not even the best player on his team. Its more doran and the coaches fault for this game. mf thought he was zeus
G2 are just the single team from the west that are decent and can actually play against Korea and CN. Also T1 have been Worlds merchants for like the last half decade.

Its not really a bad thing to be worlds merchants, but some people who don't watch league apart from T1 just expect them to always be the best team in the world when a lot of times they aren't.
Unfortunately Riot has made it so that people don’t care about anything but worlds in LoL, hard to change that narrative. Otherwise a Chovy would be respected a lot more for being a much more consistent player than Faker over the last half decade.
none of the gen g players will be respected because of the whole "choking at worlds" narrative like last year stomped the lck won ewc won msi and they still got clowed because of worlds
Yeah there’s a problem if the entire scene is reduced down to just 1 event when the patches completely shift the meta; at least in Valo master trophies are jconsidered international wins same as champs so no one downplays the prestige (thanks to CS major culture)
faker has been out of the top player convo performance wise for a while
he is more of a clutch player with leadership qualities now than a raw performance guy
