After they fix any bugs or whatever on Fracture, I really hope they focus on fixing the existing maps more than working on a new map. On Icebox, they need to add some things to B site so that attackers can actually play post plants on the site instead of backing up to yellow and main every round and on Split idk what they can do but they should also make some changes to make it more attacker favored. However, I Ascent and Haven definitely don't need to be changed and Breeze and Bind don't really either. In fact, Bind is one of the most interesting maps to watch since so many pro teams play so many different comps(like ForZe running Yoru, VS running jett, raze, breach and skye and so on). However, Breeze can get really frustrating since you really need a viper to win rounds on attack but idk how they could fix that.

7 maps is the perfect number of maps for a pick ban system so it'll be interesting to see if they have all 8 maps in the map pool for pro Valorant when they release the next map or if they will remove a map from the pro map pool.

Sen still #1, they won Reykjavik and have won pretty much every NA challengers and Masters 1. Envy probably jumped 100T ig cause they made it to finals and beat both Sen and 100T but 100T are a close 3rd in my eyes. Then you have Xset and C9B to round out the top 5.

posted about 2 years ago

Well not if Suygetsu joins FPX like the reports say and also zeddy and hugeon probably were bought out by OBG and probably didn't just leave.

posted about 2 years ago

He's not wrong at all wtf. They default until there's like 45 seconds left in the round and then start going. It's just that they have mastered slow hits on attack while FPX and other teams haven't.

posted about 2 years ago

If the FPX Suygetsu move happens before LCQ then FPX should take ForZe's spot since ForZe won't keep 3/5 of their roster like they need to. The "stay with us" at the bottom of ForZe's tweet however makes it seem like they might have some big moves coming up. There's plenty of good CIS FAs out there like trexx, Jady, chiwawa, dimasick, purp0 might not be hard to get, hvoya is an available IGL and spellful but letting go of zeddy who is a great player and was their IGL when they were qualified for LCQ doesn't seem like the best move to me. However, OBG is looking like a team that will challenge NaVi for the #2 spot in CIS as well as ForZe is they make a stacked lineup. They got probably the 2nd best IGL in the region with zeddy, a top 3 jett in CIS with Sp1ke, a solid viper with hugeon and a great sentinel main with minse. Now all they need is a good controller player and they will really be looking deadly. If ForZe makes good roster changes, then the CIS region will be so much more interesting with NaVi, ForZe and OBG all fighting for 2nd and in the position to potentially upset Gambit.

Nope, zekken was signed by Xset, Noble replaced him and king with payen and ZK and then TSM bought Levi and Noble disbanded.

Asuna is a good awper he's just not on the level as the best jetts in the world and is just so much better with a rifle but he's still a good awper. But also I would like to see maybe some more nitr0 on jett with Asuna on Reyna and Ethan on smokes or something. Problem is that if they have nitr0 on jett, they are kinda forced to play 2 duelists because Asuna might be able to play other roles, but switching him from jett(which somewhat can hold him back) to a passive agent would hold him back even more. Luckily Ethan is very flexible but it would also suck to not have him play skye and also not having nitr0 on astra would kind of suck as well.

Viper, Jett, Skye, Killjoy and sova/cypher/Reyna depending on the team

posted about 2 years ago

I mean I said it wasn't fully based on Berlin performance so idk what you're talking about. It just has the players from G2, 100T, Envy and Gambit...

posted about 2 years ago

Zombs cause I learnt Astra after watching him play and it's easier to learn an agent by mimicking a pro for me(at least when I first learn an agent).

posted about 2 years ago

IGL diff. HiKo is the better individual player though and tbf he normally isn't too much better than Steel individually but he had an amazing tournament.

posted about 2 years ago

Nerf spectre run and gun pls. I abuse tf outta it but it's not fun at all to play against to increase bullet spread some more or something pls. Also nerf jett but not too much like maybe a timer on her ult or make it so that her dash doesn't recharge. I've seen people suggest to add a delay on her dash after a kill or something but that would take away the main point of jett.

posted about 2 years ago

This isn't solely talking about their Berlin performance either but it plays a huge part in their ranking. Also roles are considered so it's not going to just be all duelists at the top and some poor performing IGLs will be higher than some players who are individually better and might also have better util usage and such. I tried doing the best players from all of the teams that made the Playoffs at Berlin but it got way too hard so I just stuck to the players from the semifinals teams.

