Yeah but it isn't really baiting. Baiting, atleast the bad kind is when you let your teammates peek before you so you can easily trade them and pad your stats. This sound cue shit, although it could technically be called baiting is hardly something to criticize a player for or something that would make someone a baiter

Sure if sound cues count as baiting then she is baiting but I don't think most people would consider that to be baiting. Also it's not like the enemy can peek and shoot after the vyse wall is triggered since you know you can't really see or shoot the enemy through it

But the thing is that molsi isn't being baited. He is literally just clearing the util while flor stands ready for the enemy to peek. If the enemy actually peeks there they are going to see flor before they see molsi.

That thread about flor being a baiter has to be one of the worst threads on this website. And that's not to say that you can't make a case for flor being a baiter, I mean if you look at her total first engagements per round (combined fkpr + fdpr) it is one of the lowest in franchising among duelists yet still comparable to other duelist players (I'm aware of players like Kaajak who frequently play double duelist and therefore has lower first engagements but for example Jawgemo has only 0.02 more first engagements per round as a solo duelist player than flor (this stat is excluding his gekko games)).

The problem though is that "flor is a bigger baiter than aspas" analysis thread although to even call that an analysis would be giving it too much credit. Like 80% of the examples shown were just straight up misrepresenting what happened with misleading screenshots or points that make absolutely no sense if you have any idea of how the game works. It's obviously a thread by a flor hater who is also clearly anti-trans as well but is too scared to actually be openly transphobic and instead chooses to talk like no normal human actually would by always referring to her as 'flor' and never by any pronouns (he only does this for flor btw, every other player he talks about like a normal human). For example this comment:

First of all she isn't baiting molsi. Molsi is clearing the util while flor his holding c bend for where they expect there will be first contact. Baiting would be molsi going in first to die so flor could trade him but that's not at all what is happening here. Then Apeks executes on to site with a few abilities and she runs in first while the rest of the team get zoned by a breach aftershock. How you blame a prepared execute on to site that gets stopped by enemy util on flor is beyond me.

Yes and she gets the first kill. Also when contacting your duelist does not always have to go first. Duelists don't go first because they are duelists, they go first because their kits allow them to take favorable duels and create space with their movement abilities. When just reclearing space on the map without any util it's not unusual for other players to peek before the duelist you can take a look at vods of other teams and you'd find that they sometimes do the same.

Yeah that was kinda the point she went in and then decided to back off since they expected a trap play and it ends up being a 2 for 1 for apeks with flor getting both kills. It makes more sense for governer to take the ult orb and flor is also the more mechanically gifted player so she should be the one taking the gunfight and not the one getting stunned.

Omen tping on to site and then duelist peeking from main is quite literally a very common execute on B site (although omen usually also uses paranoia before tping in which he for some reason didn't in this case). Also saying that flor is baiting governer there is just wrong they are double flashing then peeking but governer goes in too early and gets blinded by flors flash it's just straight up his fault and not flors.

This is by far the most hilarious one governer literally runs out solo B and dies while the rest of the team runs to C and you call that flor baiting the delusional hating on this one is just insane. Then it's apparently shameless that avova runs into site before her into enemies that would've been breach ult if they were there.

I can't bother going through more rounds but it's clear that most of these examples are terrible and wrong. Does Flor bait? Sometimes she definitely does and in total probably a bit more than most other duelists I mean there were a few times in this match where molsi was clearly trying to bait for her when they were dry peeking angles and it seemed like an intentional strategy. But the straight up delusional hating and misrepresentation in that thread is just insane and the fact that so many people agree with it is just beyond me although I imagine that most of those people didn't actually bother to read that thread. You could probably make a similar thread with the same arguments he used to argue that flor is a baiter about every single duelist player due to how bad the arguments are.

You know there are set plays teams do and when taking B on Lotus the set play is usually for omen to paranoia then tp on site and then duelist peaks from main that's how both Fnatic and FUT did it in their match. Idk why omen doesn't use paranoia there if he did both him and flor could've killed them without dying idk how you blame that on flor and how you don't know that Omen tp on to site is something teams tend to do.
