Not to hate, but what did you like about his yoru? Out of all the teleports caught on stream, none of them were based on lineups. He had 0 first kills being a dualist, and gave 6 first deaths. I know yoru is a distraction, but it was more like bad comms by t69 rather than good plays by yoru. He was not punished for those random teleports, which just shows how bad t69 played/plays. They aint qualifying for sure, and any semi-decent team in India (reckoning/revenant) will defeat them.

Loud has some insane aimers tbh. Just look at the g2 vs loud ascent. That sova guy acted like a turret, g2 couldn’t clear him on multiple occasions.

Jamppi actually saved the day for liquid on map 3. Those entries on attack from a short were insane. Also his ult was so good, getting two frags on ult every time. If not for him, liquid would have lost for sure.

Told you, bonkers looking good, but they had only 2 weeks of practice with a stand-in.

Not gonna be easy. Bonkers have a stand-in.

They have a pop up bootcamp from a gaming cafe in another city. They are getting 35ms from singapore with packet loss. Don't have any idea about the backup ISP they got.

You can't send them back, they already playing from home.

Just accept the reality dude. You are the actual kid living on copium. I have followed the scene since CSGO. 5 months since LCQ and I see no difference in play style. They wont make changes in roles nor in the team itself and yet they want to improve. They are behaving as if all the guys are married to each other and divorce is a taboo. Younger lads like rossi, lf(golu) and skillz fall flat on international stage. It feels like hellranger was the only one comfortable in LCQ and in yesterday's match. The worst part is, they don't even know where they lack. It's always "ping diff", "no infra", "we will grind", "they just landed today" and "we will come back stronger". Fk with the excuses, it's been all the same since last year with no improvements.

Sad part is, GES got new PCs from Bleed Esports. Little did Bleed knew they would get the PCs back before their matches and they could have just let GES use their existing PCs. It's a 2-1 in favor of Fancy United Golu manages more kills than the default bottom fragger Kappa, else it's an easy 2-0 for Fancy.

Velocity is in the same boat brother. Wait for them losing the 1st map, 2nd map won't even be close.

Meh, no one remembers that. We only compare Indian teams to JP/KR because in both cases, they qualify for the event, just to lose in group stage and get eliminated. Difference is, Indian teams in APAC qualifiers and JP/KR in Masters/Champions.

It's just kids who just started/playing watching matches during Covid lockdown. Peeps who have followed the scene since CSGO knows how well Indian teams play. For me, I just expected them to reach Group stage, but after looking at how good No Namers really is, I lowered my expectation. Skrossi wasn't firing in Indian qualifiers, unlike the last time. There's a reason they entered through wildcard and one of the last teams to qualify for SA playoffs. Meh, too many kids in chat to stop them from spamming rossi.

I think it's only for SEA/SA teams and invitational. They haven't decided the teams yet since most teams are on a break.

posted about 2 years ago

I'm here for SEA supremacy. If they don't crumble under pressure, both x10 and secret have an equal chance of winning their matches.

posted about 2 years ago

No. PaperRex is actually the best team by far in terms of raw aim.

posted about 2 years ago

It was most probably because FNS used an exploit (KJ molly inside that box on site A). They had to reset the round because of that most probably.

posted about 2 years ago

Then they will hire both teams for testing bugs and both will take the biggest W with constant prize pool.

posted about 2 years ago

The audacity! You lost against a team that WAS punished for the same exploit. VK played well in ascend and they have shown what they are capable of. It was unfortunate that the team didn't knew that camera is an exploit. Just accept the fact and stop being salty! Please!

Sadly they had to FF the map and they excepted it, unlike VK. The players and coach didn't even except the fault that they didn't read the RULE BOOK and then kept asking for support setting brazillian fanbase on fire on twitter and twitch.

Two direct slots. 1 team came from regional LCQ. I honestly feel Chile needs atleast 2 slots at LCQ. Brazil has 4 seats out of 8 in LCQ.

posted about 2 years ago

GGs to both teams. Really good matches. Furia played really well. I seriously think Chile is doing amazing and needs an extra spot in LTNAM LCQ.

Absolute shit show on twitter and twitch chat. All this could have been avoided with a simple DQ for VKS instead of a shitty round by round analysis for a convenient 13-9 ruling in favour of Ascend. It's amazing that none of the VKS players and coach knew about the cam bug. What's even more surprising that none of the brazillian pro players even mentioned it once that the cam was illegal and two teams who used it before had to FF the maps in order to calm down the brazillian fans on social media. I mean dude, it's just a game in it's 1st year of existence. Not all the nationalism has to be poured into a game which is just celebrating it's 1st anniversary as an eSports game. Also the victim card played by brazil is too much. The same happened when fallen accused leaf of cheating or when hiko played csgo under liquid. Fans being irrational is still understandable, but even brazillian content creators/influencers and team owners? I used to love brazil as a region and was upset when they underperformed in masters. My opinion is not the same anymore, and I actually don't like them now.

