Alright let's break it down, NA has always been spread out, good players in every team but never 5 GOD players in one (Only OpTic), when franchise came regions like emea, pacirfic and SA literally build from scratch with the better teams from their region (Excepting teams like KC, Detonation, etc), even Fnatic which was a god team, they improved with two big pickups.
On the other hand, NA carried cores from "good" players but not the best players and that is why t2 NA is probably the more stacked, so we are probably seeing the good NA team against the best of the best from the other regions.
So yeah, NA fucked up in the transfer window because they thought their players were the best from the best.
TL;DR: NA didnt improve their teams, only picked up GOD player with a meh core unlike other regions which picked up the best from the best.
