The pacific includes Australia which is literally worlds apart from South Korea, similar to how Argentina is from California. The only region close enough is Europe. The best part is most of them don't require a visa, while Americas and Pacific has to deal with that nonsense.

Eluwu did try out for GE right? Was surprised they didn't pick her up. Can't blame tho, if you can't come to bootcamp ever, there's no point.

India is mind-boggingly diverse in terms of religion and religious practices within the different religions themselves. Beef is really common among south and northeast India. It's only the central indian states where cow is considered too sacred to eat.

He will make it to international events. DRX and PRX are the only good teams in Pacific, and Bleed roaster isn't looking a slouch either. If not the 1st masters with only 2 teams per region, you may see him in 2nd masters and champions for sure unless talon gets their sh*t together.

We know it's unhygienic and is usually discouraged to eat outside everyday. I think, street food in most tourist destinations is good/hygienic at most places.

We have reservations in colleges and government jobs too for women, specially to address this problem.

It can't get worst than DFM. I think they should do it. Indian roster, EU coach.

I mean you can use it interchangeably but they plan to pass a bill for the change of name afaik.

Bharat was basically the old name, and is still in use in few local languages. It is yet to be made official tho.

Doesn't have the talent pool straight up. SA right now doesn't even have 10 decent teams. Also, GE wasn't as bad in the league as everyone expected them to be. If they pick correct replacements for rossi and bazzi, I feel they can easily be top 3/4 in pacific, given talon comes back in form. The rest 7 teams are equally abysmally bad. Pacific was expected to have PRX, DRX and Talon as their top 3 but talon just had a bad season.

RIP ❤️ hope his family recovers from the loss.

It's just not about interest. Most people playing in the Indian server have probably bought their own gaming devices OR have been bought for them while they are pursuing a professional degree.

This is why pacific is a 0 trophy region 🥲 korea has service too.

I hover around diamond 1/2 but would like to push for ascendent. Then again, I'm 30 and getting killed by cracked 14y/o all day isn't fun

Crazy movement and unpredictable nature? Ray4c comes to my mind honestly. But he is only a judge player, don't know if his aim is as good as jinggg, not watched may matches of his.

posted 8 months ago

Ohh, so it's like all have to apply and then they select who to keep, unlike singapore and korea.

posted 8 months ago

Doesn't brazil have a mandatory service period too? Loud has some very young talent as well. How do they get around with it?

I feel much more in-depth map knowledge (rotation timings, utility timings like re-smoking, molly timings and counter utility usage). Vod reviews, and quicker learning from mistakes looking at vods, and probably better decision making on when to take control and when to let go. All that along with the ability to shoot back. These are the things I personally lack when compared to pro which I can see, being a average flex diamond 2/3 player. There must be dozen more but I cannot tell.

Not going to happen. EG looks formidable on some maps like ascent, fracture, pearl and lotus. The players on EG are as cracked as in PRX, but they have set executes on both attack and defence, similar to prx but much less flashy and safer, with similar success rates.

Ranked grind. I haven't played in months. Only 2 games last act and 5 this act.

I can't say much, India's education system and Industries is actually a lot different compared to western countries. R&D here is mostly sponsored by the government. I will say if you enjoy mathematics, then go for it. Also, try finding a Phd guide you actually enjoy working with. He can make 5 most important years of your life a living hell or the happiest ones.

Professor 8/10. It gets worst with every passing gen. Although I haven't taught for that long yet.

It's just not feasible. That kind of money is just not there yet. Japan, Singapore and S korea are one of the costliest countries in the world. Moreover, why would a Korean/SEA team scrim when they get nothing in return?

posted 8 months ago

Not a big talent pool. Most indians still believe in traditional careers rather than going into sports, let alone esports. While peeps like forsaken and jingg have been playing PC games since they were literally a child, most Indians need to "earn" their gaming setups. Most Indian parents would rather prefer spending money on coaching classes for exams rather than spending quater of that to buy their children a PC to play games.

