tbh i dont even think they were choking, since that implies that they did worse than expected

honestly I think it's a good thing overall (obviously bad if you look at it from the individual players standpoint)
it means that the standard of duelist is very high (as only the best will stay on the role)
also it means that the excess who don't cut it can play support agents, on which they'll still have really good mechanics, meaning you have much better firepower
