its been a rule since forever that if you get caught simulating a foul you get a yellow
VAR called because ref gave a wrong yellow to argentina player since it wasn't a foul

You can cover your mouth, you just can't talk to the opposing team whilst covering your mouth since the implication is that you're saying some heinous stuff to them whilst trying to avoid scrutiny
