation.

posted 9 months ago

The only players I know from Indian cs are marzil and forsaken and both are bad now, that's a very bad foundation to start on

posted 9 months ago

That's the complain I always have in my mind about how people view japanese valorant so can't say I don't get where you're coming from, the comparison is just incredibly unfair

posted 9 months ago

You guys are too esports-centric

Geez bro thanks for stating the obvious

posted 9 months ago

Now the question is how do you get them to play?

posted 9 months ago

Good analysis brother

I should do analysis like this too about japan so hopefully we can dispel some stigmas about japanese valorant

posted 9 months ago

Tbh the gap between SG ( 3rd place team) against Fennel Riddle and even Murash ( 4th place) are pretty far, so I can feel that sentiment too.

posted 9 months ago

Joseph (rimu) confuses me tbh, unlike his peers this guy's record is almost nonexistent, twitter clip if any dates way back. There's something he/scarz/Striderz are hiding from public ( or I'm just unaware of how good this guy is.

posted 9 months ago

Should I feel happy the fact that SG can win scrims against GE , a franchising team. Or should I be a bit upset that SG is called a low tier 2 team 😅, either way its just scrims anyways

posted 9 months ago

Zeta vs dfm, or rather there shouldn't have been one in the first place, the fact that this rivalry exists only showcases how incompetent zeta's management truly is.

posted 9 months ago

I would replace:
oitan with hiroronn or Yatsuka
Dep with Xdll or NOBITA

posted 9 months ago

hi

posted 9 months ago

Those 2 teams you mentioned have a flavour of management's stupidity running on the team.. it's not necessarily because they're bad...

Also they bring in views

BBL going international is very weird move considering their region's talent pool

posted 9 months ago

https://x.com/LOB__LOB/status/1830452672543232299

It's over a month now, but yeah, this might be part of the reason why DFM decided to not go with him

posted 9 months ago

Didn't Lob just suffer injuries?

posted 9 months ago

What happened to Chinese Dota tho, it seems like the region just declines further and further

posted 9 months ago

Bad example, boom on home crowd...

It's not as bad as he makes it out to be ( maybe, unless he showed some stats) , but the growth is slow af

posted 9 months ago

You forgot 2018 and 2020 where G2 reached top 4 😅. But yeah LEC declined since then. Definitely want to see them do better tho

posted 9 months ago

Sad, definitely want to see G2 in playoffs

posted 9 months ago

Heartbreak

posted 9 months ago

If the pause never happened do you guys think G2 would have a chance?

posted 9 months ago

There was no bug according to officials apparently

posted 9 months ago

So are they in a better position rn? I want G2 to win 😭

posted 9 months ago

Wait G2 can do that?

posted 9 months ago

Is that normal in league?

posted 9 months ago

Why did they pause the game?

posted 9 months ago

Lowkey rooting for g2 rn

posted 9 months ago

Depends on how scarz perform now that both ejay and adrnking alr finished their visa ( I assume), scarz is definitely getting that buff, but if they managed to lose then bullco is not him lmao

posted 9 months ago

Doombros to dfm pls pls

I think johnta or euler should be dragged to tier 1 imo, they've been stuck in vcj too long alr

posted 9 months ago

Which is why I'm considering on giving carlao another chance ( I'm secretly zeta's management), but kicking hiroronn out is definitely bad for the team.

posted 9 months ago

That's just the scene in general tho, that's not to say it will just remain the same.

I can make arguments as to how this split's imports will be worse than previous splits(especially those on lesser known teams) . I can also argue why Japan next split will rely even less on imports next split(tldr Japan's increasing amount of talents replacing imports) and how it will hurt teams ( risks in taking in unproven talents) but benefitting the scene in the long term.

As long as not every team imports 2 players and the JP talent pool actually widens ( which it does; and orgs needs to utilize this fact) I think we are going to be in a good position

posted 9 months ago

Nah bro, CGZ is bout to be exposed in both Apac play ins and Apex after this the level of play are just different.

(maybe they can do slightly better in Apex but definitely not Redbull)

posted 9 months ago

Mametu fall asleep
Yowamu and Ask busted their ass
Team Z has no coach iirc, so them geting close on CGZ is actually kinda crazy
if they actually didn't choke on the first 2 maps we would have a very different discussions now.
