And if we’re being honest, 100t was the first team to successfully run kayo back during there stage 3 run last year. They destroyed NA (save sen) with it. Granted they didn’t really use it a whole lot after cause they were changing their roster every 30s but they were still the first team to display kayo’s power. It was only after that teams started using him on a large scale.

Honestly plat is a strange rank. They’re smarter than golds typically but have the ego of hard stuck silvers. The biggest factor for me was just having good comms. It feels so much harder to rank up without good comms.

Arguing for best player on a role is different than who plays the role best. Very different. And it kind of is who places the smokes best. Obviously that’s not all of it but when discussing who’s the best on role it’s a huge aspect. Before Marved came to full form, both Zombs and Nitr0 were arguably better controller players despite Marved being mechanically better. Now obviously Marved is way beyond either but at the time they played the role slightly better.
