Hello, I dont watch EMEA games. I watch APAC and NA exclusively but I hear people say EMEA is bad to watch. Is it cause of production or are the teams bad or playing boring? I feel like fnatic and TH are good and vitality should be good too right so whats the actual issue people have with EMEA. Say what you want about NA but at least its entertaining and the productions pretty good IMO. APAC games are so crazy now that idk what teams good or bad half the time.

Side note - is emea good but people are over reacting like always?

If they make a lower bracket run and look good I will be happy but I dont see them beating any good team when FNS is playing this bad. Idk they looked to ass lately for it to magically work but I'm probs wrong.

I think if you were to give players a poll on which team (besides their own) that they would wanna play for, and we can do this specifically for America, Sentintels would win by a landslide. That is my Sen meat riding opinion but I think its true. If a player could build a team on any org, Sen would be the 1st choice for most IMO. The only place this is not true is for brazil probs unless sen went full Brazilian.

Does anyone have any big upsets happening in the Americas. I feel like every playoffs, the favourites get bounced. G2 not making it would be top 3 biggest plot twists ever but I dont see it happening.

So besides them I think mibr losing to 100T is my crazy prediction, and they lose out in the lowers. I got C9, Sen and G2.

Though I think Mibr, G2 and Sen/C9 is the most likely scenario.

i am only curious to see if their perma ban maps are actually bad or if they are decent enough to float them. Not playing those maps either is some sorta smoking gun play or they just dont prac those maps which would be bad.

They played fracture once (in kick off against a hot G2) and never again (not looking at off season). They have never played ascent since kick off and ice box is a 50/50 for both.

If they are bad then sure but we simply do not know what they are like so making these assumptions makes no sense to me.

Also just cause C9 scrims every map does not mean they are good on every map. They are not that much better in the map pool imo, also they are historic chokers in the playoffs so i got no worries. Sen probs loses and goes on their trade mark lower bracket run.

I only looked at the stage 1 maps not including kickoff.

Ice box: sen and c9 both got rolled that map. Its 50/50 and they each only played it once.
Fracture: sen has not played it and C9 only played one game. sorta 60/40 in favour of C9. dont know how sen would look
split: probs in sens favour 70/30.
pearl: probably 55/45 in favour of Sen cause of how good they look recently but i am okay saying 50/50 cause C9 are 3:1
Ascent: cloud 9 played it and sen has not so probs like 60/40 in favour of C9. maybe even 70/30 cause we arent sure how good sen is on that map.
Haven: probs one of sens best maps now and C9 look okay. 70/30 in favour of Sen
Lotus: both are sorta bad on lotus but I guess C9 looks slightly better but id say its marginal. So its probs a 50/50

Overall:
Sen: Split, Haven
cloud9: Fracture, Ascent
50/50: Pearl, Ice box. Lotus

Even if you give C9 Lotus its not like they are some god tier team on every map. I think this probs goes 3 maps. What are your guys opinion.

I watched sen back in 2020 when they first started playing with zombs, Sinatra, shaz, dizzy (before dapr) and sick. Was there from the start of the whole thing. When the OG t1 and OG TSM was there too. Was a fun time tbh. I like what the orgs done overall, some things I disagree with but ROB as an owner is pretty great.

when you watch his co streams you can tell he knows a lot, and does a good job breaking down rounds. Always thought he would do better as a coach versus a player but he isnt bad, he is just having a bad split.

So if 100T beat Kru and Sen beat 2G do they use map differential or head-to-head to determine first? How does the first place work for this group? Also besides the byes that 1st get, how are the matches actually made for playoffs?, are the standings used or do they do it randomly?

Assuming FNS retires this year, his actual reason to stay on NRG is sorta gone. I think his contract ends this season too so could you see him moving on from NRG to Sentinels. Bang is obviously great but if you have an opportunity to get s0m you would get s0m.

I also think reduxx probably switches out with zellsis and you get a team of johnqt, zekken, narrate, s0m and Reduxx. But this is just a hypothetical scenario which i think has a decent likelihood of happening.

Before anyways calls me crazy, I called narrate on sentnels at the start of last year while he was on KC. I see visions, and s0m on sentinels makes the most sense for him as well. Streaming-wise and career wise, you would want to play for an org that will pay you the most and has the fans as well. Also even if reduxx does not swap with zellsis, its still a strong team. If he wants to compete, staying on NRG makes no sense. The only team he could join other than sent would be 100T if they move on from zander.

I feel like NRG sorta played average in the second half and Bili bili just pulled a sentinel and could not close. Idk nrg did a good job coming back but it didn't feel impressive. Bili bili had a couple rounds that they should have won in the second half which would have won the map.

If you look at the partnered teams in NA, I think they have the most competitive region in the world. The pacific region is great too but with Furia and Kru looking decent enough with their rosters, so in totality, NA is very competitive imo

I dont think our bottom teams could beat the top teams consistently in other regions but they could win a series or two.

I always viewed NA as having shitter teams like every region but this new Furia and Kru team could be good. MIBR with Aspas could be good, EG is always a frisky playoff team. Loud is my biggest question mark but overall we have some decent teams in NA.

if they dont make a international NRG, this is probs even more embarrassing than last year IMO, though it would be close.

If they clean up some stuff, they could make the playoffs. I am excited to watch them if they keep this roster through the first split. If they figure stuff out in the second half, they could be like KRU in the first season and make champions.
