It's a lose-lose situation either way. If the match is replayed and the teams that won end up losing then they'll obviously be pissed, but on the other hand the server issues that affected the first day do warrant matches being replayed in a sense.

Nothing new really. Late last month he was supposedly in talks with the Knights but he hasn't made an appearance in their lineup unless he's competed under one of the two odd aliases (badplayer101/dsavage3000) that were in the Knights lineup in the October Knights Monthly Gauntlet.
Just a heads up to our BR readers: I watched the Spanish stream (since I'm semi-fluent in Spanish but not Portuguese), so that's why there aren't any clips from the Brazilian casters/stream of the event
<3
10 ping and 0 ping are completely different
I propose that we call events like this LANlines where teams are playing in one central location but the game itself takes place in an online server
Also rip my sleep schedule lmao
Great Pretender had a fantastic English dub cast. Kind of a shame that the ending wasn't as big as I thought it could be
Special mention to Cowboy Bebop since it's got Brimstone's VA (Steven Blum) who voices the main character Spike
Nobody is safe from the mods
We 100% need more smeag cups
Franchising both helps and hurts imo. For teams that are in the "elite"/tier 1 bracket of teams, they're provided a good opportunity to get their players playing in tournaments with lots of viewers while standardizing competition throughout the year. For teams that aren't in the league, they're just kind of left to fend for themselves and play whatever tournaments are left over, which there aren't that many of right now.
In NA it seems like there's just NSG and Knights and maybe random one-off tournaments where you'll get good teams showing up just for that event. Getting a few more (reputable) tournament organizers into the game so that there's a fairly healthy variety of options for up and coming teams in t2/t3 to prove their worth in is important.
That's just my opinion though. You're free to agree or disagree.
I cannot wait for Chapter 20 to be animated it's going to be great
If you've read CSM you know what scene(s) I'm talking about
Basically it's a player who is a higher rank taking someone who is a lower rank up to a rank that is beyond the lower ranked player's skill level (at least the rank that is determined by the matchmaking system)
This is actually the case. Sorry if there was any confusion caused by the title!
I wanted to get an article out quickly since my laptop was on the verge of running out of battery charge while I was writing it
everyone has decided to announce stuff today idk
Hello readers and commenters of News Almost Missed! Over the past few months that this series has been going, we've made slight alterations to the format to make things a bit more streamlined and easier for people to read. With that in mind, I have a few questions about the format that I'd like your opinion on:
Hunter x Hunter is by far my single favorite show but I also really enjoyed the kizumonogatari movies (and the entire monogatari series as a whole but the movies were incredible imo)
I remember the LATAM finals had really cool visuals in the studio it was held in. After that I wondered how Riot could one-up itself, and it's crazy how they've managed to pull this off. Hopefully Champions has a live crowd and similar visuals to this event because it'd make an already hype event that much better
Correct. However, from my research Asuna hasn't been to an international event before
It is! In the past we've gotten requests to cover the LATAM region a bit more but have only been able to do it in a very limited capacity. I'm able to read and write in Spanish but only at a basic level, unfortunately not to a point where I can write full articles yet though :/
However I've lately been catching small bits of games and have gravitated towards KRÜ partly because Klaus was one of my favorite players from the LATAM/SA Overwatch scene
Taimou reads News Almost Missed? That's pretty cool
I also changed the wording to (hopefully) be a bit more accurate
Thank you! These recap articles are fun to do but getting up to date on happenings in multiple regions around the world can be rather time consuming
I swear my brain sees it one way but my fingers just type it another way at times
Also thank you!
To sort of add on to this, Japan has had a very strong FGC scene, which has been helped by the fact that a lot of big fighting game esport titles are produced over there. I'm not that familiar with their history in FPS games, but I think the most recent attempt that was made (prior to the release of Valorant) at breaking into the Japanese market was Overwatch. It did okay but a lot of OW talents eventually left to play in other regions swapped games
People who are knowledgeable of Japanese presence in Crossfire (or another FPS title I didn't mention) may prove my point wrong, but I'm unfortunately not that familiar with Crossfire's history
Keep the classic free but have a 150-200 credit upgrade to unlock the right click
They may be gone, but Brimstone Gaming will always be #1 in our hearts
I just realized that they didn't have enough circuit points to qualify even for LCQ, which I incorrectly stated previously
The last part was updated to accurately reflect their situation
I'm about to be 0-4 in predictions if LG don't win this last map
Might as well see how many predictions I end up getting wrong at this rate
Split is a great map :)
SONIQS TAKE MY ENERGY
I know I'm not the only one on the writing team that wishes an avalanche of team announcements didn't drop shortly before or the day of VCT
But that should be expected after so many teams (ones that attended and ones that missed out) made roster changes after Iceland
I swear I had that right before publishing...
Fixed it
Since Cloud is currently the only member of NAVI and because he's the primary subject of the article, I decided to make the title's country flag Russia's. That can change in the future depending on who joins though
This felt like a finals match tbh
I've never been happier that my pickem bracket has been destroyed

I spent way too much time on this
post stuff that gets upfragged, get stars
I finished a final right before working on this...
dicey is a possibility since he's not on the starting 100T roster
Aproto got 22 kills in the first half of Split on Cypher
The definition of built different
I thought it'd be close but I didn't expect multiple overtime rounds on Haven
ah shit forgot that ty

SEN 2-0 FaZe
Calling map 1 to be close (maybe 13-10) but I don't see SEN losing this
Wish we had this matchup for the grand finals :/
this has indeed aged very poorly
