Optic might let bind through depending on how their scrims go the next few days. Their icebox has looked absolutely horrible so unless they work on that I’d rather let them play bind against Prx than icebox.

I’m giving you one more reply and not responding because you are hurting my head. Marved has to constantly be giving his teammates supports with his smokes as well as his abilities depending on the agent, whether it be attack side or defense side in addition to whatever else he may be doing. Yay plays chamber which means he can just go kill and not have to worry about supporting his teammates while getting the help of his teammates(crashies/victor flashing for him, dogging for him, Marved recovering smoke) to get the angle for his op/rifle to get an advantage for his peeks as well as having a get out of jail free card. Yays job is hard but he consistently gets help from his teammates to get those opening engagements. Bro and what we are saying about the peaks, I never said judge a player off one game, but that was never what you said, you said yays peak smurfs marved which is not true at all. Marved has shown on LAN his peak is as good if not better than yays and your definition of what a peak is, is wrong.

posted about a year ago

I generally think you don’t understand what a peak is. If you have like 200 ACS over 6 series and then randomly you have a 280 ACS series then that series was your peak. You can’t use an entire tournament and say that’s a peak, that’s literally just yay being yay, he’s consistently good, we could say when yay went 31-9 against 100T that was a peak in his Berlin tournament, because it was. And the controller thing I’m not even gonna argue with you on because you bringing up ranked is all I needed to read to know you don’t understand this game.

posted about a year ago

Bro when you say peaks, that generally means a map or series, not a whole tournament. And if you’re referring to this tournament marved and yays stats are pretty close not yays being “much better” than marveds. I agree both roles are hard like you mentioned but imo controller is definitely a harder role, which is why typically you don’t see controllers have a high ACS like duelists/chambers do.

posted about a year ago

When I say peaks I’m talking about individual games/series not entire tournaments. Like how Marved at his peak got the kill record on LAN even on controller. And if you take off yays worst day ye his numbers will be better than marveds but it’s the same vice versa, if u take off marveds worst day his numbers would be better than yay. You can’t just say “if you ignore their bad performance then their stats are insane”, bad games happen and you can’t just ignore em. You know what I mean?

posted about a year ago

I’d say they are pretty close when at their peaks, Marved even has the kill record on LAN, yay is in a position where he gets setup to get kills compared to marved’s role, so I think marved is more impressive in that sense but I think both players are amazing

Bro makes FNS seem like a fragging IGL

When I see Wardell play with him it’s usually just Wardell carrying him. But it’s just ranked so u can’t really tell how good someone is just from that because it seems like Stewie is just playing to have fun not really tryharding or anything

I just hope it’s a good game, idrc who wins I like them both

This is basically the summary every time George is mentioned lmao

posted about a year ago

Ye a lot of the takes are delusional/troll but it’s funny seeing people who take those guys seriously. I was just tryna make this thread because George makes it seem like Wardell said the most outrageous things ever when a lot of it was true lol, he’s just tryna get clicks for his article

LMAO probably

this was the original tweet but he had hella replies to it and a massive thread

posted about a year ago

Nah bro you can’t talk to friends about your opinion especially when you think teams/your region aren’t that good. That’s going way too far

posted about a year ago

Ye he doesn’t have the right to call everyone shit, nobody does no matter how good they are. But in this case what he said really wasn’t that bad and a lot of it was actually true and misinterpreted/misconstrued by George which is why people are getting mad at George for trying to create drama from nothing. You understand what I mean?

posted about a year ago

I hate when it’s this time of the month for him bro, just hurts my brain reading what he says

posted about a year ago

Bro when someone with a check mark replies to him on Twitter in defense of Wardell he keeps backtracking, dude is so fake

posted about a year ago

Lol at least you’re honest

posted about a year ago

Bro do you even read before commenting “Alot of people think Wardell calling everyone “braindead” means that they are shit, nah he’s just saying most people in NA don’t use their brains which is true”

posted about a year ago

I ain’t tryna dickride Wardell it’s just pissing me off that George is trying make drama from something that literally could be discussed on stream and literally no one would care. You know what I mean?

