dude leaf can't play shit outside of duelist
did you see that guy on viper against DRX at lock in??
placed his wall wrong every single round

posted 10 months ago

saya is literally the best duelist in korea, in competition for the best in pacific.

posted 10 months ago

so cap lol

posted 10 months ago

not to disagree with your claim as a whole but DK kind of destroyed BLD (though they lost to bonkers lol)

posted 10 months ago

No sleeper teams my ass
100t 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

posted 10 months ago

drx might be shit now but even they didn't get grouped lmaoaoo

posted 10 months ago

NAVI aren't making top two for shit

posted 10 months ago

unfortunately now that emea has 5 slots navi has like a 50% chance to qualify
at least their fans don't cope as hard as 100t

posted 10 months ago

idk but surely EDG players are paid the most

  1. DRX - Losing to TS 0-2, losing to EG and losing to PRX three times, once with a reverse sweep, stax with severe underperformances. Lost a year-long utter dominance over Pacific.
  2. NAVI - Clearly was the worst of the final four teams at LOCK//IN, but to bomb out at Tokyo like this is still crazy.
  3. LOUD - Least affected, but losing to EG in that fashion is bad news. Dropping a map to EDG (so far) is also bad news. Putting aspas on Neon repeatedly is extremely questionable.

Imagine if instead of Tuyz and Cauanzin they had SEN Sacy and SEN pANcada.
This is certainly a Champions-winning roster.

posted 11 months ago

not hot take: davai is still shit one performance against drx doesn't change shit
hot take: smth only shined in pacific because drx was shitty and there was no competition

posted 11 months ago

maybe try running Rb's neon too and not be dogshit at choosing maps idk

posted 11 months ago

the drx that was "fine" was consistently the best team in pacific and outside of copenhagen, the only team in pacific that could win international events.
this drx lost regionals, let fucking ASE get 17 rounds, and lost to third seed in americas.
they are not "fine," if they were fine then a lot of people would still be considering them favorites to win Tokyo.

posted 11 months ago

it shouldn't have been a regional event unless DRX absolutely destroy the other teams
and yet they got smushed by a team that would get destroyed by fnatic/loud

posted 11 months ago

even if that happens NAVI fans will still unironically think they're the best team in the world

posted 11 months ago

nah t1 is screwed unless they beat navi (like a 40% chance)

posted 11 months ago

come back to this thread after DRX vs ASE

posted 11 months ago

there is only truth in what i say

posted 11 months ago

painfully watched through ASE's matches in CN and they look better than DRX's current state
if DRX doesn't shape back up since their game against PRX some other team (FUT) will unironically qualify with ASE.

posted 11 months ago

most other international events have been inconsiderate of pacific as a whole

lost faith in drx after their losing twice to prx

Allow me to reiterate something for you: Attacking Soul Electronic Sports' prized flex player, Zhang Juncheng, is not to be trifled with. Better known as hfmi0dzjc9z7, Zhang Juncheng is a uniquely flexible player, going between any role in the book with ease. Their last bout with EDG, though ending in a tragic 0-3 loss, was only made mildly competitive by hfmi0dzjc9z7's heroics. From Sage, to Raze, to Sova; this man looks to have mastered the game to a level only comparable to T1 Faker in Riot Game's flagship title, League of Legends. To discredit this group as "free", "easy", or "lucky" for DRX is to vastly underestimate the oriental impact that hfmi0dzjc9z7 and friends can have. Constantly viewed as weaker due to their constant losses in China, they are quite frankly mischaracterized. In fact, the Chinese scene is SUCH a strong system, that the competition that hfmi0dzjc9z7 and co have honed their skills against is wildly superior to franchised teams. I believe DRX will withdraw from the tournament after encountering the force that is hfmi0dzjc9z7. Go and have your fun. It will end soon enough: 9 days time, to be exact.

it's not an overreaction for drx at the very least
they just haven't been the same since lock//in

posted 11 months ago

Don't try it bro, I'm Korean-American

posted 11 months ago

I don't think they're bad at all, but they've lost their overwhelming dominance in Pacific that they had last year.
From there, they should've be aiming for the best, but they haven't done so.

posted 11 months ago

BuZz is not good on raze and we saw that last year. I think that's the primary reason why they brought in foxy9, despite BuZz's crazy jett.

posted 11 months ago

because like EMEA, Pacific has a lot of teams that are just terrible

posted 11 months ago

it's undeniable that DRX are getting worse and worse after LOCK//IN, even if they were "saving strats" for some of their games. (losing against TS, letting T1 get two maps, losing against PRX twice???

the issue is stax

  • he used to be a fragging igl, now he's just an igl
  • he's getting picked off so fucking early every round
  • his flashes are shit and it's allowing opers to get easy picks
  • he's overrotating the team every time. i can't count the number of times teams are getting a free site

i have full confidence that DRX can recover from this embarrassment of a tournament but stax really needs to shape up if they want a trophy this year.
on a better note, BuZz has only been getting better since last year (still has a shit raze) and MaKo is as consistent as ever.

posted 11 months ago

not a fluke lol 100t are just terrible

posted 11 months ago

👍

holy shit they've created a monster

tell me do you genuinely believe prx will win against drx
or are ya'll hard coping

I don't doubt that ZETA can bounce back from a tough position. But when you have a horde of people, basically yesmans, who will say "GG" no matter how badly the team performs, it is impossible to improve. Shame, disappointment, expectations, all of these contribute to improvement. This is why those who fail can get back up. But not ZETA.

There is a reason why I play in Singapore server despite Tokyo server being "non-toxic" like most people say. It doesn't matter if you lose 0-13, or 12-14, or 22-24, the game always ends with GG. That's good right? No toxicity at all. No passion at all. It feels like they don't even care about the game and want it to end as quickly as it can.

There is a reason why Blue Lock was made. Some Japanese people realize this but they are looked down upon because god forbid, why would you have a different opinion when everyone is saying GG? They are the 0.1% of people.

Can't believe I have to admit this, but watching North American challengers is more fun than watching any game with a Japanese team. Japanese teams heard "Pro players play a bit slowly" and took it to heart. That's why their games are a borefest and they lost a lot of rounds due to time.

And it hurts more when the scene used to be relevant at one point, and now the teams are losing to T1. ZETA got passed around like a toy and lost to almost all the teams. And DFM?

I give up. I'm beat. There is no hope for this region unless something magical happens and a team steps up who have ego and that relentless to win. And not just look good in front of the camera so all the fangirls can go kyaaaa.
