True but like I said above, the others above him help their team out more with their util and aren't as stupidly aggressive with skye. Subroza is great at flashing for himself to get a kill or 2 but he almost never heals his teammates or flashes for them nearly as much as the others do.

I mean he's a HM but he never heals and he always plays way too aggressively with Skye. Sure he gets lots of kills and is great at flashing for himself but the others help the team out more imo

In that case the first roster change(If they need to make changes) should be Duno since Arch and Duno are clearly the 2 weakest individual players and arch is the IGL. I'm not saying that they need to make changes but if they do, Duno should be the one getting replaced.

Who is the IGL for Navi?

L + ratio

I didn't literally mean always... but still the best team in NA was LB Stage 3 chal 1, stage 2 chal 2, didn't even make the main event of stage 2 chal 1, LB of stage 1 chal 1 and 2...

posted about 2 years ago

Jokes on you Sen always make a lower bracket run. Also be prepared to see some kind of upset maybe like Rise beating TSM or something. I think TSM is a great team and that the top 5 teams in NA are clearly Sen, 100T, Xset, Envy and TSM but I'm sure one of those teams will get upset by Rise, Faze or LG and Rise has pulled upsets off in the past.

I mean either option makes sense since poiz and Xeppaa both have so much potential to be stars, Leaf is already a star, Vanity is a great IGL and xeta is a solid player. If they did a 6 man, it would allow poiz and Xeppaa do develop more while still getting playing time and it would allow for them to always play the best comp on every map(and it would take some pressure off of all of the players other than leaf and Vanity who would probably play on every map)

posted about 2 years ago

The main reason why they are picking Vanity up is because he is a great IGL so of course mitch would drop the IGL role if they kept both. Mitch is not a good IGL whatsoever(can't blame him because he's only the IGL out of necessity) either so there is no reason they would keep him on IGL. Also I'm surprised that you never mentioned the option of dropping Xeta since he's clearly been the worst player recently(I'm not saying he is the worst player I'm just saying recently) and because Xeppaa was on Sova earlier. I would switch poiz for xeta in option 4 cause xeppaa could switch over to sova and because of xeta's recent games. If I were running Cloud 9 though, I would run a 6 man roster like the one suggested in #3.

Because TenZ didn't want to play for C9... and clearly Sen are a bigger org than you think they are if they could afford to buy TenZ(as well as signing the rest of their roster at the start of Valorant including the OWL MVP)

posted about 2 years ago

I don't understand why they play rb on sova on some maps instead of Lakia(unless they haven't integrated him on those maps like you suggested). Lakia is hands down the best sova player in Korea and rb is certainly not(even though he's great on raze). I haven't watched too much Korean val tho so I could be wrong but I hope Lakia starts playing sova instead of rb on whatever map(s) rb is playing sova on.

I didn't say they were small orgs but orgs like C9, 100T, TSM, Envy ect. are all much bigger and it must be hard for the smaller(not small orgs but just smaller) orgs to keep star players when the big orgs can afford much bigger contracts and to buy those player out

posted about 2 years ago

We've already seen Vanity get poached by C9(I know it's not confirmed but I'm 90% sure he's not going back to V1) and Yay get poached by Envy so do you think smaller Orgs like Rise, KCP, V1, Ghost ect. will continue to lose players to the biggest orgs in NA or will Vanity and Yay be the only ones for now? I'm really interested to see if players like Zellsis, wippie and Andersin will get signed by bigger NA orgs or if V1 and Darkzero will be able to keep them.

He's probably going to replace Mkael on Gen.G. If they have like NaturE/Koosta/Shawn take over Mkael's roles and put mummAy on Jett on some maps and omen on others(which would allow them to put gmd on duelist) then the move could work out. mummAy would be a huge upgrade over Mkael in terms of individual skill and I don't see many other teams that mummAy would fit better with. He has also played a good amount of sova in the past so on some maps he could fill in Mkael's role as the sova player. I guess he could replace Ange on Darkzero or valyn on complexity or something like that but I just think that he would fit best with Gen.G and that he would be an upgrade over Mkael.

