If you want to just look at individual events then there are plenty of times Chronicle was the best on his team but looking at the year as a whole you could argue 2021 and he was undoubtedly the best on his team in 2024.
Leo didn't play for half the year, alfajer looked like a shadow of his 2023 self and Derke was dreadful for half the year. In 2024 he was easily the best.

The thing is that Chronicle has been one of the best players itw for years even if you ignore his achievements so he should be definitely be in the conversation. What you are saying applies more to jawgemo who despite his middling performances and unimpressive peaks is considered by some to be top 10 oat.
It's not bs Fnatic is a tech pause org. There is a reason any game pause in LoL is known as a fnatic pause. Looks like they decided to abuse it in valorant too

I'm sorry but like how do you not understand? I'll give one last explanation and if you still don't understand then I really can't help you. So for me the matches are at 12pm and 3pm and those match times were previously flipped for upper semis and lower round 1 i.e. the match that is supposed to start at 12pm was according to the schedule starting at 3pm and vice versa for the one that is supposed to start at 3pm. They fixed it now though except Lower round 2 match times now have the same problem.
Thanks for fixing it but LR2 is now wrong. If you look at previous events the times are flipped in LR2 compared to LR1 due to the losers of upper semis getting placed on the opposite side of the lower bracket.
For example: https://www.vlr.gg/event/1999/champions-tour-2024-masters-shanghai (PRX played at 7am in Lower Round 1 but 4am in LR2)
This means that this match is supposed to start at 12pm and not 3pm: https://www.vlr.gg/498632/tbd-valorant-masters-toronto-2025-lr2 and this one should start at 3pm not 12pm: https://www.vlr.gg/498631/tbd-valorant-masters-toronto-2025-lr2
No that's not what I meant by the match times being wrong look at the example I added on my original post and you will se what was wrong. (It's fixed now except LR2 is now wrong)
No the upper semis and LR1 match times are flipped it's supposed to be the people playing on friday that play the first match and the ones on saturday playing the last match