SEA teams are also not interested in scrmming against Indian teams because of ping and nothing good to offer. South Asia had 1 slot in qualifiers, which was too less honestly. It's similar to how the Malaysian teams are just dominated by singapore when clubbed together, or how OCE never got a proper chance of representation.

posted 8 months ago

No bait at all. Riot makes sure pacific atleast reaches semifinals. PRX literally had the free run, beating edg, kru and fut. DRX obviously a better team got lucky against loud, but should be an easy work against EG.

posted 8 months ago

APAC has never won anything, but thanks to rito fixing the bracket for them, they still have two teams in upper brackets. Today Pacific will be shown it's place. Can't wait for shitRX to lose against the better regions. Riot brackets can only guarantee them 3/4, nothing more.

posted 8 months ago

They just couldn't compete, but they certainly had 3rd party tourneys, and played along with Korean and Japanese pros and scrimmed few APAC teams. Many pros also played official tournaments in HK and TW teams which had an official VCT circuit. TBH, SA (Sount Asia), Middle East were included much later. OCE were honestly fked around and RSA is still non-existent.

Jumping on the anti-GE bandwagon would be more of a typical Indian valorant fan behaviour. We don't claim those frauds.

posted 8 months ago

TBH he did look better at masters tokyo, and completely dropped the ball yesterday. That doesn't mean you disrespect my king like that.

posted 8 months ago

1v5 is an overstatement. 1v3 I would agree.

posted 8 months ago

Probably because international tournament opportunities are so few and far between. You basically play 9 matches in a season which decide if you qualify for masters and champs. LCQ is a complete joke as well, with no lower bracket. Also there's basically no 3rd party TOs inviting international teams. Currently, valorant esports is unforgiving to bad patches honestly. It's more of a quantity thing rather than fans problem.

posted 8 months ago

The narrative that China just got valorant is so wrong. Chinese players literally had access to better pings compared to south african players. Heck, even russian players had to play on worst pings. Most chinese players also played in HK and TW teams, which were part of APAC qualifiers before franchising.

Honestly, being a 30y/o, I'm Diamond 2 and deserve a lower rank for how much I play and the effort I put into the game. Somehow random teammates carry me to diamond. I honestly have to stop playing to avoid ranking up.

Stop bro, please don't jinx. Fnatic almost brought it back. I want Loud to win and stick together instead of aspas wasting an year in a fake NA org.

Never played dota or lol, but Valorant is as different of a fps 5v5 game as it can be when compared to CS. Valorant focuses a lot on agents and different utilities, while CS focuses a lot more on gunplay. CS gameplay is a lot more polished, even in beginners ranks because of how old it is. While valorant can never be so polished because of number of agents and different possibilities to execute a site.

Maybe you got that impression with his recent tweets, the fact is, he actually is the best India has to offer. The guy consistently fragged in this region. The problem is, India/SA region was never known for esports (Pakistan got success in takken, but nothing significant in fps games). If you consider the level of competition he had to face, it was the region which is to blame partially. It's the 13y/o kids who haven't seen performances of Indian teams on international stages before this in CS era who hyped him up. They were also a reason for the hate. Indian fans, specially those 13y/os were relentless and gave him hate on Twitter feeds, dms and insta. There has to be a tipping point and he just tilted.

If you just want to get the idea of amount of dumb valo fans India has, take a look at LFT posts of doma and ec1s. They were bought in by the 2nd most successful org in SA and didn't perform as expected. Their LFT posts are filled with hate and dumb tweets

Aspas was never the flashy cracked aim dualist. He was dependable. Given proper support, you expect him to perform and never overheat to get multiple kills. His performances clearly shows lack of practice with others and communication gaps.

posted 8 months ago

how will they manage to afford him?

posted 8 months ago

Something already proved himself in the 1st tournament he played with PRX. It's his international debut and the biggest tournament in val. He already talked about nerves on stage in his 1st game. Atleast he hits his AWP shots.

posted 8 months ago

CS has other popular streamers too. Gaules actually has a massive viewership during SA matches. There's also a russian streamer which people watch during CIS region matches. Valorant viewership is mostly english speaking while CS has a much wider audience since NA pro CS is almost dead and UK, Oceania never had a good pro scene in CS.

Steel is one of the best brains NA has ever produced, along with sean. 100T won firststrike and dsg won their qualifiers with him. IDK how many times the man has to prove himself.
