leaf put up better numbers at Champs and C9 progressed farther than SEN. Yes TenZ was easily the most dominant player in NA for Stage 1 and Stage 2, but when Masters 3 came around, TenZ started having poor performances. So while TenZ was dominant for the majority of 2021, he was not dominant for all of 2021.

c9 went futher at champ because sen got much tougher enemy krü 3rd+lq 4rd in group stage
while c9 only has to play against two asian teams in group dont forget c9 instandly lost to fnatic tenz is currently 5:0 fnatic
sen vs lq 1:2 was also a much closer match then c9 vs lq 0:2
in the match with lq tenz almost single handel win the sec maps for sen on his own
