ORDER, a Melbourne-based esports club, have announced that they will host the first Oceanic event in Riot's Ignition Series: the Oceanic Valorant Open. The event features a $10,000 AUD ($6890~ USD) prize pool and is open to all players from Australia and New Zealand. The event is the largest of its kind so far for the Oceanic region.

A swiss stage qualifier will be held from the 3rd to the 13th of July, with up to 1024 teams able to compete. 16 of these teams will qualify for the group stage, running from the 17th to the 19th of July. Two groups of eight will be formed, with three teams from each group advancing to the playoffs following a double elimination-bracket. The top team from each group will automatically advance to the semifinals. Finally, the playoffs will be held from the 22nd to the 26th of July and will be played out through a single-elimination bracket.

The $10,000 AUD ($6890~ USD) will be allocated as detailed below:

  • 1st: $5,000 AUD ($3,444~ USD)
  • 2nd: $3,000 AUD ($2066~ USD)
  • 3rd: $1,500 AUD ($1033~ USD)
  • 4th: $500 AUD ($344~ USD)
