affording a gun on an eco is exactly why you would risk it
although to be fair in terms of macro like purely winning rounds isnt the only thing that matters
which rounds you win matters a lot
by saving more you win more lowbuys but get ecoed more often
i guess its a matter of if that payoff works out. looking at stats it does but obviously its more complex than that

i definitely agree its dependent on map/bombsite
but you can have strats to play around this, trade and have someone pick up the gun after if needed

ive seen mada buy a stinger occasionally even when he can buy a rifle

yeah i know what fpx buy is, but thats a specific strat for round 2 (not a full buy), and you can really only consistently do this on t side
i mean you do this on full buys later into the half

okay logic being: basically the round win rate difference between 4 rifles + stinger/bucky/spectre vs 5 rifles isnt that big, especially if its like your hard entry dashing in taking point blank fights or like some baiting role where you can steal guns from the floor
the increase to round win rate from like 4 pistols and a rifle (or like you drop your team a couple stingers or buckys) vs 5 pistols is comparatively greater
maybe teams should have 1 person save on full buys

nrg losing is actually a good thing
before i couldnt publicly support nrg cause i would just look like a bandwagoner

thermal paste usually doesnt come pre applied to the cpu but if you buy a cooler or if your cpu includes a stock cooler there will almost always be either a tube of thermal paste or thermal paste pre applied to the cooler

actually, now that i think about it, tejo should be strong for icebox defaults as well
usually on a b default kayo knifes yellow and sova drone close to push any defenders into the site
tejo can drone close and then use missiles at yellow to achieve the same effect
at A you can also drone the awkward headshot angles from pipes
the ult also seems pretty good too because since both bombsites are tejo ult shaped rectangles
the only thing stopping tejo is comp difficulties i think
sova is just so strong specifically on this map that i dont know if it would be worth it to replace sova with tejo
i think whats more likely is replacing the flash initiator and then playing yoru to get flashes in the comp
yoru - tejo - sova - viper - kj seems like a pretty strong comp

ascent has plenty of little cubbies as well as strong bunker positions like backsite b that mollies can clear so i think tejo is definitely meta
icebox macro has historically been very focused on plant denial and after plants so i think tejo will be very good for stuff like breaking kj mollies, preventing plant, and after plants

also sacy was incredible on sova for 3 straight years
leo was good but 2022 and 2024 weren't good years for his team

yes but in the upper half of ranked (like gold+) omen has much higher winrate
the opposite is true for sage for example, where sage has actually incredible winrate in low elo

walling also takes a long time (compared to viper walls) so ur just holding utility a lot of the time so youre not really getting active

at the highest level of play i feel like harbor is underrated, but fragging as harbor is really hard since you have no utility to help yourself get kills. you cant even peek through your walls.
