They already have ayrin as their import. They need a flex or a support initiator.

posted 9 months ago

nobody cares given 3 years of performances + their favorite game was unbanned last month (PUBG mobile). Viewership in India has dropped significantly.

There are multiple issues which have been highlighted, including SEA teams not wanting to scrim because of ping to individual skill gap. Overall, neither players nor orgs are serious about improvement. Prep starts 2 months before tournaments rather than year preparation.

posted 9 months ago

I would rather pick someone from fancy like yesican or naos who can play initiator role like sova/skye/fade. Ayrin goes to sentinel/2ndary controller, monyet looks good on controller, the new guy on primary initiator, with bazzi and texture on dualist/initiators like kay/o or sage. I still feel the core of texture, monyet and ayrin is pretty good. Bazzi will be much more comfortable in the new role too.

I think my pickems are going green again today :)

yep, can't get easier than this. 2x money here I come :)

I was just thinking about it yesterday. That spot is broken. Also that b site tube on bind where raze shells drop inside before exploding. CSGO had a similar bug on Inferno banana where a small difference in height saved you from grenade damage.

posted 9 months ago

I feel the language barrier is holding him to perform. Not to mention, he regularly changes to sentinel role. Sometimes when you play support, you focus too much on teamplay that your individual performance suffers. This is what happens to most IGLs too. The guy is a world champion. If they don't qualify, he is probably going back to a brazillian team anyways.

Honestly, tenten's punishment was harsh. People in NA and SEA pass racist comments to each other all the time while playing, even on stream without repercussions. losing a job over that remark I feel is too much.

posted 9 months ago

looks like DRX vs PRX in the writing? will it break the mental of EDG remains to be seen.

3 years of open qualifiers and teams still need time to identify talent? It's going to be worst now since tier 2 died with the introduction of franchise system. With the amount of teams disbanding after ascension, and LFT players which will surely play as free agents or teams forming weeks before next ascension tournament, the skill gap will only increase. It will become harder to find talent with these new tier 2 teams formed weeks before ascension.

posted 9 months ago

There's nothing to fake flag about. People who have followed Indian scene since 2015 know. There have been instances where bleh ( actually a good Indian analyst) have mentioned it on stream that Indian open tournaments are free money for SEA and middle east teams.

posted 9 months ago

It's honestly the kids who think he is extraordinary. Heck, his team never made it to finals of ESL India in CSGO days. That tournament was literally free money, open to all. I remember every year risky gaming/nasr esports (same team) from UAE demolished every other Indian team in the finals. SEA teams didn't even bother to participate. The same guys more or less transferred to valorant and you can see the results. Indian teams have in my knowledge never won a bo3 against SEA teams in valorant in these 3 years (maybe 1 or 2 at max). Talent scouting and nurturing isn't really there yet.

The amount of orgs that have pulled out of t2 in all 3 regions after their ascension tournament ended is insane. Imagine orgs hiring talent next season without recent performances (thanks long offseason). Most pros will play org-less. The gap between t1 and t2 will increase further.

posted 9 months ago

The union started it and got it back in the semis. M80 had the final laugh. M80 was being called onliners and not being able to win even after practicing with franchised teams after they lost in group stage. The union got it all back now.

posted 9 months ago

You are a bit wrong. Pacific is divided with a fkin ocean. But most franchised teams scrim on korean server. Meanwhile most tier 2 teams scrim on Singapore. Then again, I believe pacific teams aren't as good as SA/LATAM.

posted 9 months ago

Talon is supposed to be the 3rd best team from APAC after DRX and PRX, given the international experience, time this roster has been together with and their yesteryear performances.

posted 9 months ago

Seems too harsh TBH. Maybe a public apology would have sufficed.

posted 9 months ago

9z winning this fr. After seeing how fusion saved it's strats for playoffs, I have doubts.

posted 9 months ago

Just a off day for him, he is usually really good with it.

W take, and they are doing really fine TBH.

Valorant in my personal opinion is trying too hard with in-game features (road to ascension will be in-game), too many agents which will eventually result in balancing issues, discourage new players. Their focus should have been on an FPL like match making system, since gun buddies aren't enough now. They also need to host tier-2 and tier-3 tournaments. I feel tier-2/3 is literally dead in all the regions right now. All tier 2/3 teams which didn't qualify for ascension are practically disbanded. The off season is too long as well. Most importantly, they do need a demo/gotv like feature.