  1. nAts
  2. yay
  3. Crashies
  4. Asuna
  5. nukkye
  6. Chronicle
  7. Ethan
  8. AvovA
  9. nitr0
  10. Marved
  11. keloqz(I know he played like a top 5 player but I need to see him keep this up in the future to justify placing him up there due to how inconsistent he has been in the past and how good the players above him have consistently been in the past)
  12. Sheydos
  13. Redgar
  14. Mixwell
  15. Victor
  16. d3ffo
  17. fns
  18. Steel
  19. HiKo
  20. Koldamenta
Also as you can see from my Flair, I am a 100T fan so maybe I put Ethan and nitr0 too high or something but I tried to be as unbiased as I could(like putting Crashies over Asuna even though it pained me)

Honestly I was really expecting for Gen.G to sign mummAy despite it not being a 1 for 1 swap with MkaeL in terms of their roles. However, I honestly didn't think Temperature would be available and now that I've heard this, picking up Temperature is definitely the best move for Gen.G. Obviously it's not a done deal but Temperature is a perfect swap for MkaeL and is definitely a better player(no disrespect to MkaeL but Temperature is just a great player). He's been trapped on the worst Org when it comes to Valorant since the start of the year and has not received the results or attention he deserves because of his situation. He's a great player and I really hope Gen.G sign him.

posted about 2 years ago

Also EMEA had 4 teams at Berlin while NA had 3 so that's not really a fair comparison

posted about 2 years ago

I mean they're probably gonna have a core 3 of Wardell, Subroza and Rush. They will probably also keep Leviathan and then the only real question in my mind is whether they decide to keep hazed or not. Given the fact that the IGL market in NA is quite small, I doubt they will drop Hazed unless a good IGL gets dropped or something. Maybe Stanislaw switches over to Valorant and TSM decide to have him as IGL with Rush, Wardell, Subroza and Levi. I doubt there will be much news except for whatever news there is about Rush/Bang's replacement.

1st off FNS is the main reason why they beat Sen and 100T. They won because of his anti stratting and calling(as well as Yay just popping tf off). Secondly, MikesHD is their coach but he couldn't travel to Berlin because of Passport issues or whatever which makes it more impressive that they made it to finals with fns being both coach and IGL. I know that's what ShahZaM does but this is the first time fns has really been in this situation, without a coach, and he led his team to finals.

Comparing Bonecold, zeek(or Koldamenta if you're talking about Masters 1), Starxo and Kiles to shinobi, relyks, mitch and vice is incredibly unfair. Shinobi and relyks were so shit that they didn't even get signed after C9 dropped them, and mitch and vice were just decent. TenZ carried that shitty excuse of a team to top 3 finishes all the time and then joined Sen and instantly won the first tournament even without much practice at all. TenZ's rifling is just so much better than cNed and TenZ's awping isn't that much worse than cNed's.

posted about 2 years ago

I didn't look at stats but also Yay is a slightly worse Awper than cNed but is a much better rifler. TenZ is an even better rifler but is worse with the AWP. Also I'm not just talking about this tournament, I'm talking about in general which is why ScreaM is there. I never even said anything about cNed not being an insane player, I only said that Yay and TenZ are better.

posted about 2 years ago

He's probably #2 only because nAts exists but if Yay plays like he has been in the Finals and at Champs, then I'll also say Yay>TenZ but TenZ has been so great for so long on top teams in NA so it would be unfair to say Yay>TenZ at this time imo. Imo the top 5 in the world rn is:

  1. nAts
  2. TenZ
  3. Yay
  4. cNed
  5. ScreaM
    HM: Asuna, Heat, nukkye

With that comp they would be lucky to get half as many rounds on Ascent then they did against Envy. If they are going to change their Ascent comp it should be:

  • Asuna on Reyna
  • Ethan on Omen
  • nitr0 on Jett
  • HiKo on sova
  • steel on killjoy
They definitely should change up their comp but they also needed to realize based on the Acend and Gambit games to just not pick Ascent. I don't understand why they wouldn't pick Icebox but it probably wouldn't have mattered in the end.
posted about 2 years ago

