G2, XLG, DRG: All been pretty consistently good regionally and G2 has been pretty consistent making internations
NS: Won a masters trophy
Envy: At least showed they could punch up by winning against MIBR
2G: Had their IGL quit on them and had to wait for their cracked duelist to turn 18 and by the time he did the rest of the players on 2G already gave up and 2G were in a group with G2, Sen, and C9 who at the time were all pretty good teams.
Varrel: They are pretty horrendous so I'll give you this one
NS: Only good in a meta with 2 broken duelists, do jackshit without it
G2: i dont consider them a true t2 team since they went to internationals pre franchising
XLG+DRG: I like these teams, but u have to consider its not the rosters they came up with, they have had serious upgrades plus china as a region is lower skilled overall
Envy: they wont play how they did against mibr ever again, p0ppin was the one who wanted to play like that and now hes gone
2G: ill give u that one, however they were terrible with zap anyways, but spike not being there was worse for them ig

they went 0-2 at the only international they qualified to and went on a downhill streak losing to lots of open qualifier teams
NS: There have been many teams who have won because they were better at certain agents than other teams(Optic and Chamber)
G2: Whether you consider them a T2 team or not, they are one because G2 didn't get partnered and bought out TGRD and signed a roster with 4 tier 2 players
XLG+DRG: Both made internationals their first year with little to no changes to their rosters that won them ascension and only really changed after they were already in tier 1.
Envy: Who knows how they'll play going forward(could be better or worse), but that doesn't change that they dominated MIBR and at least showed some potential that they could have competed.
bro envy only won cuz p0ppin got them to agree to play eggsters last game rankers style, they arent gonna do that again. XLG dropped 3 players out of ascension with MRcani, kristal, and mart1n, as well as DRG dropping 2 players from their ascension winning team before qualifying(they cut zeno and dingwei). G2, regardless whether they went 0-2 or not, made that international, showing they were able to be a top team in the world, and any team only good in a meta that suits them perfectly isnt a truly good team because they arent able to adapt(NS, OPTC, etc)
DRG had to get rid of Zeno because of the single import rule and then DRG played with dingwei in 2024 kickoff and only decided to bench him after kickoff concluded. XLG may had to drop kr1stal due to the import rule and XLG signed 2 more tier 2 players to join their roster which is them still being full of tier 2 talent. Also, there were a lot of teams that are/have been in tier 2 that have made internationals pre-franchising, but because they weren't partnered they had to participate in tier 2, so yes G2 is a T2 ascension team whether the players on their team had been to an international before or not because they like all other ascension teams had to fight through tier 2. And also, being able to play around agents that no other team were able to play around at the level you did is a skill itself, the fact that you can't accept that doesn't make NS a fluke, they had the same playing field as the rest of the teams at Santiago and took advantage of the meta best.