All this doesn't mean Valorant is dying. CS is practically non-existent in NA(pro scene, the last good org-liquid just left NA) and Pacific, which means a large market for Valorant to grab on to. However, franchise system hasn't brought anything good with it for now. Orgs left when they didn't make it to franchise, and they left again when they didn't make it to ascension. This means while Tier 1 will continue to improve, the ascension teams will be the worst to come in coming years.

posted 10 months ago

Talon just straight up had an exceptionally bad season. I feel DRX, PRX and Talon are the best teams in pacific by a considerable margin. I stil feel talon will qualify for masters easily.

posted 10 months ago

CIS region in general. Both in CS and in Valorant. They have some great IGLs and really good players.

posted 10 months ago

I hope they do. Talon along with PRX and DRX are the 3 best teams in Pacific.

posted 10 months ago

C9 clears.

posted 10 months ago

Clown team. I can guarantee you, they will still have 0 teamwork in LCQ.

posted 10 months ago

I feel competition in Americas league is greater than in EMEA and Pacific. I would personally love to see C9/ new Sen/ 100T/ Furia/ Leviathan/ EG along with NRG and loud. Contrary to that, EMEA clearly has atmost 3 favourites similar to Pacific (DRX, PRX and Talon).
Won't matter tho, because fanatic will take this extra slot for EMEA.

posted 10 months ago

PRX completely changed their comp, when compared to pacific. This could swing either way.

posted 10 months ago

They won split, and I'm so happy to be wrong. T_T

posted 10 months ago

IDK, I only see them winning ascent. Maybe pearl, which means they lose 3-1 if not 3-0. Their lotus is swing as well.

posted 10 months ago

The roles have remained same for most maps compared to VCT pacific. They replaced reyna with gekko on most maps, mainly because their flashes are similar. Ofcourse CGRS can't bring in the fire power. I still think they will get eliminated by EG tomorrow.

posted 10 months ago

NRG winning this 2-0. PRX using old strats because something is not there. They are much better with something, but this is how far strats can take them.

posted 10 months ago

Honestly, depending on how orangutan does in ascension, valorant scene might die this year. VLT, the 2nd biggest org pulled out already. Other orgs have been silent about their roasters too and no local tournaments in sight.

posted 10 months ago

Not enough of a talent pool in pc gaming to be honest. We are yet to see the "young talent". Mobile gaming is much more popular here, but then again, it's being getting demolished thanks to Indian government banning chinese companies (tencent), which I guess is understandable. The only reason for valorant became popular is pubg mobile ban.

posted 10 months ago

Nope. Also, most of OGX's players are not Indian, why would they agree with a server change?

posted 10 months ago

He did talk about dipression and suicide in a tweetlonger. I don't know exactly what happened, buy a really sad news. Also, a really gentle reminder to all the fans, that no matter what the expectations or performance for your favourite players are, most of them are still very young. Trolling is fine, but don't be toxic if they don't stand upto your expectations. You never know how these young players react to it or going through in their personal lives.

posted 10 months ago

This will me painful to watch, but still GE fighting.

If muffin has a million fans, then I am one of them. If muffin has ten fans, then I am one of them. If muffin has only one fan then that is me. If muffin has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against muffin, then I am against the world.

Wasn't too bad in this instance. He shot him when he activated alarmbot.

posted 11 months ago

Calm down bro. C9 has nothing to play for. They will most probably get seed 2 which gives them equal chance to qualify as loud. Both teams played good valorant throughout the season, but it's impressive how c9 turned it around so quickly after making changes.

posted 11 months ago

He has the longest contract in GE among all the players, till the end of 2024.

posted 11 months ago

Overcooked team. They love changing things. Brought sieh as coach during vct challengers. Dav1 now doing the same thing. Players are really good individually, but there's zero chemistry between the team. They lose defence rounds even with an advantage.

posted 11 months ago

They lack communication while their fanbase melts. We still don't know the reason. Most probably, there's some kind of restriction. It has to be the only reason. They got two imports and both of them are from EU (not pacific, mind you). Even franchised teams have a 1 import restriction. A few japanese teams have two russians, apart from RGE. I haven't seen EU/NA players playing for ascension. Either two EU imports is the reason, or Dav1(coach) has gone mad, same as sieh and is overcooking af.

Hellf mentioned it post match interview against MLT.

posted 11 months ago

I know it is bait, but aspas is actually 1 with jett. His movement along with team support makes him so much more difficult to kill. He may not be the most aggressive jett, but he is so much more considerate and well thought out positions and angles he takes. Rarely seen someone winning a 1v2 against loud if aspas is alive. Man creates so much distraction with his movement, that the enemy almost gives up his position. Aspas is on a different level altogether.

posted 11 months ago

GE has lost to both zeta and rrq. IDK exact rules, but in h2h, they lose to them.

posted 11 months ago

It highly depends. RRQ can qualify if they win their matches. TLN is looking sloppy, but they can still qualify if they beat DFM with huge margin, still slim tho, because of round diff. I will still say RRQ is more in line to qualify if not TS.
