Is it possible to hit radiant or any high rank in 60hz. Like I'm lowkirkenuinely stuck in plat and I think it's my monitor. I have pretty good mechanics honestly. voltaic ascendant. And I'm not a really dumb player either. But idk I win duels when I peek but it's really hard to hold if I'm not awping since the enemies literally appear on my screen because of the frame times

idk if you have access to KTC or AOC monitors but they are cheap and good quality, they should be around 100$

There are actually quite a few pretty good cheaper 1080p and 1440p monitors that you can find for around $150. So I'd just look for an ips panel, 1 ms or lower response time, and a 144 hz refresh rate and has good reviews that aren't botted.

Also make sure to look up the monitors name/model on Google to see if there are any 3rd party reviews or reddit threads about it.

i would think oping would be harder with low hz? I do think it is doable and also depends on your frames.

I get like 250fps and awping is easier than holding with a rifle

idk about that, because when I had lower hz before rifling was better because oping is based on reaction time and if it stutters a bit then you are cooked. also could be just a skill issue idk. I got to diamond with 60hz so fwiw might not apply because I'm different region.

i've seen people hit immortal with wild hand tremors and all sorts so to hit the big red or at least high green absolutely

radiant would be more challenging. i imagine you'd have to have the level of a consistent high radiant/t2 pro to hit "normal" radiant with low fps or low hz. hard to say without knowing you or your current level ig but is it physically possible? im sure it is. put someone like oxy on 60hz he will be pretty mad about it but if he tried he could get radiant back 100%

Trent went qualified to a masters event on 60 Hz lol and he went pro on 60 hz 60 fps. Having a good monitor will absolutely help you but talent trumps all

getting a +100hz is rather cheap rn, I've seen 180hz monitors as low as 50€/50$

i got to asc on a wired mouse, 60hz, and 70fps. this was 3 years ago and when i got better stuff i shot up to immortal. peripherals help but arent everything, especially in plat ur fine.

just thinking back i played so differently as well. incredibly low sens because i couldnt see anything with higher sens, playing mostly lurk/passive roles because i couldnt see anything if i had to move my mouse/react quickly, barely took any risks because i would mostly lose 50/50s because of my shitty ass peripherals. you cant really play normal if you want to climb, you have to adapt to your constraints.

144hz monitors are dumb cheap, you could probably even get a used 240hz one for very cheap
