Fixed ty for pointing it out
Sorry for a late edition this week. I’m visiting family and had to do a lot of this from my phone, which is a LOT slower than doing it on a computer
Golden Kamuy S1 and/or S3 ED appearance in op/ed of the week when
I've seen only a handful of posts of people making forum posts about various topics in the Valorant esports scene. Do you mind linking some of them?
I'd speculate that the other broadcast talents had their games already planned and the two of them filled in for someone that had a schedule change last minute, allowing the two of them got to slot in and cast a game. In OWL they were big names on the analysis desk and really carved out their identities with that, so the two of them joining the desk for VCT is kind of just the same thing but in a different game
Since we have the Stars Horizon Female lineup in our database as Stars Horizon Fem, it'll stay that way until someone from the team requests that the name be changed to Stars Horizon Vênus
correct, but it's technically a Version1 announcement as well ¯_(ツ)_/¯
oops you're right
the wording of the tweet made me think for some reason that they were new additions
Supposedly Iceland is quite convenient for delivering broadcasts to other continents because of the time zone. I think it affects Japan the most since for Champions a lot of the games would begin after midnight there.
There hasn't been any mention of a crowd for Iceland, but it's still something that's being considered for the second Masters event.
I know Wizzrobe is still playing under Envy atm but that could change
should be fixed now
Considering that Oxygen's NA team is called Oxygen academy and not Oxygen esports, there's a chance they can be the one to buy Rise. A bit more unlikely is a team that previously fielded a Valorant roster re-entering the game (think SSG/eUnited/Beastcoast).
Outside of those names, it's anyone's guess really.
I'm not that much of a sports manga/anime fan but Wind Breaker was really enjoyable
If anything I'd give the characters some of the best style/drip of any show/series I've experienced
:)
There's no way a Solo Leveling anime comes out unless it's done entirely by a Korean or Chinese animation studio imo since Japan isn't portrayed in a very positive light in the series
Most of the time we base our flag choice on the players, who are almost always the primary subjects of the articles
The only practical exception that I can think of is if it's an entire team disbanding or being transferred to another org, then the flag will represent what flag is used for the team on the site
As of now, PureR is still on XSET. He was reportedly in discussions with DZ a while back, but they were supposedly discontinued.
W + Happy Holidays :)

model D wireless because that's the only mouse I can comfortably use that's not a brick like the ec1
I never said that. All I was pointing out was what would have to happen if MIBR were to actually jump into the BR scene.
If anything, considering that IMT currently have 2 active players I'd say it's likely we get some sort of announcement from them soon
it's weird because if MIBR were to enter Valorant, IMT would have to disband their male NA roster since Riot doesn't allow one org to own multiple VCT rosters in different regions
Being stressed about finals is completely natural. If anything being overconfident might be a cause for worry imo
My finals were all of last week + earlier this week and now I'm officially done with my degree :)
I do my best to cover stories/moves from other regions + not regularly covered NA/EU stuff in News Almost Missed (sorry it's late this week btw, I was swamped with a paper that took FOREVER to finish), but sometimes there are things that I just flat out miss because I'm simply not as acquainted with that region, or they're rumors that I'm unable to confirm.
Still, the individual region news posts are pretty neat to read. Great job on them!
Maybe they can become contributors to News Almost Missed one day... :)
W
not exactly a W this time imo since it's late
Thanksgiving in the U.S. plus other writers being busy with their own projects unfortunately equals delays in getting these stories out
I wrote the HEET part earlier in the week before the announcement but didn't check if there was an update prior to publishing. My bad. Thank you for pointing it out though!
Thanks for pointing it out! It should be fixed now
De nada!
:)
^^ this
TSM would either have to bring Drone back to the active lineup or keep hazed until VCT competition came to a close
The only non-Chinese/US based orgs in OWL are the Paris Eternal (DM-Esports) and Seoul Dynasty (Gen.G)
As for going to NA Valorant for a bigger salary, that depends if they can get a spot on a top team
That part was something that was debated on a bit tbh. The announcement says LATAM, but in the press release it says:
We want to build a sustainable ground for many years to come, and we’re planning new headquarters in the region to start off a full-scale Ninjas in Brazil division
So we figured it'd just be best to use LATAM since Brazil geographically is part of the Latin American region, despite LATAM and Brazil having their own respective circuits for VCT
According to Jady, they will still play Red Bull under NIP
long live gMd's Brimstone
I've been around on enigma's websites for quite a while (since TFTV for the OGs). I eventually decided to start doing roster moves since I really enjoyed playing TF2, but my interest for the game eventually fizzled out, and at some point I jumped ship to Overwatch and over.gg, did that for a bit until I got burned out and needed to take a step back and focus a bit more on my university studies. Shortly after Valorant (and this site) launched, I joined the writing team and that's what I've been doing alongside finishing up my degree. Dunno if that makes me a "veteran" or anything of this, but it's weird to think that I've been doing writing related stuff since 2017.
Some less important stuff: I did some writing gigs for TeamViral (if any EU CS people remember that org from like 2018, idk if they were even notable tbh) and another Valorant news site that no longer exists (which was actually where I met Eutalyx). I also coached in T3 Overwatch for a few months but couldn't stand Blizzard's terrible format from top to bottom (also I wasn't interested in continuing to donate free time when I could be doing other stuff for myself).
in our discord we have a channel where you can request name changes for the site
Correct :) I used to go by the alias Koncept but that was a looooong time ago
Bind is a great map because every agent can excel on it in some fashion, but the problem with it is that everyone has played the map so much that people have become bored of it
If you enjoy it keep watching it there's not really a speedrunning tactic or optimized method for watching all the anime. Just watch what seems like it might be interesting