They have better infrastructure than BR and SEA. The limitation lies with the competition within. Even when they have the resources, they are one of the smallest regions to play the game with smallest player base. Japan is a really small country ( population wise ) to be a region, just like South Korea. Apart from that, they really don't play fps games in general.

posted about 2 years ago

Exactly. Brazil used the cam exploit. Match should have been FF.

Basically vk won the decider map breeze but used a glitched cypher cam in 6 rounds during defense(they only won 3 out of those 6 rounds). Ultimately riot gave ascend the win with a ruling that they deserve 6 rounds because of the glitch and 1 round for economic impact those 6 rounds would have caused. After the Brazilian region just out-cried their support against the ruling, they agreed for a re-match but with a 7-0 round advantage to ascend. They(VK) played really well and ultimately lost only 10-12 despite the 0-7 disadvantage.

The brazillian logic behind the 1st ruling(handing 7 rounds) was that the referee should have stopped the match in between and/or other teams(dapr from SEN) have used the same cam(which is false, with no evidence) and /or the glitch is not listed to be banned. Unfortunately the whole region is wrong since the ruling said that you can't put a cypher cam at places where it can't be seen and destroyed but shows you the enemy position, which the glitched cam shows. Also there have been two instances previously ( with vodafone giants and x10) using the same cam and teams using it had to forfeit the map later.

TLDR; riot should have just ff the map and gave the victory to ascend instead of changing the ruling two times. They didn't need to give round by round analysis in the 1st ruling. Also they didn't need to bend the rules to give a different ruling 2nd time and replay the match with ascend having an advantage. It should be similar to previous rulings for same incidents instead of it being changed for just this tournament.

posted about 2 years ago

I don't know why so much discussion. Riot should have just made them ff the map. All they needed was to not give a round by round based reason and that shit economy reason for declaring VS winner. Vodafone Giants used the SAME camera and they had to ff the map, that was in VCT qualifier too Proof. Even x10 used the same cam and had to ff here. What makes them (riot) look stupid is different ruling for the exact same bug and and then considering a change in ruling after community pressure from one region. Also, how stupid does a player have to be to use a glitch for which there have been repercussions. At least one member or coach should have know about it.
That's not to say match referee isn't at fault. Riot knew and could have stopped the team as well. Both team and riot is at fault equally.

posted about 2 years ago

Yeah, already 2 teams had to ff their map wins ( x10 and vodafone giants) because of the SAME cam. Why do you have to go to history? Check the news here. How did teams not know this? At least coaches should know this.

posted about 2 years ago

The bigger question is why didn't coach stopped him from using that cam? Coach should be well versed with the rules. He should have known, specially when 2 teams have been penalized for the SAME cam. Weird part is they gave the reason per rounds instead of just ff the map like previous occurrences. And yes, that cam is glitched since you can't see or shoot the cam from a-main and the cam can see the players. don't be irrational. Truth is that specific glitch cam had been penalized. I can understand that furia ruling was unfair(they made them replay a round), but at this point, riot should have just made them ff the map straight up just like previous rulings.

Deathmaker went to his hometown to meet his family during festive season(november). The team has not had any breaks and they are due for it. They will take a break after this season.

posted about 2 years ago

Not rossi's mistake by far. Their B site hold was horrendous. I don't remember they successfully held B while on defense. It was incredible that they won the 2nd pistol and even the bonus round, but 5-7 half on bind isn't good enough.

posted about 2 years ago

It's not about loser mentality. Both teams are good enough (hence in the tournament) but the server is an issue. Prx has a clear ping advantage on Singapore as well as hongkong servers unlike damwon. Add to that two of the players of prx are mechanically gifted and literal gods in the server. Only thing going for ge is that prx isn't playing their original lineup due to national service call for one of the members. The way GE played today, I myself was impressed and it was different than GE we are used to seeing in India. Of course kappa needs to step up in terms of kills. He is not a good anchor (I feel).

posted about 2 years ago

Even if GE plays it's heart out, they will most probably lose. They are not going to Singapore and pings from India to other servers except Singapore are terrible, and they most probably are not going to pick Singapore server for this match.

posted about 2 years ago

HK is an option only if GE goes to Singapore. We usually get 40-80 ping depending on region in India, and 80 ping is almost 1 second delay . I recently played in Japan server from india and I was getting 140ms ping and literally like 2 seconds of delay. Since GE isn't going to Singapore, even the team isn't sure which server will be picked.

Certainly a tier 2 team. I just expect a 1 map upset. DILF was just plain bad and could be described as team of radiants and content creators. One of their player was live too. The comms and coordination diff was huge that match.

posted about 2 years ago

You never know with these players. They are not just twitch streamers. Their comms were on point. Should be a good match. I expect a 1 map upset.

With 3 slots for NA in next masters, I guess they can make it next time.

posted about 2 years ago

I think they peaked against V1. They have still secured 3rd position for their region, which is excellent. Japan and Korea was non-existent in FPS space and the first LAN event they show up in, ends up earning them a 3rd rank and a better result than Japan, SEA and LATAM/Brazil, even when last two regions have been there in CSGO for a long time. I don't think they have a chance against any of the teams they play up against, either Liquid or Fanatic.
