THE ENC dark horse for me. They have the best players that they have to offer right now. Aace, the upcoming star rookie that's been waiting to get picked up to a partnered team. Dep, an internationally proven player and was one of the best duelists in Pacific at some point. Meiy the top duelist from all of Pacific. SugarZ3ro, the most consistent Japanese player and IGL. And Caedye the rookie that took DFM to a new level with his flexibility this year.

Japan is going to prove that they're not just a "viewership" region and that they can make their nation proud.

I think New Zealand or Malaysia is the bigger dark horses ngl. New Zealand is the team with players who try the hardest. they prob have the most practice but their mechanics are kinda meh sadly. Meanwhile, Malaysia doesn't have that much talent so it will be interesting to see how d4v41 and the new rrq rookie Xan carry their team.

Some of those teams aren't gonna get much time to prep and prac for enc so they could honestly look worse than expected.

If they get enough time for prac then for sure. And it's possible too cause dfm and zeta most likely won't be top 2 in stage 2 so they would have more time to prep for enc.

Japan and France are probably the only 2 teams out of the open qualifiers that'll stand a chance against any of the auto qualified teams.
