I remember back in the day like 2021-22 casters were like actually good even for tournaments like vcc or random tier 3 games but now the casters in India are genuinely horrible. Like watch any challengers south Asia game and you will cringe. The observers are really bad too like they will somehow miss an ace from the guy who has been fragging out the whole game and they never get the important momentd

money brother it's all Riot and their stupid franchise system that destroyed everything . Now there's no viwership, no sponsors and as a result why will Nodwin put money to hire good casters and good observers ? They try to do their job finish it in as cheap as possible that's it to minimize their losses. This division of not letting half of the teams ever play in VCT made people feel VCL is inferior and it became inferior bcz everyone only wants to watch 'VCT' . will get better again from next year lets just hope we arent too late now
at this point each of vcls are run by their partners at this rate and you just pray your partner is good (like dach, france turkiye with lan finals)

Esports casting in India has taken a hit since the day Fyxs retired..... His jokes used to be so good and not lame like the current ones.
people did before this division that came in Franchise bcz back then there were no tiers the same teams that played in Tier 3 tournaments could and did play in Masters and Champs. Basically nobody had air of exclusivity everyone freely played everywhere online and locally wherever they could participate and have fun and win tournaments.
t2 in japan is so big their views are on par with tier 1 game (regional)
japanese aren't very prosperous in valorant so ofc they won't watch tier 1
dude they get 90k live views from 3 costreamers, their t2 has t3 and t4 academies insane money, and the infra is good (their t2 pays well enough that lot of talents doesnt go to t1 like zeta/dfm on purpose since t2 players have more time for content)

I remember I talked to Un1verse who is one of the most indulged talents in the Indian val scene and he said that the pc scene is pretty dead with no money. Nodwin has no money to pay casters and analysts.