On a serious note Steel was the IGL for Chaos in CS and after he moved to Valorant, Vanity took the reigns based on what he learned from Steel

posted about 2 years ago

He doesn't have any coaches to help him out and Sentinels are still the best team in NA at anti stratting other teams and in general... Sure he has 4 great teammates but NRG has a stacked roster, and without daps, they are failing. Not to mention that he is the only good IGL(at least in NA) that can IGL while playing a duelist.

posted about 2 years ago

As we saw in the ABX TSM game and as we will see when Envy plays TSM, yay is on the same level as Wardell(if not then he is really close to Wardell skill wise). Also look at how xset took a 16 year old and a new IGL and beat Sen... If Envy can't incorporate a jett player of yay's skill in a week then I would question the leadership of that team. Sure it's not going to be easy for them and they won't have the chemistry that 100T or Sen have but they should play great with yay in this team and should finish at least top 4.

posted about 2 years ago

Any good Jett player shouldn't need more than a week or 2 to fit in with a new team. They won't have the chemistry that 100T or Sen have but it shouldn't be hard for an IGL like fns to incorporate yay into this roster within a week.

posted about 2 years ago

You are forgetting that C4Lypso was a demon on omen in the early days and the same goes for Kaboose on phoenix. Mummay was decent, FNS has always been a good IGL and aKis was a good role player. In the beginning they were right outside of tier 1 until they got like 3rd at one of the Ignition series tournaments and then Envy signed them.

Envy(If they don't qual to Berlin and want to make a change): -Mummay +Yay(If he's still available)
FaZe(if they don't do good at Playoffs): -Rawkus +Temperature/Critical/Derrek/Meeeeester Juan
C9B: move poiz to the inactive roster +Yay(Poiz is a great player but it's like a 100T Ethan situation where the opportunity is too good to pass up on)
Gen.G: -MkaeL +Yay/Thwifo/c4Lypso/Temperature/KOLER/Oderus/Bjor(Temperature would be the ideal fit but all of these players are great and Yay would be the best pickup if NaturE, Koosta and Shawn could take over MkaeL's role)
T1(or they could give the team some more time with Curry IGLing): Just get Autimatic and Curry some more help. Obviously they gotta keep Brax so maybe drop Ska and/or Dawn and get some good replacements(maybe someone from a smaller org that's still really good like Andersin or Oderus)
NRG(either try eeiu IGLing and see how that works or make some changes): If they can, they should definitely get Yay and replace Tex(even though I still think Tex is good, once again Yay is too good to pass up on and reconnecting him with Android would be cool), but if not I think they definitely should keep eeiu, Android and maybe tex and either drop Wedid and s0m or put Wedid on viper/astra and maybe omen and brim and pick up someone to play cypher/brim/omen. I would rather see Wedid on Astra than s0m and idk why they have Android on viper and not Wedid. I'd like to see Android on kayo/skye, Tex on jett/raze(unless they pick up Yay), Wedid on astra/viper, eeiu on sova/skye and someone like Temperature, c4Lypso or Thwifo on Cypher and smokes.
Andbox, Complexity and EG are all 3 other big orgs that need changes but they clearly don't care enough about their Valorant teams to invest in making good changes or they can't afford to make big changes.

posted about 2 years ago

No hate to MkaeL but if you could get Koosta and NaturE to take over some of his roles while putting Yay on Jett, Gen.G would be a very scary team

posted about 2 years ago

Personally, I think it's mostly between NRG and C9B but I could see a big org like Complexity or EG picking him up and building a new roster around him. I also like the idea of him replacing Mummay if Envy don't make Berlin but Yay might get signed before then and Envy might not want to make roster changes.

