Why do so many people hate on RRQ for being regional merchants?

In Masters Toronto, they were unfortunate to go against WOL and be eliminated by FNC. These teams eventually came 3rd and 2nd in the event.

In EWC 2025, they were extremely unlucky to lose against NRG and get eliminated by TH. These teams eventually won Champs Paris and EWC 2025.

In Champs Paris, they had a huge challenge of playing against MIBR and FNC, where Aspas went absolutely Thanos in that tournament and FNC eventually came 2nd in Champs.

In EWC 2026, they were unfortunate to face 100T, who were top 4 in Champs 2021 and top 4 in Masters Shanghai.

RRQ are not regional merchants. They are just the unluckiest Valorant team ever in international tournaments because they have to keep facing the top teams.

RRQ give out free wins to other regions. Make them qual to playoffs easier. Their excuse will always be the same "we don't have much experience against international teams etc". They should do it in offseason boot camp in NA/EU. Don't do it in big stake tournament, wasting pacific international spot. RRQ hate is justified.
