SEA have already united together politically with ASEAN (Even Australia consider enter in it IIRC), including Japan and Korean sounds kinda ok since they are asian country too that have to face the big China, they are not southeastern but they share some common point. India alone is a big power that doesn't share anything with Asean or JPKR, I can easly imagine why it's easier to identify as a Apac when you are Indonesian and why it's almost impossible for an Indian.

Lets be honest you are too far from pacific, and if people say "I'm asian" nobody will imagine the guys coming from India or middle east, so you are not really APAC.

You are supposed to be your own region like middle east and Africa, but because PC culture is not here yet you have to wait in APAC for the moment and be an "Apacian by defalt" (If you want you can also root for EMEA because we all are descandant of "proto-indo-european" but i'm not sure that confort your heart.)

I'm confident about India becoming a T1 in maybe... 10 or 20 years, and you should be confident too. If you want to warm your heart, you can realize you are lucky enough because you will be able to see India growing as a region step by step until they become a T1 region.

I kinda have the same feeling for Africa, as a french I care a lot about every country that speak french, and Africa is the place in the worlds where the most frenchspeaking are (Kingshasa is already the "biggest French city in the world"), so yet I have no African Valorant to follow, not even in T2, but I will have the chance to see it growing until it become a T1 (it's inevitable seeing the demography of Subsaharia), and maybe if i'm lucky enough, I will be able to help it to grow, thing I couldn't do if when I discovered Valorant, Africa was already a T1 region

Probably the same for Americas, I like this idea of 1 region divided in 2 (Maybe that will be usefull the day riot want to make region based on geography and hold Stage 1 South Americas in Brasil and stage 1 SEA in SG)

To be fair, SPX beat EDG twice during the VCT China, and EDG won only once, I'm not that sure EDG >>> FPX

They have the best comp for a retake and playing aggro, to me it sounds like an absolutely nonsense, but I'm open to listening how playing aggro with that comp is smart

Hmmm kinda agree on that, FNC is really high because seems FNC 2023 was the best valorant team ever (With only 2 loose during the seaons)
About PRX I don't think they will win the competition, but I think it's the only team i'm kinda sure they will make top 3, I can't say that for any other team.
FPX steamrolled their own region it's the first time another team beside EDG dominate the region, but I don't know if thats because they improve or because every other team beside EDG is now really trash in China, FPX gonna be a crash test, (Even if they are no way they make top 4)
Lev kinda struggled a lot in playoff and kickoff, I think I would also rank them a little bit higher, but not that mush.

With PRX-FNC-EG being that high I think I shally really consider doing a "soft reset" every year, but that would mean FPX potentially being even higher so... I'm not really sure how to solve this

Not true, a meta where other agent are as good as Jett + Raze isn't overwatch... It's current Val since S1 and it's totally fine. More time pass and more agent are underwhelming to play, if at least it will make more fun to play against, but it's not. I rather play against a Raze or a Jett than an Iso or a Yoru that even if they are weak, are really frustrating to play agaist

Yes I know, because China didn't play enough competitive games they are a little bit overrated, You can get easy points by betting on FPX I think (If FPX does good, that will probably be a good point for the bot, and it's even worst for EG that are still ranked at top of NA because the inertia of last year)
I think with more time this problem will be solved. My bet will be FPX loosing to FUT, then being favorite in lower round and still loosing again, so probably free 500 point here...

I've been creating an algorithm that give every Tier 1 team an "ELO", based on that ELO I can calculate the chance of every team to win, and then betting odd. The algorithm still need few adjustments to be efficient and probably have a lot of flaws, and the best way to find them is to test it ! And the best way to test it is to make it compete against humain and see if it get destroyed or not.
So I want to organize a little contest (With no money involved of course, i'm not a betting site that will try to take your money), before every match, I will give the odd for every game and you can bet in commentary. All of you receive 1000 point, you can bet 100 point maximum on each game.
