I have said this before, good risk taking comes only when it's required at disadvantageous position to even out the situation, u can't expect an anchor to just sit on a site when he has no support whatsoever to help him hold.

If it works people call it magic, when it doesn't which happens most of them time in tier 1, it looks stupid as to why the player didn't want to play with his team.

This is a bit of a childish argument.

I agree with that as well, G2 has been more of a post plant team which has played well for them this season.

But when compared to teams like G2, more than being tactically outplayed, I see a lack of cohesion and sound fundamentals unlike G2 which is extremely good at it.

I believe they can do better but I'm not gonna bank on it

posted 2 months ago

I can see that, I just remembered how everyone said that bang was a huge upgrade to TenZ at the start of the year

posted 2 months ago

I agree, the veteran experience of tenz and especially sacy made them play fundamentally well and not collapse under pressure

posted 2 months ago

But at the same time narrate has better aim than sacy but we know how it's been this year

My bald king

posted 2 months ago

It would be for sure

posted 2 months ago

Nah I feel differently, I think both bang and narrate are playing kinda like an inexperienced player. Narrate just has been an aggressive player which is y he put numbers in americas cuz it's less competitive than champs

Comeback king TenZ :(

It's the mentality

SEN 2024: Even when down, stuck to fundamentals and played patiently and with cohesion, doesn't matter if they're under pressure

SEN 2025: If they're shooting they win(individualistic approach) , under pressure or when enemy team throws curveball, collapses and starts taking bad fights, grows impatient

posted 2 months ago

Yeah like G2, they are way more of a post plant team than a retake team

posted 2 months ago

I would be happy with top 3 but it would suck if they go trophyless the whole year internationally

posted 2 months ago

Best NA Lineup, and I think they've proven that, but i get ur point

posted 2 months ago

Fair, but I still think that this G2 is more cohesive than Optic especially in high pressure situations and risk-taking scenarios in matches

posted 2 months ago

#4

posted 2 months ago

Optic is the only close one to G2 but G2 clears them slightly. Tactically G2 is miles better as the game has evolved a lot

posted 2 months ago

G2 is by far the best lineup that NA has ever produced and I don't care that they have no trophies yet.

posted 2 months ago

I think this has been a problem for sen because u can basically stack sites based on the info qan oper can get alone once they are inserted on a line.

Sen defense has always been slight weaker than their offense apart from their nrg lotus which was a complete shitshow

posted 2 months ago

I believe Jawgemo has the better Yoru even thonG2 hasn't won anything this year

posted 2 months ago

Lol

posted 2 months ago

Dead team. G2 single handedly slowly killed this team all year. All bad decisions in a single map is crazy.

Roster change incoming

posted 2 months ago

Only good answer

posted 2 months ago

Same, first 10 rounds were like peak valorant
Sen crumbles under pressure.
G2 thrives.

These X factor plays are set up because of all the preparation that goes into the rounds and the mid round adjustments. They don't just happen because a player chose to take a risk. They happen because of a deliberate decision by the team like setting up ur teammate with a flash, stun at the correct time to produce that X-factor play. It all boils down to how good the team plays together in the moment. X-factor plays don't just happen because of an individual is what I'm trying to say.

And the player, if and when he takes risks, only does so because he is confident in his team and of their teamplay. Players playing scared/worried which occurs thru facing consequences of bad fundamentals will be less willing to take risks

posted 2 months ago

Let's hope

posted 2 months ago

X factor plays win rounds not games, if the team does not feel confident in their fundamentals, ofc they are going to be scared to go take risks because they do not feel confident enough that their team can hold off their own

This is the difference between G2 and Sen. It's becuz G2 has phenomenal fundamentals that makes their players confident enough to go for high risk plays

posted 2 months ago

It's not just about valyn, G2s system emphasizes teamplay which allows valyn's calls not to go waste

Sen played individually, not as a unit which makes igling hard when all the players are doing their own thing

posted 2 months ago

I can see that lol

posted 2 months ago

Too disjointed, hopefully they play as a team next game and not as 5 individuals

posted 2 months ago

Agreed , G2 is the kind of team that feeds energy off of their confidence, the teamplay is always solid which encourages the players to take the correct risks when needed

posted 2 months ago

Agree, but still it's hard to see so capable players play so disjointed when 4 out of 5 of them have carry potential

posted 2 months ago

Both teams were playing well in the starting rounds of bind but SEN just got drained until the end

whereas G2 just gets better under pressure because that's where their phenomenal synergy shines

posted 2 months ago

I swear to God, this teams flows and I mean fuckin flows, they never forget their teamplay, which helps them get confident/start shooting.

Sen played too individual a game

posted 2 months ago

Yeah I could see that, I think the deadlock tilted them hard into the next game

posted 2 months ago

Also 1leaf owns us :(

posted 2 months ago

Too individualistic, losing advantage rounds, G2 much better teamplay

None of them shooting back/confident. Ggs G2 is the best

posted 2 months ago

Makes sense

posted 3 months ago

Really? I think it's very close and the difference is marginal

posted 3 months ago

Serf naturate

posted 3 months ago

I think he's surprised that c9 lost in groups

posted 3 months ago

I think so 2, he's been on point since toronto

posted 3 months ago

Sometimes when zellsis is having a good day, I can't believe how fast he trades his teammates or gets 1st bloods as well.

Not saying that he is insanely cracked tho

posted 4 months ago

Yeah, the only issue is that when the attack side is scaling on u then u need a rifle to deal with the util

posted 4 months ago

Not even close to what I'm talking about. Him diffing jawg is the least of my concerns. I'm saying this only from a strategic standpoint

posted 4 months ago

I have been starting to like zellsis awping recently, maybe he should do it on more maps.

If zekken could become a better awper then maybe SEN can have a better ascent with a normal comp.

I don't like this 0 proactivity cypher-dl gameplay when ascent is def sided

posted 4 months ago

Sen did struggle, I agree but at the same time we shouldn't downplay the other 4 core members

posted 4 months ago

Common knowledge bro

I think this shit is over until 2027
