I think the feasability of a MN server would depend a lot of what would be the ping on Central Asia and Novosbirsk, if Kazakh or Uzbek can have a good ping on UB, then you could be seen a "The most stable country of the region"

• H2H is the worst metric ever, especially since that can create some situation of, where if you would have loose a kickoff game you could have go to champs, and winning a specific kickoff game take you out.
• MIBR with a normal tiebreaker rule, would have been out
• We could give argument about the point system being a little bit weird, and with a really small change, we could have a GEN or a Talon in with how close this is

Chile already have their server, thats why I dont rate high Argentina ^^, I also think Peru is a huge darkhorse.

"South-CIS" is really a place with so mushpotential but Geopolitics doesn't help and it seems putting a server in RU would be a problem even with peace for legal reason, thats why Kazakh have their chance, and even Mongolia that would cover Siberia have their chance.

For SEA we have : PH / SG / HK, but mainland SEA (TH, VN, CB, LA, MM) doesn't have a server

Sometimes the internet cable are saturated or have maintenance, I suppose this is the problem...

Nah people just overestimate him and didn't understand it, nobody did a "anti Tejo plan". Tejo is good for team like G2 with amazing fundamentals, wish isn't the case for other team, too many T1 team are only able to saturate a site with 5 ppl,

tldr NMWR does matter if the pvalue is under 0.05. Tejo was at 47% NMWR anyway

I think the system could have been better (Top 2 qual, best team in point qual + a LCQ that more you have point more you enter late. This tournament can be play during the playoffs so it doesn't require more day

• A team that have to defend the last champions title
• A team that have to defend the last official international event title
• A team that have to defend the last international event title
• A team that won the 3 last regional title in a raw (And ended 2nd the 2 next regional title)

The new server in PH was a huge release and I admit I would have never bet on a new PH server soon (Since HK server was probably mostly a PH server since only north VN and HKTW was the only other country that play on it

Before we start I want to say that, I'm really curious to know the best ping and server for people that live in a country that don't have one, so don't hesitate to tell me it's gonna be helpful to my research.

Here are to me the main contenders, I want all of you to give a percent chance of this to be the next server :

• Toronto : Probably useless since too close from Chicago, but sometimes the internet cable have weird track, so we never know…
• USA : I have absolutely no idea where
• Lima : I don't see how Bogotá server help, it seems than Peru is a scene with potential since they have the population or Argentina, and they already have a developed scene on some niche games, it seems it would also help a lot Bolivia (Potentially reducing by 30ping), but I’m not sure if I can trust my data.
• Buenos Aires : I don't trust in that one, Buenos Aires already have a great ping on Santiago, but if Lima become a thing it could become a contender
• Fortaleza : I trust 0% even if it's an interesting hub for north Brazil (One third of a huge population) that I don't think have a good ping, and south Caribbean, (and it could be a solution for BR-NA visa problem)
• Lagos (Or any part in CEDEAO), pro : Probably the part of the world that need the most, con : very poor
• Nairobi/Zanzibar (Or any part of EAC), pro : Kinda isolated but less than West Africa, but more stable, con : Maybe even poorer than Nigeria
• Italia : Biggest developed country without a server
• Marseille (Or LNA) : Weirdly enough it sounds Marseille is a Maghreb internet cable hub, It would become the "LNA server" if happening (The same way Miami is the LAN server)
• Balkans (Including Greece) : I have no idea why, but it seems their best server is Frankfurt, No Warsaw, No Istanbul despite being lother, I'm really curious to have more info about "how is the ping and the best server in there"
• Moscow (Or West-Russia) : A no-brainer, but I think they are a problem with rules even if the war is over
• Almaty (Or Central Asia) : A huge market that Riot need to conquered
• Ulaanbaatar : Val and FPS is growing in there, and it could be a solution for central Russia that can't have a server
• Chennai (or East-India, I know Chennai is south India, but it might be still the best place for east-India for submarine netw) : India is big and a growing market, and it seems Bangladesh and probably east India doesn't have an amazing ping on Mumbai (East Indian please tell me), it can also be useful to scrim SEA people.
• Bangkok (Or Mainland SEA) : I really thought it was one of the best contenders seeing how TH is huge, and it might also help VN that is a market with potential
• You can expand this list by proposing some more server if it’s make sense (A 16th proposition could be nice so we can run a tournament)

So here are the odd and the tierlist, What percent of chance I would give to all of them, give yours !

Hope tier (2%, 50 odd), make sense if you are a hard geography fan and internet cable map enjoyer, not if you are a man in charge of marketing

Luxury tier (1%, 100 odd), wouldn't make really sense to put it there next
