Most of these were not playing majority flash ini though. Nobody and stax in particular were mostly recon and just filled in for flashes depending on the comp (if at all)

It's a different role than being someone like s1mon who was attached to Kangkang's hip just throwing util for him

literally where vro everyone is dogging G2, and sen just has a huge fanbase to begin with

if anything it was mibr getting bandwagon fans but they're cooked

posted 1 month ago

great point let's put the 3rd seeds straight to playoffs to punish them

posted 1 month ago

I mean that's mostly because of Icebox and they're both legitimately good on that map

posted 1 month ago

He's not a fragger regardless but he can IGL better when he's on a minimap-forward agent like Tejo as opposed to whatever tf he's doing on Kay/o.

The RRQ that beat GEN was so alert and locked in but this one just looks dizzy.

posted 1 month ago

Well it's also that crazyguy sucks ass at supportive initiators, which he's playing now instead of Tejo

posted 1 month ago

fuck vro and I wanted to watch wolves but I can't watch the first match

I think it got changed bc G2 plays first tomorrow so the loser of wol/gen needs to play first today in order for it to be fair

No you don't understand Lysoar's 🧍ing is the key to their victory

hard to have impact on the worst agent in the game

should've let FNC pick first then

Tbh it's fine to spray depending on the situation but if you want to force the habit to go away then use the guardian as much as you can

posted 1 month ago

You guys hear that? It sounds like howling in the distance...

posted 1 month ago

Man if only there was a way for 1st seed teams to test ideas and practice vs worse teams

Weird way to spell talon

posted 1 month ago

If the first seeds had to play in swiss and ANY of them got grouped they'd be complaining about not getting a bye like last year

posted 1 month ago

Cooked with this one

posted 1 month ago

I feel like they wouldn't have said shit about it if they had won

posted 1 month ago

Yeah the 1st seeds all had a crucial advantage, which far outweighs the lack of "warmup," and that is that the swiss teams have no idea what the 1st seeds will run until they load into the game.

And yet not one of them brought anything new to the table. We saw more innovation from swiss teams that changed shit on the fly.

G2 is inspired to run Tejo again and get wiped

the wolf and the fox matchup

posted 1 month ago

They prepared very little new stuff and mostly just went back to what they were using before. Compare what G2 and RRQ ran versus what WOL and PRX ran

posted 1 month ago

They literally have at this event

Won only 2/9 non-mirror matchups

Karon

posted 1 month ago

props to both of them for being ahead of the meta and using actually good agents instead of br0ach and shit/o

posted 1 month ago

Gonna crash out if I hear this shit take one more time vro it's not the format's fault all the first seeds apparently chose to take a month-long vacation instead of preparing anything new

posted 1 month ago

It should've been a 10-2 half but it's like something possessed them for those two throw rounds

Phoenix + Neon is what people want Breach comps to be, except it has both agents using their guns as opposed to one sitting in the backline doing fuckall

posted 1 month ago

Tbh yeah as long as Yoru continues to counter Vyse meta. I would like to see Phoenix's potential as a pseudo-initiator tapped into more though.

posted 1 month ago

This is what it needs to be like in order to prevent power creep.

As the player base improves, agent utility feels increasingly oppressive. Imagine if release-state Jett, Raze, and Sage were in the game right now.

posted 1 month ago

Breach is simply a bottom 3 agent, and the teams still running him are shooting themselves in the foot.

All of his utility (especially the nerfed stun) is so predictable and easy to dodge, without meaningfully clearing anything. All he does is bait the team into thinking they can util crutch in teamfights. Breach comps have won only 2/9 non-mirror matchups in Toronto.

That being said, Phoenix + Neon double duelist is the future.

posted 1 month ago

nah rrq and fnc are actually legit

posted 1 month ago

yeah and that's why they lost... they had weeks of prep time and they still ran the same slow breach + ini playstyle as if tejo never left

posted 1 month ago

it's like when FPX got CN first seed all over again

EDG does too much trolling regionally they gotta stop

posted 1 month ago

there's only enough room for one east russian hard carry duelist at toronto

posted 1 month ago

the one thing he was right about is that breach is garbage
