Good move

To be fair, MF is an improving player and his recent form has been his best. He doesn't look like a below average player anymore (which he has been for most of the time).

MF has never been above a 1.0 rating internationally since Copenhagen. He was given the most opportunities in APAC and was "consistently" below average. What is he catching up on?

Mako was only great in the past? MF never really had a great time.

posted 7 months ago

Freeing, not Mako, is the IGL for this competition. And immediately he has KD 1.47.

posted 7 months ago

MF has never been above a 1.0 rating internationally since Copenhagen, and more often than not has been in the bottom half of the rankings APAC domestically.

posted 7 months ago

Despite being given more chances than anyone else, MF hasn't had a rating above 1.0 in internationals after Copenhagen. He is a major reason why PRX hasn't won A trophy.

posted 7 months ago

I see the potential for the current roster to be the strongest DRX ever, but maybe not right now.

TE 2-1, DFM looks very good, but overcoming the ART's shitbags three times in a row is not going to happen. ART needs to shoot better.

To some extent, this is true, but Riot may have changed its mind after seeing total fraudulent orgs like Bleed. Riot have always prioritized stability.

Additionally, G2 was still viewed with suspicion by Riot due to the Ocelote at the time of the TGRD acquisition. On the other hand, literal behemoths like NS are the organizations Riot trust the most.

North Korea recently publicly executed 12 kids for playing League of Legends. Obviously, fantasy has no use in a perfect socialist state.

Valorant, on the other hand, is much more useful for military training.

posted 7 months ago

No. It's not ethnicity or any of that shit. Of course IRL they're very mannered people. The scope of the conversation is limited to the Val fandom. It's all about shooting bodies in this game. The Japanese fandom is obviously sensitive. And I'm saying that it's not a big deal.

I don't intend any microaggression. I used the translator a bit , so I apologize if it came across wrong.

posted 7 months ago

The Japanese are probably the most sensitive people in the world when it comes to 'other people insulting them'. The opposite is not: Japanese players shoot corpses first sometimes, too, and fans just ghosts themselves it's not happened.

I know I said that in a negative tone, but they are maybe the angriest people, not the most duplicitous. In this culture of BM, duplicity is everywhere.

JonahP immediately received death threats for calling PRX a choker. PRX players have had beefs with TH and other teams, but every time they do, the internet is flooded with SEA Floods bashing their opponents and praising their own players. Needless to say, they are the worst fandom in history.

What about the West, which is "tolerant" of provocation? They are tolerant when their own team insults other teams, not the other way around. In Madrid, Munchkin also received death threats for shouting "What the fuck are you doing?" at SEN. Of course the SEN suckers laughed at Zellsis' taunting.

Mine is humor, Others are insult. This attitude is just everywhere. It's bit contradictory to tell someone to calm down because they're triggered; So just let them be angry.

They just learn. Look at the league. There are Korean players everywhere in the world - Europe, China, NA, even Brazil - and they learn the language no matter what. Koreans have little advantage in learning Japanese because the languages are similar, but that's irrelevant.

In Korea, It's quite a big business. there are agents who only work for export players and English teachers who only teach professional gamers.

I don't care what jing is doing, and I think it's good he's still on the team, but I can tell you that 1/2 of SK's duty cheating is faking mental illness. I have no idea what it's like in Singapore, but it's better than breaking your own leg anywhere in the world.

posted 8 months ago

of course there is cheating, but the rich and famous rarely even try because the Manpower Administration tracks it like a maniac. If they did, they'd be socially buried and their careers would be over in a flash. The latest duty dodging are usually committed by low-quality people with no future, such as pimps, underground rappers, unknown YouTubers, and gangsters.

'oligarchy korea' is a complete fantasy. The problem in South Korea is that populist politicians use (manipulated)public opinion as a weapon to attack individuals and advance their own interests. The chaebols collude with the government, of course, but they are not the masters. They are supposed to be semi-submissive to elected power. Otherwise, the laws, institutions, and tax inspectors will harass them relentlessly. Remember that Lee Jae-yong, the head of Samsung, has been summoned to the National Assembly numerous times and has even been to jail. It's a dangerous but populist situation, not a dictatorship.

As for Singapore, there aren't that many “complete dictatorships” like China and North Korea. Most dictatorships have some semblance of an electoral system. They just use unreasonable laws, unfair elections, royal family-owned businesses, and direct government control of the media to stay in power permanently. Singapore is just one of them.

posted 8 months ago

This kind of corruption is common in countries under dictatorships. During South Korea's dictatorship, and when it was less democratic, avoiding duty by the rich was routine. Nowadays they are so tight that no one can get away with it.

posted 8 months ago

idk but Primmie thinks so, too.

posted 8 months ago

He is on alternative duty and can commute to work.

posted 8 months ago

He was assigned to alternative duty due to a poor medical checkup result. He is able to commute to work and often hangs out with the T1 players.

Their role is similar to that of coaches in other sports, or even politicians. They help players reach their full potential. A very good coach will have their team at 100% almost all the time. Perhaps the greatest coach of all time can get them to 105%. That's it. But there's no limit to the negative impact a bad coach can have.

posted 8 months ago

All LCK teams have a chef (this became standard after the 2019 griffin incident where team 2 ate leftovers from team 1)

Most of them are aunties who are good cooks, not professional chefs who look like Culinary Institute graduates like T1, but the players satisfacion level are very high with them and especially HLE and DK's aunts are famous.

For valo, Gen.G and T1 share meals with their League teams. This is not the case for DRX VS, as their camp is quite far away from DRX HQ. I'm not sure what they eat.

He's an anime mania and his nickname comes from Izuku Midoriya, which if you're Japanese, you can probably pronounce more correctly than everyone here.

Confirmed, He will play the same role that izu played today.

3-2 zeta with T1 Vyse comp again and every watchers in vlr will die of brain cancer. never believe autumn mf

posted 8 months ago

I don't really think much of T1, they've been an outrage in the first two games and then just played old DRX style in the other. I've been watching kush's Ult since the DFM game, so i just wanna say how high hit rate he is all day long.

posted 8 months ago

At least Ult was incredible all day long...

posted 8 months ago

I don't know he's as mechanically good as the Indonesian hype, but he uses Sova really really well, especially his Ult, which is much more impressive than Lakia, Zest, etc. When he shots, he kills.

posted 8 months ago

I don't know Kush is a real aim-god, but I think he's one of the best use of Sova's skill in the world. I'm impressed that every time he uses Ult, gets a kill.

posted 8 months ago

Autumn can win if he does nothing. plz just drink a beer in the stands.

You're right, but Brazil and LATAM may have fewer. They are the only Pacific teams that pay NA level salaries. Including A0t0mn's coach salary, of course.

Oh, I forgot to add APAC.

Most expensive team in tier 1 vs random tier 2 team. It's terrible.

I love Dambi, but his neon is like a cocaine overdose. He gives me an orgasm just looking at him, and sometimes it's so bad that he dies alone that it irritates me. Monyet is a little less unstable, so he's a pleasure to watch.

posted 8 months ago

Monyet may not be the best neon in the world, but it's the most fun to look at. Jemkin's bit boring.

posted 8 months ago

Wow, locking yourself into a long is one of the worst tactics ever.

posted 8 months ago

Wow, He's also good with the Sova skill.

posted 8 months ago

Kush's pre-fire timing is excellent. Whenever he catches his opponent off-guard, he's sure to score a kill.

posted 8 months ago

Why not Monyet neon He's neon is the funniest neon to watch in the world. Sad.