posted about a year ago

Ong

posted about a year ago

All the pros besides like Tenz will shit talk the scene/players while streaming bro, there ain’t that much of a difference. And I guarantee your favorite player says a lot worse in private dms. Wardell and Stewie probably do too, but I’m saying in this specific case it really isn’t as bad as people are trying to make it

posted about a year ago

Lol

posted about a year ago

I don’t get why he’s trying to make such a big deal out of this. Like if Wardell and Stewie said these exact things on stream it would be completely normal. Reading back wardells and stewies dms, what Wardell said wasn’t even that bad. A lot of people think Wardell calling everyone “braindead” means that they are shit, nah he’s just saying most people in NA don’t use their brains which is true. Outside of Optic there doesn’t seem to be any other strategically good teams which is why we have a different team qualify with Optic every masters. And people seem to be using the argument that he’s disrespecting the game saying there’s no skill. Bro if you read the message he just says that he thinks using your brain in this game is more important then skill. Stewie is the one who said the game requires no skill which Wardell replied nah I just think using your brain is more important. George just wants to start drama for no reason when these dms aren’t even that bad. Pro players have even come out and said that this isn’t as big of a deal as they are trying to make it(L1nk, Nukkye, others)

posted about a year ago

Yep because losing a game in groups in the regional quals before playoffs even start really means a lot

posted about a year ago

Last time they played was 9 months ago and nats wasn’t a primary controller. Rn you gotta give the edge to Marved based on performance this year

posted about a year ago

One thing I would say is that if you feel like your aim is consistently good when you play ranked then a lot of the inconsistencies are from your playstyle. When you are winning games and top fragging/fragging decently or even losing games and top fragging your playstyle is probably the same, but when you lose games/start to play bad your playstyle tends to change. The angles you swing, your timing for trades, rotations, and your confidence when playing all get affected. When you are playing well try to notice how you play, like if you tend to play close with the team for trades, do a more lurk style of play, set your teammates up with your utility, etc. You may feel as though you are aiming just fine, but what causes you to bottom frag with the same aim that you might've top fragged in the game previously is just a difference in playstyle. However, I'm not trying to say that if your playstyle and aim are consistent that you will be top fragging no matter what, oftentimes there are some games where your teammates are underperforming and your opponents might be too good to overcome, but by keeping a consistent playstyle with the consistent aim, you are likely to individually be good most of your games. I'm sorry if this seems obvious, but its just a tip I have and I hope it helps you!

You kind of just need to play deathmatch as you would a normal game. Practice holding angles and listening for enemies who are swinging into them. Try swinging common angles you would in a normal game on the map you are playing on with emphasis on crosshair placement. The range is helpful but practicing against actual players is beneficial because their movement is more random than the range bots, and they actually shoot back at you which puts you under more pressure and more realistic scenarios. It’s normal to feel frustrated when you keep dying over and over but just try to think about why you are dying because in some cases it isn’t just that your getting spawn killed, it could be that your crosshair placement was off, you didn’t clear an angle, etc. Just play deathmatch with the mindset of learning and not winning and then I promise you’ll improve. If you’re just aiming to win the deathmatch most likely your fundamentals will suffer, you’ll start winning deathmatches more often as yours skills progress. I hope this message is helpful and wish you the best of luck!

Ye they were cool, I just wanted to see a map 3 or at least a close map in one of the series, none of the maps even went OT

posted about a year ago

Ye I was also looking forward to that, the Tenz and Sick situation was unfortunate

posted about a year ago

Every game this weekend was a 2-0, sort’ve boring because none of the games even seemed close this week even though this week looked prime to have some good matches.

posted about a year ago

I don’t think it’s disrespectful to say that, yes Bang is good and has a lot of potential but the thread is about the best controller NA. Which is definitely Marved since he is the only controller in NA who has proved their worth on the international stage.

Bro, this thread is literally just people making bot accounts to upfrag/downfrag LMAO

I actually really like this idea, it might be hard to get Zander tho because of his buyout and SEN has been pretty cheap with spending

posted about a year ago

I’d have NRG in the top 3 NA if they did that. I think Tex is a good rifler but his op ability isn’t at a tier 1 level, and it seems like NRG wants him as their primary op which doesn’t really suit his strength

posted about a year ago

He had around the same impact against TSM that he did against Rise last stage. One good game doesn’t make him a good player and one bad game doesn’t make him a bad player. I’m just saying from what has been seen of him he does well against the lower tier teams but against the upper tier teams of NA he is almost always underperforming, which is why I’m calling him the weak link.

posted about a year ago

I still feel like Tex is the weak link of NRG, he’s playing around the same as he did last stage. He does well in the opens and then does sub par in the group stages

posted about a year ago

I’d give top 10 NA idk about world

posted about a year ago

The way he holds angles and peeks is just amazing to watch, it always seems like he has the advantage whether he’s holding the angle or peeking into one.
