i dont care about the rest of the list. this guy was the #1 emea duelist in my eyes this year, freak of nature on that role, hard carried liquid in so many scenarios it is actually throwing to not let that guy have hard carry potential

my guess is that they got warned after the LOUD game, because during the PRX game the amount of bm was for sure heavily scaled back

Here is my hidden theory: EG did get a warning about tbagging and body shooting after the LOUD match, because in very few rounds did EG bm against PRX (the only one I can think of is Demon1 T-side pistol on bind). Where as during the LOUD game it was after literally every round.

So I think EG did get a warning they just didn't say anything about it because the only reason we know about PRX getting a warning is because f0rsaken said they got 1, where as EG could have just kept quiet about the one they got

tbh this run from FNATIC was not that impressive. They had 1 good win against DRX.

They beat Zeta (the by far worst team at the event), BLG twice, and then DRX. they lost to LOUD twice in relatively convincing fashion when you think about the fact that Fnatic won both of the internationals this year.

i hate this fucking 'stat'. it does not give praise to derke as an individual player who is super good on raze. Fnatic played 4 fucking maps all tournaments. all of which are the best raze maps (fracture, split, bind, lotus) . During that run he was literally the 4th best player on the team.

Its not like Derke was out there absolutely dominating even though he was in a tough position 'optimal team comp' wise. He was just a really good duelist player on the best team, not putting up world shattering raze gameplay. He just did his job for each map he played. If fnatic was challenged and had to play another map, derke would not be on the raze.

it is going in neither direction. it is stopping the overwatch direction by actually making balance changes to characters who have somewhat out of line parts of their kits even if they may not be the most broken agent in the game. (i.e. viper pit changes, that is an ult that just wins rounds it makes sense to nerf it, same with lockdown, and brim ult. the skye nerfs are so good, that agent is busted rn)

and what is wrong with maybe having a new meta?? are people so scared of not being able to be carried by jett because they have no clue how to play the game properly and actually use abilities effectively????

i literally do. the smokes lasting so long is broken because she can just hide in them wait for her team on entry while dragging crosshairs + deny space and fight else where on defense and get out without any team help.

if you watch aspas play that agent on defense he makes her look the best site anchor and on entry while on offense because of how well he plays around the smokes.

the ult change i think is bad. the aftershock change is good for both not making the ability so much as a stall ability and more instant area denial + can combo even better now because you DO NOT want to disrespect that thing now

Actually a really good patch in terms of reasoning and balancing the game. Would have liked to see some changes to deadlock though that character is trash rn.

i mean he plays pheonix on pearl, and can for sure play other agents (played sage on ascent in PRX's previous comp)... just raze is really strong on a lot of the maps that are in the pool right now + strong in general rn + fits PRX's style

A lot GC teams have the crazy cracked mechanics but simply lack the ability to understand the game more than just trying to play ranked slightly more team based (map control, timing, rotations, set plays for certain rounds, gameplans for each map, general team coordination like holding angles + trading, and discipline) A good chunk of that comes down to investment of resources to allowing teams to have good coaches/players who know how to win and lead a team. (The horror stories I have read from GC twitter are absurd)

V1 is good because they not only have 5 very good players mechanically (which isnt exactly lacking in GC) but their experience and understanding of what it takes to win and improve at the game at a fundamental level. The coaching with effys has been so good for them and all the players talk about how valuable it has been for the growth of them individually and as a team.

this is a justified post for the instability of the t2 scene, but not in this instance.