It is a business and NBK shouldn't hold a grudge from cs if he wants to be successful in Val

posted about 2 years ago

I mean he's good on omen too and if they could get someone like kAda or nbk on Reyna than he could easily play omen.

posted about 2 years ago

Keep Bramz and surround him with an all French speaking roster. Maybe get nbk, poach some players from BDS or sign players like Kinguyen or Killu. There's a lot of great French speaking players and Vitality definitely has the money to snatch some players away from other teams like BDS or even someone like kAdavraa from Alliance. Vitality could sign any French speaking player they want besides ScreaM and could make an amazing roster around Bramz so hopefully they will put money into making a great team that could compete at least next year.

posted about 2 years ago

Was Reykjavik the only time you've seen him play? He is a great jett player and mostly played jett with a bit of viper. Plus he literally played with oderus on Beastcoast as well so there's no issue with the roles at all.

posted about 2 years ago

If they make any changes it should be a comp and/or management change. The only scenario where they should make a roster change is if a good IGL somehow became available. Like if someone as good as like NaturE or dephh became available or if some other great IGL from another region was moving to NA, then they should at least think about a potential roster change. Other than that I think management needs to work with mitch to improve his IGLing and to create a slower playstyle. The worst thing i saw from C9 yesterday was that whenever they did a fake, their lurk player got no map control at all. On Icebox they would fake B and their lurk would just be sitting outside of A instead of pushing up and getting info. The issue for C9 is definitely on the tactical side and luckily they have a lot of time before the Last Chance qualifiers.

nice spelling LMAO

posted about 2 years ago

I mean you say that and it's absolutely true but if you look at DarkZero's last few games before this, he didn't play good at all so your point about consistency is poorly timed. But yeah he's a top 3 viper player in NA(only alongside Wippie and nitr0) and is usually insanely consistent but just struggled a bit in the games before this.

posted about 2 years ago

Maybe they should try out eeiu IGLing and if that doesn't work, make another roster change. If the eeiu IGL doesn't work out, then they drop Wedid or s0m and add a sentinel main IGL. Then they can put Android on skye/kayo and have the new IGL play viper/cypher/killjoy. Losing daps really hurt NRG and now they might have to poach an IGL from a tier 2 team or someone like stellar

Name the 6 teams... Sure any team CAN beat Sentinels like BBG but when it comes to teams having a decent chance at beating SEN. The only teams from EU are Acend, FPX and maybe Fnatic. I know you're probably gonna say Liquid, Guild and G2 but Liquid isn't that good and Acend absolutely shit on the other 2 and they(Acend) are around the same level as Sen. Sure if ScreaM pops tf off, or Leo, Sayf and Yaccine all pop off like they did in Challengers 1 or if nukkye pops off and Challengers 1 wasn't just a honeymoon phase from G2 they CAN beat G2 but I don't think any of them have a decent chance. While in NA, XSET beat Sen, V1 with their full roster has a decent chance(especially on Lan since their energy was only matched by Fnatic at Iceland). 100T has a decent chance, like in their recent game they took Sen to 30 rounds on Haven and if they pulled off Haven they might've won Ascent to 2-1 Sen. I would say Acend has a 45% chance, XSET has a 35% chance, FPX has 1 35% chance, 100T has a 30% chance, Fnatic has a 30% chance and Version 1 have a 30% chance. I think teams like G2, Guild, Liquid, Envy and the rest of EU and NA have a >30% chance to beat Sen(although I will say that the team that I didn't mention having a 30% chance or better that has the best chance would be G2 cause they have a great roster and if they gel together and are consistent than they could improve their chances against Sen)

Andersin is on DarkZero now and has been killing it(except he had a rough day today but they player bums so it didn't matter)

At the time and with that meta Fnatic was the best team and Liquid was certainly 2nd or 3rd stop with the BS excuse. But I do agree about the thing about Wardell fans

Fake. Shahz would never reply to that and also his name is ShahZam not Shahzam

posted about 2 years ago

honestly I was just trying to think of NA players who match the description but with NA many of the players teams got were either at the start of the game or switched over from Overwatch or CS. Truo was a recent addition and he played well in the last Challengers even though IMT lost.

posted about 2 years ago

Players like Monsteerr, al0rante, Keloqz, dimasick, derke, Magnum, zekken and truo were all from tier 2/3 teams and now are stars for their respective teams. So who are some tier 2/3 unsigned stars that could become stars on tier 1 teams if they need to pick up a player. From NA, you got some tier 2/3 stars like seven, virtyy, Meeeeester Juan, johnqt but I'm sure there's plenty more that idk about and I definitely don't know many from EU other than H1ber, avez and Twisten. Also do you think the approach of signing these tier 2/3 stars is a better approach than signing proven tier 1 players that got dropped/their team disbanded?
