C9 died for this. They would've 39-0'd them easily
Sen +johnqt was such a good roster move
having a concrete IGL has made them improve so much
the fact that NRG haven't played Split is pretty clutch
Sen won't be able to antistrat at all, they'll just have to have a better gameplan going into this
this is a little bit of a comp diff imo
the Cypher pick can be good, but it seems like they're running the non-standard comp just to be different
they're not capitalizing on the trips well at all
I knew Ethan had potential to be one of the best IGL's in Valorant, but I honestly didn't expect him to get so good this fast

I don't think Sen will struggle much with EG
Potter will have a good game plan, but Sen has a lot of strategic depth and should be able to adjust to whatever EG cooked up
C9 saving strats for regular season
Imo it's a coinflip on whether or not Sen make madrid
it all depends on if NRG look so good because they are that good, or if they just dominated an easy group
They're better with leaf but they wouldn't be bad with Oxy
with the structure and leadership in G2 he would've fit in a lot better
Vanity was C9's second highest rated player
Also Runi wasn't the real IGL, Zellsis was
C9 almost had N4rrate, Flyuh, and mCE as coach😔

I think they should keep Vanity in the rebuild, igl or otherwise
He’s been hitting some good shots and winning big rounds, plus he helps with the vibes a lot and is a veteran

He’s very experienced, has been fragging out now that he uses aim trainers, and brings huge help with the vibes + midrounding

he sabotaged the team hard last season during LCQ when he had them scrimming with qpert but then decided to throw Runi back in
then he goes to the collegiate scene and doesn't do well at all. I would want to see someone different
those are the 2 best pieces :(
I would be happy to see Mitch back on C9 though. I loved him back in the day

I wanna see changes made before split 1. That way they can practice as a core and be contenders for the rest of the season.
This core played together in ascension and went to legit every single off season tourney. I don't think time is the solution here

This current iteration of the roster legit just isn't it. This core+coach looked awful in ascension, and they look the same in VCT
Should they kick 4 and rebuild around Oxy? Get a new coach and see if that fixes it?
Something needs to change though. These pieces just don't fit together

normally I'm a "let the team build and improve" type of guy but I don't even see signs of life with this roster
This current roster could genuinely be the worst in americas
It's normally a little embarrassing to be a C9 fan, but it's not normally THIS bad. I'm legit looking forward for the franchise season to end so I can root for different NA teams