They made fucking Semifinals in an international LAN and beat 1 of the teams in the finals in this tournament and the other in the qualifying for this tournament why the fuck would they make roster changes? HiKo played great throughout the tournament and has ggreat sova utility always. Without his clutches, they probably wouldn't even had made the semifinals and tell me what sova they could get that would be an upgrade over HiKo and who has even half his experience. Then name 1 IGL sentinel main that can call better than steel with better killjoy setups with half of his experience. I will wait.

posted about 2 years ago

He's a good Awper too but even if he was only rifling the entire series, Envy still would've won. Nothing could've stopped Yay in this series so it wouldn't have mattered. This L was less of 100T fucking up and more of Yay having the best series of his career. I think he only missed like 1 or 2 AWP shots in the series and had the best aim with rifles too.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't understand how so many people can say -Asuna or that he's so inconsistent when he was top of the leaderboard 6/10 maps in this tournament, was 2nd once and in the 1st map of the HL series he was 4th only because everyone on 100T played great. He had 2 shit maps out of 10 just in this tournament and he is the main reason why they even got here and got the seed they did. He is 8th in this tournament in terms of ACS even though it honestly wasn't a great tournament for his standards. For him having a worse tournament than he normally does and still only being behind yay, heat, nAts, TenZ, cNed, keloqz and Laz statistically speaking is insane. They got to the semifinals and beat 1 of the 2 teams in the Finals earlier so please stfu with the 100T hate

Guys we are in the semifinals of the biggest tournament in Valorant history... why tf do you care so much about this shit

I have no idea what players like it or not but as for players likely to be on Astralis, Glaive is there for the next like 3 years I think, bubzki and lucky have the newest contracts and they are rumored to sign k0nfig. With that information + the fact that Xyp9x hasn't been playing, means that Astralis's CS team will probably be: Glaive, Lucky, Bubzkji, k0nfig and Dupreeh. That would mean that Magisk and Xyp9x would be FAs so I would say they are the most likely to switch over ig. However I doubt they wouldn't get a shit ton of offers, especially Magisk so ig Xyp9x is the most likely to switch.

Fnatic can't choke cause they are never winning

posted about 2 years ago

That is definitely biased but I should've made it so:
mitch=Ayrin
vanity=dephh
Bcj and Crashies are the clear top 2 sovas in NA so putting Bcj equal to xeta doesn't make sense. Also saying Vanity>dephh is too far especially with how good dephh has played since he joined Xset.

posted about 2 years ago
  1. AvovA
  2. nitr0
  3. MaKo
  4. Redgar
  5. Marved
    HM: Zombs, Bonecold, Brave
Also this is just from Berlin and I haven't seen every game cause of school so maybe like v1xen from VK deserves an HM but I haven't watched him.
posted about 2 years ago

Well 1st off I'm not saying that the player ratings determine the winner but also PureR, BcJ and Ayrin have been playing together on Xset for a very long time as well so they have great synergy as well. Also what do you not agree with? Depph recently has been a monster for Xset and clearly is a great IGL based on how much better Xset have gotten with him IGLing and Ayrin is an incredibly flexible player that can play good on any agent in any comp. I can see you thinking mitch>Ayrin based on how mitch has been playing recently but other than that I don't think anything else is really debatable.

posted about 2 years ago

Crashies scrawny buff is too OP

posted about 2 years ago

I'm sure Astralis is gonna resign at least 1 of Dupreeh and Magisk. However with glaive, lucky and bubzki all already on the team with contracts past 2021, the k0nfig rumors and with Xyp9x not playing, there's a slim chance that Xyp9x or Magisk/Dupreeh switch over if they don't get resigned but I doubt it will happen.

posted about 2 years ago

It's probably gonna be between C9B and Xset. Individually:
Leaf>PureR
Xeppaa<zekken
Xeta<BcJ
Mitch<Ayrin
Vanity<Dephh
And as a team Xset have looked better against better competition but both teams are fairly new, especially C9B so idk what to really expect. Personally I think Xset will win LCQ but I wouldn't be shocked if C9B win it. Also this is assuming that NA win Berlin, if they don't then I fully expect the loser of 100T/Envy to win LCQ but again Xset and C9B definitely would put up a good fight against 100T/Envy.

posted about 2 years ago

There's a difference between confidence and arrogance but if you hate Sen I see where you're coming from. Also they have every right to be confident since they are going to be 1/2 teams to win an International LAN after this tournament and they have pretty much dominated NA from the Ignition Series to now(except First Strike). Also ShahZ, TenZ, dapr and SicK are all some of the best players in the world and Zombs is one of the best support players so there's even more reason to arrogant.

posted about 2 years ago

Which are 2 good teams, much better than CR and they also played fucking Sen so...

posted about 2 years ago

100% keloqz. nAts, Asuna, cNed, f0rsaken, heat, yay, ect. were all expected to be good and especially f0rsakend and heat could only disappoint if they didn't play good based on how good they've played domestically. However, keloqz has played so much better at Berlin than he ever has before and is one of the best players in this tournament(based on just this tournament I mean). As for disappointing players though, I would have to say dapr and Turko are probably the 2 most disappointing players in this tournament. Both players have set really high expectations based on how they've played in the past but didn't really show that at Berlin.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah also when they were down 9-3 to Xset in the Challenger playoffs and came back as well.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah but he couldn't have predicted that they would play fucking Gambit in the quarters tho. As of right now, they're a top 4 team in my eyes with Sen and Gambit being ahead as well as 100T(based on what we've seen).

posted about 2 years ago

kr seed 1> EMEA seed 2 and below tho

posted about 2 years ago

I mean I wasn't responding to you but I doubt that's true either. I think all of these teams grind just as much everyday or else they wouldn't be where they are no.

posted about 2 years ago

Since he got dropped from Envy I've been saying that GenG should drop MkaeL and pick up mummAy. I know you all think they need a sova main but I think NaturE/koosta could play sova just fine with some practice. mummAy is a better jett than both NaturE and koosta and we know how important a good jett player is in Valorant. Not only that, but he also is great on Omen and if they put him on Omen on some maps, gMd could play duelist. It's not the perfect fit that you could just slot him into MkaeL's role but I think it would be the best pickup for GenG especially with how flexible all of their players are.

posted about 2 years ago

Bro you think all of the other LCQ teams aren't working just as hard if not harder?

posted about 2 years ago

It would've been if he did it earlier. It's great if it's early on and when he'll actually see someone going yellow but not in a post plant when they don't need to cross...

posted about 2 years ago

Can't wait for OCE to get hyped up right before LCQ just to get shit on. They hyped Soniqs up so much just for them to be a tier 2 team despite being the best team in OCE.

posted about 2 years ago

He has the best skye player in EMEA who is one of the best in the world(maybe only behind like stax), zeek who is a great flex player, Bonecold who is a great IGL/support player and Kiles who is a very flexible player who is good on pretty much every agent but not great. Also TenZ was the best player in the world even when he was on Cloud 9 with much worse teammates so this is an idiotic argument.

posted about 2 years ago

EU fans talk shit until they lose and then they complain...

posted about 2 years ago

The best OCE team is equivalent to a tier 2 NA team pls stop crying for Riot to give them a slot cause they would do worse than Zeta. On the other hand, they should give a Japanese slot to either China or India to bring in more viewership. I'm not saying India/China>OCE but it would bring in so many more viewers and we wouldn't have to watch CR get shit on at every LAN. I think for next year they should make like an Asia qualifier like the EMEA qual but with teams from Japan, China, India, Korea ect.

posted about 2 years ago

In terms of utility, xeta is probably #1 but as an all around sova he's in the 3-5 region. Also I'm a 100T fan but HiKo isn't a top 5 sova NA. Crashies, Bcj, Xeta, eeiu and Derrek are the top 5 sovas NA. HiKo is probably #6 if you don't include sinatraa.

The 3 casting duos should've been

  1. Pansy and Hypoc
  2. Sean Gares and DDK
  3. Achilios and Paperthin(Korean English casters)
Also in the future they could have Mitch and Tombizz and Upmind and Sully as additional casting duos(unless other regions also have english casters as well other than Korea that I don't know about).
